We stayed at Grand Caribbean east which was a minute's drive from the beach. The $20 for the pass was totally worth it because we visited Fort Pickens on it and could use it for 7 days. It was nice to get away from the...More

Wonderful place to enjoy the surf and sounds. See ghost crabs. Watch tiny fish school by the shore. Walk in the soft sand. Jump in the water. Come before sunrise & enjoy the sights.

This is a National Park but has the feel of a hometown beach for the locals. We have been going there for years. Clean restrooms and nice covered picnic areas. Don't for get your sunscreen!

Living only a few short miles from Johnson Beach we can enjoy it year around. The best time for us is in late October and November when most of the tourist or gone and the weather is perfect!

We used our National Park Pass to enter Johnson Beach National Seashore for free. The beach was beautiful. The water was clean. The sand was white. The parking was adequate. The facilities were in good condition.

The view was spectacular. The breeze was cool. The beach was alive with creatures. The boardwalk was the perfect place for an evening picnic. Pavilions, grills, toilets, lifeguards and a pristine beach.

This is our Pensacola beach of choice! Our family has been coming to the gulf coast for as long as I can remember and our local family always preferred Johnson to the crowds of Pensacola Beach. As an adult I now know why. I have...More
