My husband and I went there this week. Has a cute visitors center and it was a nice easy hike which was well maintained wooden path. There were two nice lookouts as well.

A nice place to take a walk and enjoy nature. Pretty place. See wildlife and birds. A good place to stretch your legs after getting off the airplane.

We like the trails on the sound side. (Although both sides are great!). In the early morning, Take a stick with you to tear down the spider webs along your path! There were quite a few the times we’ve gone!

Never knew this existed before, in Gulf Breeze, near turnoff to bridge to Pensacola Beach. has picnic tables and restroom. beach is only 10 ft wide, but great views across the bay to Pensacola Beach. quiet place away from the crowds.

We enjoyed our time visiting the Naval Live Oaks portion of Gulf Islands National Seashore. We spent most of our time there walking on a very narrow beach, seeing some wildlife and getting back to nature. The exhibits in the visitor center, explaining the different densities of wood were interesting and it is easy to see why they chose to use the live oaks. The only negative we noticed was that there was not a ranger anywhere to be found, so we could not ask the questions we had.…
