A great time was had by all! There were six of us, and we did not know what to expect. Our hostess did a great job of prepping us, and was spot on when we asked for help with a "clue". The clues can be a bit sneaky, and we learned to not overthink things. It was a lot more fun that we thought it would be and if you are puzzle solvers, then this is a game for you. You will have one hour to complete your escape, and you will need every minute of it!

We've done 4 escape rooms in various states and hands down this was the best. I proposed to me wonderful girlfriend in the death row room and Johnathan was amazing in helping me set it up and accommodating our family for the surprise 10 star service. We'll definitely be back for the Navy Seal room.

Reservations mean nothing to these people. We went in earlier today to see how the game worked and decided to make reservations for the same day at 7pm. We were advised to be 15 minutes prior. We showed up on time. The place was locked up tight. I called the number on the door and was told the receptionist didn't see the scheduling and it would take someone 45 minutes to get there. We are just going to find somewhere else to go.

Let me start by saying I LOVE escape rooms. I've done them all across the United States. However, the more I do, the more I realize that there are some truly terrible businesses out there, and this one ranks right there at the very bottom. From the price, to the quality of the room, to the customer service, this is one of the worst escape rooms I've ever done.
For starters, they charge $30 a person, and they require a minimum of 4 tickets sold to even run a room. Not because the rooms require that many people, they simply just don't feel like it's worth their time to run a room with less than that. Also, $30 is an absolutely absurd price for a ticket. When you've done the truly remarkable rooms in Nashville ($28) Memphis ($20) and some of the ones in New York ($25) you can truly appreciate just how high that price is, especially considering the majority of the room is basic locks. For escape room lovers like myself, you find that you're willing to risk paying the over the top price, because they can be incredibly fun and rewarding. This room however was neither.
The room aesthetics are decent at best. It looks like the set from a low budget 80's television show. The carpet they've attempted to lay is bunching up throughout, and is even disconnected in one area directly in the middle of the room. They also do not label any of their own locks that you are not supposed to open. Typically, that's not a huge issue, because most companies don't have an over abundance of locks that you shouldn't touch or open, and if they have any, they have the courtesy to label them, or use keyed locks, not locks that require combinations like the ones you're doing in the room. Very few puzzles in the room. A lot of the room was simply observation. That's all well and good, but Highlights books provide observation puzzles for about $28 less than the cost of this room.
We still love escape rooms, but the group that was with us was doing their first room, and made it clear that they didn't have fun nor would they be returning, and that's the worst thing about poorly put together/overpriced rooms like this. Not only do they anger experienced players, but they turn first timers off almost completely, which I fear will cause the escape room trend to fade much quicker than it should.

I am very sorry that you did not enjoy this room that others have truly enjoyed. We have had other escape room fanatics that have claimed the puzzles were great and they enjoyed them immensely. Knowing we cannot make everyone happy, we certainly try our best to do just that. Our experience has been that this type of review is driven by poor customer service and if that is the case we sincerely apologize. The minimum requirement is not money driven, it is there to improve the experience. To an experienced gamer as yourself, you might have no problem completing the room with just two. For most that have not done an escape room, only two people takes away from the experience. We have done many escape rooms ourselves and continue to research and improve our escape rooms. If anyone feels that our escape rooms only rates 2 stars, please give me a call and I will be happy to discuss any concerns you might have.
Sincerely,
Lynn

If you are planning to do your first room escape skip this review. Just go and do it you will love it.
If you have some previous experience and want to know what to expect as far as quality and production keep reading.
Location.
location in safe area with big sign outisde. Easy to find. With plenty of parking.
It's located on small business type plaza where you can find regular pizza places, barber shops and so on.
Nothing fancy on outside.
Our game master was Brittney. She did good job.
Customer service 5 out of 5
Inside regular office setting with counter and sitting area.
Office and Toilets clean. music in lobby area.
This review for Death row quest.
Escape rate there is about 21%.
We escaped within last 30 sec
I paid $30 with no additional charges.
We had 9 people in our group.
6 would be about optimal number.
There is no back story verbal or video given. You just get rules and you get to the room.
Light spoilers below
Rooms (plural) was not too bed but not greatest too. Jail cells was just regular painted rooms no block or brick walls. Doors was regular doors but modifyed to have bars in them. Doors didn't look too bad. Other rooms was also very lightly decorated. One room supposed to have white tile on walls it was just fake tile panels and it was glued to the wall not professionally and not everywhere. Looked like they run out of it at some point.
There was no music or sounds inside.
Overall Quality of production 3 out of 5 which is not bad at all.
Production of props 3 out of 5.
Many items in the quest was not needed there. They just made us run in the circles.
Puzzles
few puzzles was creative and unique for the quest. That was a plus.
But we had a puzzle in the game which was just to kill your time. When we asked at the end what was that for (we spent 10 min solving it) Brittany told us it didn't lead to anything. There was another item (can't give out details) but it looked deffenetly as item we need to use. And yet again it just was there for no reason.
That was big minus in my openion for this quest. Plenty of combination locks to open. I wish there was less of them and little more of other things. But again I have seen much worse before.
Game flow.
Game flow was adequate. If not few things here and there I would say game flow 4 out of 5.
Total score 5 out of 10

We had a blast. Originally we had planned on doing Death Row, however, not enough people signed up so we changed our time and we did Navy Seals. This was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.
We even set a record time for the facility, we had 16 minutes 23 seconds left on the clock!

Having done several escape rooms, I know what you can get for $30 an hour. This place under delivers. Besides definite contentions with the format of the game, we were also disappointed with the aesthetics. They have clues written on the wall in sharpie... Also, a vast majority of our time was spent trying to complete a single task that only one person could participate in at a time. That by nature goes against what escape rooms try to do. Instead of working as a team, dividing and conquering, everyone else just had to sit around for 20 minutes while the task was attempted over and over again. Don't want to spoil the clue for anyone planning on going to play Death Row, but it was bush league, hundreds of ways to improve the method of key retrieval, if you play it you'll see. It only takes away from the game and the time you have to actually problem solve. We did escape. So this review doesn't come from a place of failure. Purely from disappointment and the need to forewarn future patrons.

We welcome your opinion and I have also done many escape rooms across the U.S. To rate this experience as anything under a 3 star is questionable to me. We are very confident in the value of our experience and would be happy to refund your money. Send me your name, date and time that the reservation was under.

We did this to celebrate my mother in laws 50th birthday because we all enjoy the escape games. This was so much fun and left us begging for more...so much that were planning to book again immediately! They did an amazing job with this game and facility staff was awesome. Most fun activity we've ever done in PC

I'm finding it quite ridiculous that my review keeps getting deleted. Why is it that this company cannot handle a review from someone that they treated poorly and caused them to have a bad experience?? The owner, and the employees are so rude! Don't go here! They treat you like crap and then tell you that it is your fault, even when you did nothing.

Actually, businesses can’t remove reviews. TripAdvisor won’t let them because they don’t give businesses access to that feature. They want to keep reviews honest. If your review was removed it’s because TripAdvisor rejected it, not the business. You’re also not allowed to leave more than one review for the same business without 3-6 months in between. It sounds like you broke TripAdvisor’s Terms of Service.

I'm so disappointed in our experience with this awful establishment. I'm not asking for a refund, because we did use the time and played the game. I'm just confused as to why we had to share the room with strangers when we had enough people to meet the 4 person limit. I didn't appreciate being put in a room with people we didn't know and were not allowed to change our time to have us be by ourselves.

We are sorry for your frustration. The only way to guarantee a private room is to book the entire room which is stated when you make the reservation. A positive experience for our customers is our priority. Call us and we will be happy to make an adjustment.

Why in the world would you have a minimum of 4 players? Well, you lost a sale. I have been in escape rooms all over the world and I never heard that rule.
Written August 12, 2016
Sorry we were unable to accommodate you. We find that players that have not done an escape room have a much more enjoyable experience with four or more which is why we require a minimum of four.
