Let me preface this review by stating the obvious...I am an out of shape, middle aged woman who has extra weight. I am not athletic at all. Now that we have that disclaimer out of the way, let me tell you how this adventure started. I have been coming to PCB (Panama City Beach) since my second youngest was about 3. I am in love with the area..and some day Chris (who owns this business) is going to help me get into some property there because he is also an amazing realtor (and no, he didn't pay me to say this or ask me to...this is my unbiased opinion b/c he does each job well AND has an amazing heart for PCB and its residents). Anywho....I was looking for something new to try with my husband and our 2 youngest boys (11 &17). I have seen photos of people paddle boarding and thought...hey, that looks fun! Not sure I fully grasped what I was getting myself into. I decided I wanted to do the St. Andrews jetty/pier tour as advertised on the website. For my first time....on a paddle board...not being athletic...in the gulf...when it had been a red flag a day or two beforehand. Adding to that, St. Andrews was limiting capacity thanks to the 'rona. Chris agreed but as we got closer to the time he let me know that with the limited capacity there was a chance we wouldn't get in and would have to do a lake or springs tour. Yes, the springs look beautiful but I really wanted to see dolphins or sea turtles or rays or something AND I am NOT a lake person....I don't swim in them....so I said I'd rather risk it. Chris mentioned an option to start in a dune lake and transition to the gulf but I said no thanks. So, he obliged and offered another location that we could definitely get in the gulf at. Then I started watching the gulf...and realized I would have to get past the waves to get out to the calm part...me....the person who is NOT athletic and had never paddle boarded. I quickly wised up and agreed that the mostly calm dune lake sounded like the best option. And I am EVER SO GLAD I did! We had THE best time! I was able to get my sea legs about me in a few minutes and stand up on my paddle board. I joined my husband and boys who were already making their way across the lake with less effort than myself. Chris was patient and encouraging the entire time. He is very friendly and knowledgeable and makes it seem like you are just hanging out with an old friend. It was a bit of work but the dune lake is very clear and relatively calm. We saw some sea life on our way to the beach. My husband and older son decided they wanted to brave the waves in the gulf and try paddle boarding out there. The younger son and myself decided we were going to rest and enjoy the gulf and lake while we waited. After all, paddle boarding is a bit of work, especially if you are out of shape. Thanks to that rest, when we headed back I was the first one to the shore! I had a great time and felt empowered after successfully paddle boarding. If this middle aged overweight woman can do it, then you can too! I have this philosophy in life to support good businesses who do good things for others. And trust me when I say Chris Jennings (owner) & his wife are good people and they do great things for their community and for others in general. This is a business worth supporting and I will be back in the next year or two and WILL paddle board with Chris again!

This was our second trip with Chis to Cypress Springs! BEAUTIFUL! Such an amazing experience for the entire family! Chris is very responsive from scheduling up to the tour. He is great with beginners and the experienced. So informative about the Springs and wild life, you can truly see that he enjoys what he does everyday! Chris provides everything you will need on the tour, he also provides lunch while at Cypress Springs. We will schedule again on our next trip to Florida!

This trip was so much fun and an easy go. We had a group from teens to seniors and everyone had a great time. Chris was super easy to work with from the first contact. He was fast to respond and sent out all details ahead of our trip. He was funny and easy to talk with and very informative. The trip down Holmes Creek was really pretty. We saw some fish and some turtles in the sun. It was really neat to see the water color change from the murky Creek to the crystal clear spring. Cypress Springs was beautiful, and the water is chilly around 65 and felt good after the trip there. There is a rope swing also for the daring. Would definitely do this again and hire Chris to take us.

Not a man of many words and don't normally do "reviews". However, Chris was SUPER easy to work with, and he taught my teenagers and myself how to paddleboard quickly. Cypress Springs is an amazing experience. I only fell in once .... and I can't blame that on anyone else . Don't miss this opportunity if paddleboarding is on your list.

You will not regret taking this tour! No one in my group had ever tried the paddle boards before and we all loved it and will definitely be doing it again. Chris was so easy to work with in booking this and responded very promptly. He met us at the boat ramp and gave us tips on paddle boarding and helped us get into the water. He gave us some history of the springs along the way as well as taking pics and videoing so that we would have lasting memories. He brought along a cooler with sandwiches, fruit and drinks for lunch for us. Chris offers masks for snorkeling and will even give you his go pro to video. This is an awesome tour to do and Chris makes sure you enjoy yourself. Once we left the boat ramp on the boards we were gone approximately 3 hours. Give Chris a call or message him on Messenger to schedule your tour. You won't regret it!!
