Really, really beautiful cold spring. The guides were pretty laid back and do everything for you. Plenty of free time to explore once you get to the cold spring- and they provide towels, seats, waterproof cases for your phone, sandwiches (no chips to be found) and a drink. Also provided snorkeling gear (kinda freaked out that everyone was sharing with COVID) and the coolest underwater scooters. My 12 year old was in heaven. Awesome rope swings to jump off of high spots on the trees. Guides brought a snake over for the kids to check out and pointed out cool wildlife like turtles and birds. The website mentions no alligators but there were several spotted outside of the cold spring in the brackish waters.

Overall, excellent and fun adventure if you are wanting a break from the beach. Water was chilly but you get used to it. I’d recommend bringing your own snorkeling gear, drinks (they ran out) and snacks if you want more than a 6 inch sandwich.

We had such a wonderful experience at Cypress Spring with Coldwater Excursions. Our tour guide is Nick, Nick went above and beyond our expectations. We are a family of 5 included 5, 3 years old and 10 months old, but we totally enjoyed it. He provided life vests for everybody, picked us up, showed us how to paddle the canoe, explained about every little things and talked about the spring, and he always made sure that we were safe. My kids love Mr. Nick. Highly recommend, please don’t hesitate to book this tour. Thank you Coldwater excursions and thank you, Nick !

I went as a group of 8 and had an excellent time enjoying the very cool refreshing water with different activities to do. Our guide, Cody, gave us the most amazing experience communicating effectively, facts of the spring and surrounding area, and overall fun and welcoming personality to the beautiful spring. Definitely an experience worth experiencing and returning to in the future.

While we love the beach, we were looking for something off the beaten track and not your typical adventure at the beach. We found Coldwater Excursions. In short, it’s a short kayak trip up a river to crystal clear Cypress Spring with swimming and relaxing. However, it is SO much more than that. First, they pick you up at a mutual location. Josh was our driver and he was very friendly. He said to let him know if he was driving too aggressively but we loved it! He is a good driver and safe. He talked to my husband the whole way there and back and gave us a lot of ideas on where to eat and even a better way to get out of town when we leave. Our tour guide was Miles and was also fabulous. He provided some background on the area and nature while kayaking up the river. When they say you only have to bring sunglasses and your swimsuit, they weren’t lying. They provide lunch, a nice sub from Publix, chips and drinks. They also provide sunscreen, bug spray (wasn’t needed), beach towels and beach chairs. The scenery and the experience are above and beyond anything we expected. They also have someone taking pictures and they email the link to you two days later. We did not need our cell phones at all, in fact we left them in the car. Tip: Book the early trips, they are barely any people there for those trips and as it gets later in the day other people in different groups start to show up. If you are even on the fence about booking this, hop off it and BOOK IT! This was everyone favorite excursion during our trip. Also, our pictures are not filtered, it’s really that blue!

We had a great time with Ricky as our guide. We love to kayak and wish the kayaking part was longer, but the spring was beautiful and the kids loved the sea scooters and paddleboards. My son enjoyed the rope swing too. In June, it wasn’t quite hot enough out for the water as cold as it was. Two hours was a bit long to spend there considering we couldn’t stay in hardly due to it being freeeeezing. But we aren’t cold-loving people and the water temp was about 70. Lunch was good, and Ricky told a lot of jokes and was super funny. Next time we would want a longer paddle time exploring and shorter time at the spring, though. They said they’re looking into doing trips like that, and we would definitely use them again if that’s the case. We liked that there were only 3 other people aside from us so it wasn’t a crazy big group. Overall it was a great day.

Our extended family spent the morning on a Coldwater Excursion! This was one of the most memorable days of our 5 day vacation to Rosemary Beach. They include everything for an all inclusive day in one of the most beautiful springs I’ve ever seen. We all enjoyed the kayaking and the snorkeling, swimming, and sea scooters equipped with Go Pro cameras.
We enjoyed the swinging rope into the beautiful crystal water. Josh, our friendly van driver, met us and drove us to the Springs. Jason our guide, took care of ALL our needs with a smiles and kindness. They even provided lunch and drinks. This excursion should not be missed.

We scheduled an excursion for our family of 4(2 adults and 2 kids ages 10 and 7) on a tandem kayak. This was our first experience kayaking and it was awesome! Nick was an excellent guide - very encouraging and helpful with using the equipment and gave us info about the springs and what to expect during our time there. Our kids had a ball and the excursion was fun way beyond our expectations! Highly recommend!

Coldwater Excursions is the best business for kayaking for our Cypress Springs tour in PCB! Cody was energetic, encouraging, and so helpful for our trip. All of the guides always checked and supported everyone on the tour whether in the water, kayaking or just talking about places to eat, things to do and life in general! We have taken this tour for the last 3 years and it is always the most relaxing trip. They have everything ready and lunch provided! Sunscreen, bug spray, gear, and under water Sea Doo's. We will be back! Thanks for all that helped with my daughter that lost her cell phone when she got in the kayak! Impeccable customer service and caring people!

The whole day was fun. The best part was that everything was taken care of for us. The price was well worth it when you factor in everything was provided from waterproof phone bags to lunch. The water was definitely cold but felt good when it was 90 outside. Ricky was our guide and he was great! Very professional & personable. We can't wait to come back with our kids!

We had lots of fun. The water was not as blue as expected due to recent rains but still crystal clear around the spring. Kids had lots of fun snorkeling and jumping off the rope swing. Water is very cold. Kayaking was fun too and it was really relaxing and beautiful. They bring everything you need for the day…food, towels, chairs, snorkel gear, sunscreen, and drinks. I highly recommend this excursion, especially if you are looking for something different than a beach activity.
