This was a fantastic family time. The pirates take care of the kids and ask the parents to relax. The captain said that all pirates need to know how to use their weapon and that turned into a water gun fight. The boys took mops and swabbed the deck. There were cannon blasts, sword fighting and kids even fired the kid cannon. My boys had a wonderful time. Their favorite part of the boat was the dungeon. During our trip, we saw something in the water. It turned out to be two guys and a little boy on a float. They should not have been in the water because the beaches were under a riptide warning. Somehow they got too far away from the shore and caught up in the current. The Sea Dragon went over and tossed them a couple of life jackets and signaled a pontoon boat to pick them up. We stayed there until all three of them were safe on the boat. Then the kids went to the dungeon and read a treasure map and went on a treasure hunt. The treasure was found and the kids were able to choose a few items from the treasure chest. This was a fun adventure and I highly recommend you take your family on The Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise.

I took our 8 year old grandson on the Sea Dragon and we both had an amazing time! My grandson was a little nervous at first but the crew were fun and friendly and it didn’t take long for him to feel at home. The children all had their faces painted and given pirate hats. They had water gun fights, sword fights, swabbed the deck, shot cannons and pulled a treasure chest out of the ocean. The entire time the Captain was pointing out landmarks and giving a running commentary on the area. Very entertaining! They had food and drinks available to purchase for very reasonable prices. At the end the children all were given a special tattoo. I would highly recommend

It’s an actual 4.5. My grandkids love this cruise. The staff is great with kids. This was our 4th time to go. I normally give it a 5+. There were a few tweaks this time - towards the end they usually put the kids in a circle and sing and dance. This was omitted, so the kids were left with down time. Our girls missed this. Also, the “pirate” talking over the speaker made several “alcohol and drinking “?references, which created several questions on the way home from our oldest (whose 8). Younger kids probably paid no attention. But still the crew was awesome!

I really was so excited to find a dolphin cruise that catered to young children. My two and a half year old is special needs, and I thought this would be the absolute perfect little trip for him! Sure, the actors did a great job interacting with the kids, though mine wanted nothing to do with it... not at all their fault on that! What did ruin it for us was when one of the pirates made a comment about kids having all sorts of letters after their name now, and his examples were ADD, ADHD, and a couple of others. What would have been a really nice time was completely ruined by the ignorance of this individual who was supposed to cater to the kiddos. Also on board were two wonderful ladies who actually work with special needs kids, and were also very offended. We didn't choose this life for our child, but we are damn sure trying to make the best of it, and allow him to feel as normal as possible. So very hurt, and disappointed. All of the positive aspects were completely diminished after that happened.

We had a blast aboard the Sea Dragon from the moment we got on the ship to the moment we got back to shore. We were blown away by the activities prepared for the kids and how they were an integral part of the cruise experience. My daughter had a blast playing pirate during the water-gun battle, sword fight, swobbing the deck and she has yet to let us wash off her pirate tattoo! Highly recommend this to families with kids - so fun!!

We did this tonight and had a blast! I have a 5 yr old and 9 month old. Both had a great time. The interact with the kids so well it’s like a mini vacay for the parents. They have snacks on board but the kids will be to busy having fun. They have pirate merchandise to purchase and it is very reasonably priced. The food and alcohol was very reasonably priced. We loved it and would def do this again.

This was a last-minute addition to our vacation and ended up being one of the best, and most memorable tours we took. The pirate were phenomenal with the kids and based everything around ensuring they had a great time. It's not often you find a company which is filled with great customer-focused attitudes. Sea Dragon surpassed that from the beginning. Their attention to detail and child-centered activities are something the kids will talk about for years to come. Because of this, we will be booking with them every time we go on vacation, and the kids will be looking forward to seeing Shark Bait, Barracuda, Driftwood, and Mudshark! They were equally phenomenal.

Had the grandkids for a week. We took them on the Sea Dragon Pirate Cruise. It was so much fun! The Captain and Crew were great! They encouraged the parents to sit back and enjoy while they took over the kids! They shot cannons, had face painting and tattoos, swabbed the deck, had a sword fight, and water pistol fights! You could buy snacks and drinks aboard the ship! We watched dolphins surfing the wake of the ship! The highlight was when the pirates found treasure on the bottom of the sea!!! It was very entertaining but not scary for the young kids! Will be going again when grandkids come back in September!

The staff, captain and crew made this an excellent experience for young children and adult family. From the beginning children were engaged in activities that kept them interested the entire duration of the cruise. Adults could relax and enjoy the bar knowing the kids were entertained and safe. A multitude of dolphins were sighted and points of interest were highlighted. Definitely do this if you have kids/grands 10 and under!

If you do one thing in PCB, this is the one you should do. The crew was the hardest working, most fun loving group we've ever seen. They made sure every kid was entertained the WHOLE time (not a small feat). They made sure to include our visually impaired child in all of the activities. They were energetic the entire trip and kept activities flowing. I could not have planned or asked for a better experience for our whole family of 5 (kids age 12, 5, and 3).

How many people can or will be on the boat at one time? Like if I have tickets for 5:30 how many people will be on the boat? Is it crowded

We have reservations for Thursday and we are really excited. My daughter has Epilepsy (very well controlled with medicine) and is shy about participating in some group activities. I have read that the staff works well with kids, but wonder if it would be ok for me to tag along with her on the kids activities if she doesn’t feel comfortable. She usually does well as long as her brother is with her, but just wanted to see if this has been an issue for anyone?

The Pirate Cruise is a great cruise for children! The activities on the ship are designed for children 3 to 8 or 9 years old. Your 14 month old would be able to participate in any of the activities he/you would like. He may not be able to understand everything that's going on, like the pirate story, but he will enjoy getting the pirate treasure! We also go out to see the dolphins and have shade and air conditioning if you need to get out of the sun. We have hot dogs, chips and snacks, pepsi products, beer, wine and mixed drinks available on the ship.
