About
Kelley Girl Charters provides private fishing charters. We have two charter boats, Kelley Girl 52' and Lady Kelley 55'. Both boats are USCG inspected and able to carry up to 20 passengers. Each boat has a restroom, bunks, seating, and airconditioning. Our boats have the most up to date electronics so we are able to locate the fish. We offer trips with small groups of 1 to 6 passengers or groups with larger groups, not to exceed 20 passengers. We customize the trips to meet the needs of individuals, families, church groups, or company trips. We specialize in deep-sea fishing and trolling.

We thoroughly enjoyed our six hour fishing trip. We traveled with five teen boys and we were all blown away by the experience. We caught lots of fish and even hooked a shark! The air conditioned cabin allowed us to get breaks from the sun/heat and “recharge”, so to speak. There was an affordable fish cleaning station we were able to use when we got off the boat so we could take our fish back to cook. 14 thumbs up from our crew!

Amazing Trip worth every penny. We had so much fun! Caught 3 sharks and a ton of fish. The Captain and the deckhand were really nice and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better trip. If you are thinking about taking a fishing trip I highly recommend them. We are going again March of 2022!

What a great 1st experience Deep sea fishing for all! We had ages 14 and up. The charter was exciting and we were on the fish once the lines hit the water. No messing around. 6 /12 hours and 43lbs of fish. We will be back. Very professional and helpful for everyone....

Captain mike provided us with a very fun, safe, and professional experience. His deck hand was top notch taking care of everyone on the boat. If u like to catch the big ones than I recommend Kelly girl charters for your next trip. They will not disappoint. Plan to do this every year with Kelly girl charters. Thanks again

Kelley Girl Charters consists of two boats, the Lady Kelley (55 feet long - holds 20 anglers) and the Kelley Girl (45 feet long - holds 14 anglers). Captain Mark Kelley owns both boats and he scheduled us for the Kelley Girl, which was located at Captain Anderson's Marina on Panama City Beach. The Marina is easy to find and there is lots of available parking close to the boat.
The Kelley Girl was very clean, with A/C and a head in the relatively small cabin. There were two deck chairs on the lower deck outside but I was disappointed that we weren't allowed on the upper deck, which had a couple more chairs. We departed around 6:00 AM and trolled on the way out, catching a few Spanish Mackerel before leaving Saint Andrew Bay for the open sea. From there we made four short stops for bottom-fishing, catching Vermillion Snappers, Sea Bream, Red Snappers, and Triggerfish. Unfortunately, we had to throw back the latter two fish groups as they were "out of season." Most of the bottom-fishing stops were very short as the weather was often pretty bad during our trip, with bouts of heavy rain, lightening strikes, and occasional strong winds. The radio chatter among the other charter boats in our area said they spotted at least five water spouts, but we didn't see any. In spite of the lousy weather and short fishing time we still caught enough fish for a couple of good meals, so we were satisfied with that part of the trip.
What we didn't like as much was the unsociable crew (boat captain and deck hand). One of the main reasons we use charter boats to fish offshore instead of the less expensive "party" boats is for the social interaction with the crew; it usually makes the fishing trip more enjoyable. While our captain was polite on our initial arrival at the boat, he provided no information on boat fishing or safety procedures, and generally talked very little with us during our six hour trip. It appears our laconic captain also trained the deck hand as he was very similar in disposition. The deck hand gave short and rapid instructions on what he wanted us to do when trolling and bottom fishing and then said very little to us. On the positive side, the deck hand was responsive in taking off the fish we caught and was able to quickly fix tangled lines when they occurred.
All of us had been on charter boats before and had experienced the extra fun a friendly, outgoing crew adds to a fishing trip. The bottom line for us is we will seek out a different charter boat when we fish out of Panama City Beach again. While the Lady Kelley is a nice boat and the crew appears to be competent in their primary jobs, we wanted more out of this experience. However, if you're a seasoned fisherman who isn't interested in social interaction with the crew, then this may be the boat for you.

We had a great time on the Lady Kelley, Captain Mark is great and August is Awesome! 2nd trip with Kelley Girl Fishing Charters and will not be our last. Would have went again on our vacation but they were already booked. They have 2 boats and both are very spacious. We had 10 people this trip and plenty of room. Got on the fish and it was one after another caught. Best Time! So if you want to charter a boat this is it!

Mark and August have always worked hard to put us on the fish. We have fished 10-12 hours every time and have always brought over 200+ pounds of fish back to the dock.
this trip we had to hit several spots before we got on the keeper amberjacks, but we got our limit fast once we did. Once we moved to bottom fishing, August was re-baiting hooks faster than we wanted to real up the next fish. this guy works from start to finish to keep the fish coming over the side. When in PCB no one else that we would ever think of going out with.

For the $600 price it was not worth it! The captain had no personality what so ever. The deck hand was very accommodating and interacted great! This was our first visit to the gulf and we wanted to go fishing, I would definitely find a different boat to go out on. We caught a few fish, had more than a few snatched off the line by dolphins.

Wow is all my family could say about their recent fishing trip. Caught over 150lbs of fish!!
Every time they dropped their hook in the water, they were catching a fish
My son-n-law and a family friend have been on several deep sea fishing trips
They both said Kelley Girl is by FAR the best one they have ever been on
We will be booking again!!!
