We found flippers online searching for a private dolphin boat tour. The reviews were great so we figured we would give it a try. We booked a 3 hour trip with 3 adults and 2 children, ages 11 and 5. We hoped it would be a great trip considering the price of $68 per person.
Captain Dave was phenomenal! He was very helpful, energentic, and informative about the waters, marine life, scenic surroundings, and history. It truly was much more than a dolphin spotting trip. He instantly took us to where we spotted dolphins and let us hop in the water numerous times attempting to see them with our snorkel gear. We saw multiple pods of dolphins and he was always willing to steer the boat close for us to view them. Such a great experience to see them in their natural habitat.
Captain Dave also let us control the trip and asked what we would like to do several times. He reassured us we were his boss and what we wanted he would do.
We then went to snorkel the beautiful Jettie and swim with sea life. Next, he took us to shell island where we were able to enjoy the beach and shell hunting. We spent about an hour at each location, wrapping up the trip just before time was up.
We will certainly be back and requesting Captian Dave again.

Captain Jacob was absolutely great. We booked this through the coupon book that we grabbed for PCB. This was our first visit to PCB and I would absolutely book this trip again and recommend it to everyone. For the price that other people pay to be crowded on a big sightseeing boat, we paid the same (or even less) to have it just be our family and the captain. He was able to maneuver and get right up close to the dolphins. Also took us snorkeling and showed us the best spots to see fish. Water/snorkeling equipment were provided and he was knowledgeable, helpful and great with our kids. We absolutely recommend this company.

The staff were very professional and responsive. The weather was bad due to a tropical storm, and they were quite flexible. They said we could reschedule or refund, and they did not pressure us to make an early decision. They let us wait until the time of our appointment. With that reassurance, it all ended up working out. The skies cleared and we had a great time. The captain was patient and flexible, and he was great with the kids. The boat was clean and ran well. We saw dolphins, a giant sea turtle, and we snorkeled and saw a variety of sea life. Everything about the operation seemed clean, friendly, and professional.

My daughter and I went out with Captain Alex (whom I highly recommend) for the snorkeling, dolphin and Shell Island tour and we experienced and rare opportunity to have a dolphin not only swim up to my daughter but it actually let her touch it and then it wanted to hang around for a little bit with her and another young lady on our boat before swimming off. We also got to see a couple sharks and a stingray. Captain Alex was very knowledgeable and knew what to do and where to take us for our best experience. We will definitely book this excursion the next time we’re in PCB. Thanks Flippers for a great experience,

Although we did not have the in person experience with Dolphins we saw lot if dolphins very close to our boats and kids were really happy about. The boat ride to shell island was very entertaining and our boat captains were really great. Shell 8sland itself was great. The views were stunning and we went close to sunset so it added even more beauty, the island was completely empty at that time except for us so it added great experience if serenity and enjoyment and a feel of happiness to all of us. Thanks for the amazing tour

We booked the 2 our private tour at 3:30 for the 6 of us and it was definitely not enough time, but I booked at the last minute and it was all that was left. . The water was very rough due to all of the previous storms so it was really bouncy ( not the companies fault) Our captain did a good job of getting us out to the Gulf fast to see the dolphins despite the rough waters. It was way way to dangerous to get in the water with dolphins because the waves were so high the boats were all bouncing around alot....so we just watched the dolphins swim around and it was really beautiful. My husband and nephew started to get a bit queezy in the rough waters on such a small boat so the Captain took us right over to Shell island to get them on land before they got sick...LOL. We stayed about an hour at Shell Island snorkeling and looking for shells. This was by far the best photo op....no one else was there!! The ride back was also super rough because of the water conditions. I loved it though and my daughter squealed with delight every time we flew over a wave. But if you are not used to being in the open ocean on a small water craft book a bigger tour, even in the best conditions a small 6 person craft will bounce all over in the ocean so just keep that in mind. I think if we had the 3 hour tour it would have been the perfect amount of time. I had packed a cooler with snacks but like I said it was so bouncy and we were going so fast that there was not really any time to break that out. Just eat after, but bring water to sip on and stay hydrated.

Captain Khristopher’s sunset cruise/dolphin tour was truly everything we could have ask for. Before my husband past we alway love having experiences like this with our kids, but this was the best experience by far!!!!!!!!! The close encounters with the dolphins and the snorkeling were truly amazing. Captain Khristopher asked us what we wanted to spend the most time on and we said swimming or close encounters with the dolphins and he done his best to get us face to face and was success full. He knew so much about the dolphins and when we went snorkeling he insisted finding and showing us different marine life while we were snorkeling and made the experience amazing. Thank you Capt. Khristopher.

We had an amazing time doing the Swim with Dolphins tour with Stan. He went above and beyond to provide us with an amazing tour. We saw rays, turtles, sharks, and of course dolphins. He was so patient and kind with our four-year-old who got scared due to the goggles and didn't like jumping into the gulf. Stan went around the dolphin pod multiple times to make sure I had a great experience swimming with the dolphins. He personalized our tour to fit our needs and was so informative. I was really impressed with how calm he remained when a jet skier came in to the no wake zone too fast and he got him to stop after his waves knocked someone down and endangered a young family. The jet skier was rude and confrontational but Stan stayed calm. You can tell he really cares about this place and the safety of others. Kudos to Stan. I could not recommend this tour enough!

What a fun day! Alec created the perfect cruise for our group of many ages. He seemed to know exactly what we needed! He took us to a private island where we collected shells, snorkeled and found us a live starfish for the perfect selfie pics, and then out to find the dolphins, of course! It was the highlight of our trip, for sure. We will be back, Alec!!

My family came from Maine in April for some sun and fun in PCB and we got plenty of both. Our Flippers Dolphin Tour boat excursion was the highlight of their trip. Our young sea captain Christian was an excellent boatsman and guide, with topnotch skills, knowledge and personality. We appreciated the discounts given us and the opportunity to give my grandchildren an experience they will not forget. Thanks, Flippers! We will recommend you highly.

Im pretty sure I read somewhere that if they cancel your tour they will either refund or reschedule you.

Although the boat could fit more, the maximum is 6 people. Your captain is very flexible. He'll do whatever everyone wants to. We drove all around Shell Island, got out of the boat and had to walk through shallow water to reach the island. By the time we got there, we were limited on time. We did a 2 hr tour. I thought that would feel like a long time, but it went by SOOO quickly!

Dolphins are always living and swimming in the gulf around Panama City Beach....doesn't matter what time of year. You may or may not see them on the dolphin snorkel tour...just depends on their mood and how active they are that day...there is no guarantee but chances are good.

We are a family of 7, can we book the dolphin tour? Will we snorkel also. 2 of them have never been snorkeling. We range from 17-51 years of age.

The boat is plenty big for all 7 of you, snorkeling is included we brought our own but they provided goggles. Life jackets are also provided which was a big help to "swim" with the dolphins. I think your age range is perfect, honestly the water is pretty deep and the dolphins swim very fast it's a little intimidating especially for younger kids. We had such a great time we went back the next day and rented jet skis for an equally amazing time. I hope you and your family make many memories on your trip.

How far is this from Mir Mar Beach? What are the ages that can go on the snorkeling dolphin experience? I had knee replacement surgery in March, will I be able to get in the water and back on the boat? We have 14 in our group do you have a boat to accommodate us?

It's almost an hour from Miramar Beach. They have multiple boats, so we only booked the night before..wait to see what the weather is looking like. I think kids as young as 8 or 10 would be fine with some help. Definitely gonna struggle with the knee, getting out of the water onto the ladder of a rocking boat took some muscle...
