Aquatic Adventures has been serving the Panama City Beaches for decades and has exceptional experience in making your vacation memorable. Aquatic Adventures in Panama City Beach is located on the west coast of the State of Florida on the Gulf of Mexico. We have watersports for every level of thrill seeker, including banana boats pulled by jetskis. The banana boats are wonderful for hot days on the beach and a fun ride for the family. The jetski captain can give you a smooth ride if you want to just cruise around or they can speed things up for a more wild ride. It is up to you! Dolphin tours will delight your inner explorer as you come face to face with the ocean’s friendliest dolphins. A guide will teach you to swim with the dolphins and you can even go shelling if you are wanting to get some awesome shells. Parasailing is the next level of thrills, in which the Captains and Crew will make sure that your adventure is safe and exciting. Sail away in one of Aquatic Adventures sailboats off of Panama City Beaches that are available for rental or cruise around the water in a pontoon boat. Both are available for rent or for charter with one of our experienced captains. Wave runners are also available to rent and at reasonable prices. We booked a Jet Ski dolphin tour to Shell Island while staying in Panama City. My GF had never been no a Jet Ski so she wanted the experience. We were able to book from the beach stand in front of our resort (Wyndham on Front Beach Rd) which made it easy and convenient.
We met up with our guide (Brian?) at the marina and after some short paperwork, and lift vests fitting, we were on our way. The "tour" was just us on one jet-ski and the guide on the other, which was nice. We took the late afternoon tour (I think 4:30) so it was less crowded which I highly recommend.
On the way out of the marina, there is no wake, but you still move pretty decently. Once we got into the bay, we were able to open up and hit some waves from other boats, which was a ton of fun. The guide escorted us out to the inlet by the edge of Shell Island and we stopped to see some dolphins near one of the other ships. We were able to get pretty close and I got some decent photos.
After this we headed over to Shell Island, which was about a 10 minute ride. We parked the Jet Skis and got off for a little "excursion" ... the guide stayed with the Jet Skis while me and my GF explored the island. The island has very few shells, due to its popularity, but if you want a "private" beech, I highly recommend it. We took a nice romantic walk, stopped a few times to check out the "scenery" and even saw a small sting-ray in the water! In total we spent about 45 minutes on the island.
Once we were ready to head back, we found our guide, jumped on our skis and headed back. One thing that was nice was that he stopped and showed us some of the less known history and other places around the island (such as down town Panama City, not Panama City Beach), which was cool. We spent another 20-30 minutes "playing" in the bay on the jet-skis, then headed back.
Overall this was a great experience and a great value. I think we paid about $120 for a 2 hour ride with two people. Highly recommend!!

Went on the jet ski dolphin tour and it was our favorite part of the trip! Chase was a great tour guide who made sure we were safe and having fun at the same time. He was also a great photographer! Saw dolphins and explored shell island 🐬 highly recommend adding this to your vacation!

We rented a pontoon for our group of ten to cruise St. Andrews Bay and go to shell island. The pontoon provided enough room for everyone and was easy to operate. The dock staff were fun and friendly. Cruise by the floating live bait shop to get views of dolphins!Recommended activity.

We went on a dolphin trip with Captain Rob. It was an excellent experience. We saw and swam with dolphins. We snorkeled, saw see turtles and dove for sand dollars. He went out of him way to give us a great experience and we are very thankful. We will definitely return.

We did our second boat ride with Rob today. Our first being for our honeymoon almost 6 years ago. Today we got to take my 3 year old son and my parents and once again the experience was out of this world. Our honeymoon experience is one that I will never forget and I talk about frequently to this day. Rob is an outstanding captain that truly has a heart for showing people a good time. We saw tons of dolphins and had a blast at a completely deserted shell island. Will never come to Panama City WITHOUT visiting Rob for as long as I can!

Captain Rob was great! We scheduled as a surprise for our 7 year old for her birthday and brought along our one year old. I was a bit unsure how having such a small child on the tour would go but it was fantastic! Captain Rob was helpful with getting us all off and on the boat and gave us tips on where to look on the island when snorkeling. He took us to several places and we were able to see dolphins, manta ray, and turtles. Even surprised the birthday girl with a mermaid tail photo opportunity, which she loved! Loved the small crowd setting of this tour! Would definitely recommend Captain Rob!

This was the best experience I could ask for . First time to PCB and I loved it and renting a boat for the day was the perfect adventure for me and my family . We went to sea shell island and then we went fishing . We had a blast ! Everything was so beautiful, the people at the marina was so nice , just a wonderful experience!

10/10 recommend, was definitely worth the money! We got to swim with the dolphins in the ocean (remember they are still wild animals so it’s hard to get really close). My little niece loved it. We even stopped at a little island and collected some seashells. We also got some sand dollars we got to take home with us. Our captain was so nice and very kid friendly! Highly recommend.

We did a boat ride to see dolphins and sea turtles where we could jump in with the dolphins to see them underwater. Then we went to Shell Island for 40 minutes! Robert was a great captain and knew what he was doing! Great time on the water and everyone in the family would love to come back!

Captain rob made our experience so special! He was incredible nice!! We just came to Panama for a day trip and last minute decide to book the dolphin tour! I’ve never seen dolphins that close before it was unreal and such a beautiful experience and the view was unreal! We had so much fun, definitely will be back and bringing more people!!! Best tour ever we saw so many dolphins!

Did you have someone operating the Pontoon for you or do you operate the boat yourself?
Is there plenty to do to keep the kids busy if we opted for a full day?
Will they allow Tubing?

You drive the pontoon yourself.We think there is plenty to do if you go for a full day. If your family loves nature the full day is for you. We do not allow tubing. If you have any other questions please call us directly at 850-235-8051x2!

My son who is 18 has a valid drivers license, however, he left it at home. We had someone at home take a picture of it for us. Will he be able to drive one of the wave runners using the picture? Thank you.

I think they may allow it. They are good with working with the consumers. He will have to take the safety class (about 20 min). Call ahead to make sure that way you know what to expect.

We are going for my sisters 40th and my 50th have been looking for stuff to do but if you have been there maybe you might have some good advice. I had a family of 6 and we stayed at the origin hotel. It was a clean, friendly and great place to stay. It was very convenient to the things your looking for. I'll be staying there again the next time we book a trip. Good luck and hope you have a blast!
