If you've never been scuba diving our Discover Scuba Class is a great way to get introduced to the sport. We offer guided shore dives for certified divers. For the more adventurous spirits, our charters going the shipwrecks offshore are great for divers who want to see sights less traveled to.

Incredible Dive Experience with Top-Notch Staff

Super competent, knowledgeable and friendly captain and divemaster. Safety was clearly a priority, and staff did everything to make each dive great for all divers. The divemaster on my trip went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed to have the best dive possible, and she definitely succeeded. I had an incredible time exploring the wreck and the bridge span, and it was one of the best dive experiences I've had. I would recommend them to any diver looking for a stellar dive experience at a very reasonable price.

Dive classes

I did multiple dive classes. Ben Carpenter taught search and recovery. He was very knowledgeable, and thorough the classroom and dives. Very friendly. Walter Sweeney taught rescue diver, boat diver, navigation, and beach and shore diver. Walter is very knowledgeable instructor and willing to teach anyone and anything.

The boat diver class I got to dive the Black Bart and a bridge span. Only thing that could have made the dives better was warmer water. January water temperature 57 degrees.

If you are looking for a dive class or just a shop to dive with, I highly recommend Panama City Diving.

Open Water Dive Certification

My wife and two children aged 20 and 22 got open water certified and had the best experience possible. We set up the private classes in advance from California speaking with Ben who gave excellent feedback on the process for certification and provided me with a good degree of comfort that Panama City Diving would do a good job (I'm PADI certified for over 30 years with hundreds of hours logged).

Ben then handed the baton to my family's instructor and dive master, Baylee who is one of the most patient, knowledgable, and kind person anyone could ask for. My wife was nervous about the whole experience, but Baylee made it manageable, and even enjoyable for her from the pool to the checkout dive.

HIGHLY recommend Panama City Diving for any certification and advice.

Fun dives aboard the Steel Slinger

I went on an offshore dive trip with the pros at Panama City Diving aboard the Steel Slinger, a very comfortable Newton dive boat. Captain James and Divemaster Travis were very helpful during the trip and offered to make our experience the best in any way possible. We dived on the Twin Tugs and DuPont Span #1. Since both of these dives were 100 feet + at the bottom, Captain James and Travis advised all the divers to be safe and vigilent of their time and gas during their dives. Both dives were fantastic and the entire trip was just plain fun! Thank you to pros at Panama City Diving.

Great dive

Got to see some really cool stuff, Walter was a great instructor/guide. If you are traveling to Panama City and scuba dive or want to learn how to scuba dive this is the place to go. Everyone is very nice and helpful

Dive Trip On The Steel Slinger

I went diving on 3 July 2020 with some friends on the Steel Slinger, the official dive boat of Panama City Diving. We hit the Twin Tugs first and the Dupont Bridge Span Section 1 for our second dive. As usual, our Captain James Green, and Divemaster Travis Nye, were professional, helpful, and courteous hosts. The boat ran great, the seas and weather were all kind to us, and the conditions underwater were superb! Dive with Panama City Diving, they know how to run a safe and professional operation, you'll have a great time!

Awesome instructor!

I took a scuba refresher course since it was almost two years since I last dove. I worked with Ben, one on one and worked on skills I needed to improve. Ben was an awesome instructor. He was very patient with me, gave me great tips and just helped give my diving confidence a much needed boost. I highly recommend him as an instructor and PCD as a company to dive with.

Open water certification

My husband and I just finished up our Open Water Cert with Panama City diving and had such a great experience. Courtney was our instructor. Our first pool session gave me some major anxiety and we ended up coming back to complete it. Courtney was so patient and understanding! Highly recommend getting certified through Panama City diving!

Friendly, easing-going, safe, and fun!!

Had an amazing time! The entire crew was so friendly, helpful, and patient. They did a great job making sure we all felt comfortable and had a blast! Our dive master, Mayday, did a great job anchoring us in and informing us on underwater conditions. We went to 2 different wrecks, and they were both packed with fish! Our air tanks were all on the boat for us when we got there, which was super convenient. We went an hour before our scheduled dive time and quickly got fitted for the BCDs we were renting. Will definitely be coming back!

We were very disappointed by our dive, as our guides did not review the safety rules nor make a safety check, nor did they explain the diving plan. We were left to fend for ourselves. They were in a hurry instead of caring about their customers. This is unprofessional as they knew we had a beginner level and yet did not supervise us. They also allow people to take marine life out of the water which is very unethical. One could clearly see that they just wanted our money.
