Great place!

A lot of fun in the water on the bay side. Started walking across to the gulf side and came across a snake and turned right around. Never made it to the gulf side.

Access to the island was very easy. There was a bus ride to the dock and then a refreshing water taxi to the island. The people were very nice. The island was beautiful but getting to the Gulf side was miserable. The walk was long and extremely hot of course it was mid July! A drop off site on that... More

Shell island is an amazing place. It's a island with fine white sand and surrounded by clear turquoise water. There are no buildings and has been left in its natural state. It is visited by a lot of tourists. However, this is an island where you can have vast areas all to yourself. The island has shipwrecks and plenty of... More

My family took this little cruise over to shell island and rally enjoyed ourselves. The island itself has nothing on it other than an abandoned beach house, but we had fun looking for shells and walking the beach. As we were boarding the boat to head back, the boys spotted crabs. The Captain gave them a net to catch a... More

Going to shell island with captain Rob was wonderful, he is so informative about the land and sea and gave us the ultimate dolphin escape while helping up catch sand dollars, urchins and sea stars

Shell Island is without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places I've seen. The white powder sand & crystal clear blue water is even more beautiful than the beaches of Panama City.

Too many folks to suit my preferences. It was difficult to find a place to relax. There were too many boats and a lot of noise. I'm sure some would find it to be the cat's meow.

I have never taken the tour to shell island although I hear great things about it. I like to rent my own Pontoon boat and head there myself. You can stay longer and not feel rushed. Find a quiet area swim, look for shells and enjoy your own private island for a few hours or all day. Bring your fishing... More

Easy swimming and snorkeling. My 7 year old grandson saw many fish varieties and even some crabs while near the jetty. Beautiful beach too. Thaw the water taxi or a paid tour can stop there.

Tranquil best describes Shell Island. It can be busy during high season...so I am for off season so I feel I have the area to myself. Great shelling from here.
