We love Shell Island. We did snorkeling by the jetty and saw lots of fish. A little disappointed in not finding a lot of shells, but we didn’t go home empty handed. The water on the Gulf side of the island was beautiful.

Many people said they had a hard time finding shells, but our family of five brought home tons! You have to be willing to put on your goggles and dig in the sand in the shallow water to find them. We even brought home 4...More

Our favorite spot in Panama City Beach! The water is breathtaking. We spent all day here. The guys who run the boats back and forth are super nice and friendly! Can't wait to go back!

The calm water allowed the little ones a better opportunity to get into the water. Island is beautifully natural. Disappointed by not finding the shell stash I had hoped for, but a very enjoyable day. The big kids had fun diving to pick up shells.

The most beautiful water I have ever seen. That’s saying a lot considering I’ve been to the Caribbean. Also the staff was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful.

We went snorkeling here. It was amazing!! Would definitely do it again. Beautiful place to go. The water was super clear. Found lots of shells and starfish.

Crowded snorkeling, too many tourist boats. I felt like I was at a recreational lake instead of a remote island.

We rented our own pontoon. Parked in a shallow inlet at an area where there are old dock ruins. Skinniest part of the island, so our walk was only about 100 yards to get to the beach. Keep in mind, we had to anchor in the... More
