We booked after we arrived and were limited on which days were available. We had reminders sent by text of our reservation and confirmation which made things feel organized. We arrived early as explained in the reservation documents and were given a number by the employee in the ticket booth. The weather was great for our trip out, the sun shining and not overly hot. We were all excited, but a little concerned about the number of people waiting alongside us. Then we realized there were also people waiting with us for the other sea screamer tour which was departing right after ours. The boarding process was easy, the captain and his first mate very welcoming and friendly. Before you board there is also a photographer who takes a photo of your group you can purchase after you return. The trip out through the marina area was enjoyable and we well informed of surroundings by captain Garrett. He made jokes all along the way. He pulled us up next to a bait boat as we watched some birds trying to get bait. As we moved further out we had an encounter with the pirate themed ship as he made jokes about them. The captain made all sorts of references to St Andrews State Park and how affordable it was. We were on dolphins in no time. The view along the beach going towards the area close to the old Club LA Vela was neat to see. The guys on paramotors overhead was neat they were doing all sorts of maneuvers near the boat. The kids got to steer the boat for a while and there was plenty of time for it. At one point both sea screamer boats were together and the captains talking they fired off powder cannons towards one of the abandoned hotels and it echoed off and the sound was very neat. The kids got to participate in a water gun fight between the sea screamer boats. The captain and his help Bo were very good. Bo was serving up refreshments while also checking on passengers. Our daughter did not feel well, we believe maybe some motion sickness, the crew got her a dsmp towel and offered some peppermint oil to try to help her out. Overall very fun, glad we did it and totally worthwhile and a great value. We also found the price of the photos taken by the photographer to be a pretty good deal for the quality and compared to photos from other attractions.

This was the one of the best things our family did on our week long trip. The hosts on the boat were awesome and fun! We saw lots of dolphins. They serve refreshments on the boat for a reasonable price most waters and soft drinks were only a dollar. They also have snacks and alcoholic beverages. Restrooms are conveniently located on there as well. They did activities on the boat which my kids absolutely loved. They did a water gun fight with another boat, pulled up a crab trap to see what was caught, and gave out free dolphin tattoos. They also gave children a chance to "drive" the boat which our kids absolutely loved. We did the banana boats the previous day and for all 6 of us it was $180 for 30 minutes. This dolphin tour was around the same price for 6 of us and lasted over 2 hours. When in doubt choose the sea screamer tour it is fun for adults and children of all ages!

We have been going on the sunset cruise on the SeaScreamer every year since 2013. We love it. There hasn’t been a time that the crew wasn’t fantastic and if the ocean was rough they’ve taken us in the bay for a very informative tour. Our trip last night was no exception. We will be back again next year!!

We went several days after tropical storm Cristobol hit so the water was a bit rough. But they did amazing on positioning the ship in waves and telling us about all the stuff we passed. The first mate was great he made sure you were taken care even going around taking cell phone pics for everyone on the way. Highly recommend it to everyone.

My wife and I took the Sea Screamer Sunset Cruise. It was a wonderful and enjoyable trip. The weather for September was splendid and the waters were nice. We saw numerous dolphins that the Captain made special points to find and even have the swim and jump in the wake of the wave. The captain pointed out scenic areas of St Andrews Bay and other areas along Panama City Beach. Several different activities were added for fun with shooting a blank cannon and hearing echos, more dolphin sittings, letting kids take a turn at the Stern for driving the boat, pulling in a crab trap, and watching a gorgeous sunset. The boat played a variety of songs over the intercom to match the Gulf waters and beach areas.
Low price non-alcohol (and some Alcohol - Beer) and snacks to enjoy.
Great cruise and fun for all ages from kids to senior adults.

My wife and I took our two granddaughters, aged 8 and 10 on the early morning Dolphin Cruise. When I booked it on line, it was easy and I got great emails and texts from the Sea Screamer. Sometimes, you wonder what you are in for.
This was the BEST experience we could have imagined. The mate and captain were exceptionally polite, well groomed, and 1000% kid friendly and fun.
We enjoyed seeing many dolphins and seeing the children on the boat have such a great time. There was a water gun battle with another Sea Screamer and the children and adults roared with laughter. The captain gave ample warning for those that did not want to get soaked where to sit or stand (opposite site = Port side of the boat).
Each child that wanted a turn at driving the boats were welcomed to stand and steer next to the captain. 100% safe, fun, and rewarding. Great photo opportunities and unbelievable smiles and laughter. One gentleman had a birthday and he was invited to ''drive the boat.'' Fun for everyone on board.
On the way back into the dock, the captain stopped and the mate snagged a crab trap and emptied it into a large plastic bin of salt water. There, the mate help the crabs and he and the captain explained the identification of the male and female blue crabs. Also, there was a stone crab with eggs and the captain and mate again showed the difference before returning her to the water. Each child that wanted to got to touch and/or hold a blue crab. Excellent experiences all the way around.
The boat had soft drinks, snacks, beer, and rum punch available for purchase. No gouging here!! Soft drinks and snacks were $1 each and a bottle of beer was $3 and a rum punch $5.
Simply put, it was educational, fun, professional, and its value exceeded the cost. The boat was very comfortable, fast, and had approximately 3/4 of the chairs coved via a bright yellow canvass. Everything was clean, dried after the water gun battle, and very comfortable.
Note: Many patrons raised their hands as having been on the Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruise in the past. We will definitely be repeat customers!!

We did the sunset dolphin cruise for our family of 12 and we had a blast!! Not only was the weather perfect, but the school of dolphins were in full play mode. There are 2 boats that leave about the same time and have a little bit of interaction during the ride and one was where the ships line up and create a big wave that the dolphins love to jump in. It was amazing! The captain and crew were super friendly and explained some of the places and things along the way. They showed us crab fishing (and released them) that the kids got to touch and interact with. They had sodas, water, and rum punch the adults got to drink (take cash) and the prices were amazing! Overall, it was the best experience we had as a big family that whole week.

If you only do one thing while visiting PCB, you must do the Sea Screamer sunset cruise. The dolphin watching is second to none. Captain Cody is a first class host and you will receive top- shelf customer oriented treatment.
This was our 5th sunset cruise on the Sea Screamer and each experience keeps getting better.

We originally booked a daytime dolphin cruise which was cancelled due to rain. We thought our plan was ruined but nope! The staff called us and offered to move us to the sunset cruise at no additional charge. The ride was amazing, the crew men were above/beyond nice, drinks were delicious and the dolphins out on an excellent show! Well worth the price!!! Snacks provided at a reasonable price, thank you for not price-gouging with drinks/snacks!

My group booked this tour as we found it to be the most affordable boat ride we could find in PCB. We took the 10am tour. The crew was very immersive and planned lots of activities for the trip so it was not just sitting, watching, and listening to a tour guide talk. They do not mind if you get up to wander around while aboard which is also very nice. They let everyone be a part of all of their activities. Super laid back crew and still very friendly! This is perfect for families with young children. We got to see 3 dolphins jumping behind the boat, some manta rays swimming, and lots of fish. Definitely would recommend giving it a visit!

Is there a ramp to board the boat?
Written September 24, 2021
Yes there is a ramp. The crew helped an individual in a wheelchair board and then get back off when we returned. They were great!
