I have been on several fishing trips in Myrtle Beach and they don't even begin to compare to this one. Each time the Captain stopped the boat above a shoal of fish, we were catching them as fast as we could lower our lines. Chops and Joe (aka Billy Ray) are great deck hands. They took care of everything. You don't have to even touch the fish. I will go out with the again when we vacation in PCB.

We took a 10hr trip and they put us on the fish every stop we made. We limited out quick on amberjack and triggers. Caught some good Beeliner too. Deckhand was top notch, worked his tail off for us. We will be back and highly recommend this charter. Making memories was an awesome boat.

Capt Matt and Joe, helped my friend say her Good bye & RIP to her husband aboard The Makin’ Memories. Our sunset Celebration of Life Burial at Sea went spectacularly because of them. They even threw in a little Dolphin sighting. Amy helped set it up. Booking departure and arrival were without a hitch. Thank you for making this tough time a beautiful experience.

Best fishing charter I’ve done! It was and hour and a half ride each way and as soon as we started dropping lines people started catching fish. We caught vermillion snapper, trigger fish, porgi, etc. We’d sit in a spot for a few minutes and if people weren’t catching anything we’d move. Had a great time!

Let me begin by saying that I'm not one of the "entitled" folks who thinks because I pay, I should catch fish. What I paid for was a professional crew to attempt to put us on fish and attend to their jobs. Crew member stressed that fishermen were to hold rods, bait hooks, and reel in fish only...my problem was that of three deckhands, only one attended bait buckets and removed fish. Routinely ran out of bait with nobody on board catching keepers, and I finally just sat on the cooler in the bow to wait for a better bite, and discovered that one of the crew was fishing for himself on the opposite side of the boat. Nobody can guarantee fish, but anyone can give you their best effort and the "Family Tradition" didn't on July 27'th. I was positioned by the Captain's cabin where I could see the sonar, and we regularly drifted off the structure, what little action we were getting would cease, and didn't adjust position for long periods of time fishing an "empty" bottom. Three in my party and we caught two keepers total, and about a dozen overall. Not claiming to be an expert myself, but in my 50's, and been fishing freshwater my entire life...long enough to realize that not much effort was made for us to have a good trip.
