My grandson celebrated his seventh birthday at the center. What fun! There is plenty of room for children to run around and explore the exhibits, much of which is hands on. The parents all remarked they had no idea this was in Panama City and were planning a return trip. This was by far the best birthday party experience I... More

We had a fantastic time here with a 6yo and 3yo -- we spent almost 3 hours at the museum during our visit to Panama City. Admission is reasonable, and the exhibits are diverse. If you can, come for the live reptile demo on Thursdays at 3:30pm. The talk lasts a little over an hour, and it's free (with admission),... More

Took our 3 and 5 year old here because needed something to do and there was a groupon-4 ppl for 13 bucks. A lot of stuff was broken or missing you pieces. The nature walk had a part closed off too. A lot needs to be repaired, but for the groupon price it was worth it. The kids didn't mind... More

We walked here from hotel, and it was cute. There was plenty for the kids to do, and the price was right.

85% of exhibits are broken. Staff in museum uncaring, message to the guy feeding the snakes sorry to bother you next time we will go elsewhere. My son was looking at him feed the snakes he stopped left and slam the door??? Very dirty and in need of major renovations ceiling was leaking etc. save your money.

Spend a few hours letting the kids have hands on fun with science. You will see the fun factor go up as they interact with the experiments and hands on exhibits that are all over the place in two buildings plus outside.

I brought my 8 and 10 year old here for an hour or so of playing with the exhibits. Don't expect state of the art. What they have looks like it's quite old but still functions and conveys the concepts. My kids didn't mind at all. I suspect the center has limited funding and doing the best with what they... More

Smaller museum, a little older but still fun. They had a little toddler play area and reptile room my son loved. My daughter liked the little grocery store and spent forever buying pretend groceries, amd also loved the real airplane cockpit. Don't expect a big, well funded slick operation, but it was a great way to spend a morning. Pack... More

We visited and found it lacking. Half the exhibits were broken or falling apart. Would not recommend to anyone.

While visiting our family at Tyndall AFB, we wanted to take our two year old granddaughter to a children's museum. We found the Science & Discovery Center on the Internet and thought it would be a good outing. The museum has indoor and outdoor exhibits which is great if the weather is good. The indoor exhibits are a bit dated... More
