This is the perfect area to enjoy an evening stroll and enjoy the breezes coming off the water. There was plenty of free parking, as well. There are also some places to get some refreshments.

The Panama City Marina is a located in downtown Panama City and is a gorgeous water front view. The problem is the marina is caught in the middle of a political fight and has been left to fall apart. The boat slips in terrible shape...More

We walked around the Marina and looked at all the fishing boats. Sunshine and a nice breeze. It was a beautiful day!

Mostly a huge concrete dock with very few amenities. No seating, no shade, no snacks. Could be much much nicer.

Sightsee (3 Replies)
Hi, our family is visiting Panama City/Panama City Beach in the middle of September. Is there any place we should sightsee in Panama City or Panama City Beach? We currently are going to see Panama City Marina, Russell-Fields Pier, Pier Park, M.B Miller County Pier. Is there anywhere else that we should check out and sightsee while we are in Panama City or Panama City Beach? Thank you.

If you have kids - Wonder Works is really outstanding, for adults too, and one of the coolest buildings I have ever seen. There is a Ripley's across the street too. Gulf World is great, and not real expensive if you forgo the pictures. Shell Island and St Andrews State Park are great beach destinations. You can also take day trips to some of the springs north of PCB, and kayak or canoe or SUP. I am sure others have suggestions as well.

Boat Rental for Shell Island (0 Replies)
We are looking at renting a boat for a full day, but wanted to know if there is anything to do besides going to Shell Island? We know we will want to anchor and swim/snorkel, but are there any restaurants that are in bay/lagoon that we could take the boat to (St Andrew's Marina or Panama City Marina) with slips to park boat in? Any help would be great. I just know that having a full day on the boat in the sun, may take a lot out of everyone.
