Waupoos Estates Winery sits majestically on a gently sloping hillside overlooking Lake Ontario in beautiful Prince Edward County. The Winery offers an array of wines at the Tasting room, shopping in the Boutique and Dining in the full service Gazebo Restaurant. The first vineyards were planted in the mid 90's. The new vines were allowed time to mature. Proudly opening the doors to the public in 2001 with the first vintage.

Stopped in at the store and was unimpressed. Over priced and under staffed. We picked out a few items and had to wait quite a while. Seemed that the candy area till was moving quicker so we went over there only to be told that...More

My partner and I were in the area, for the first time ever, to celebrate our anniversary. We had a few vineyards on our agenda and stopped by Waupoos. We had hoped for lunch and went back to the restaurant to ask for a table....More

A few years ago we visited Waupoos. We had fond memories of a good meal and a lovely location. Today's experience was all the more disappointing. The restaurant has a very limited menu. The only choice for me was a grilled cheese sandwich and smoked...More

The menu has changed. They have removed the nice salads they used to have. The Hamburger was very good. The pulled pork poutine was not. I had discussed this with the server. We may return for wine but skip lunch.

We stopped in here to purchase some wine and decided to stay for dinner and lucked out with getting a table by the window with a perfect view of the lake. The food was incredible. A month later and we are still talking about the...More

We stopped by here for lunch with 15 family members - they were very accommodating given how busy they were! Amazing view of the lake - and a very good lunch paired with delicious cider made on site.

Enjoyed the 4-sample tasting. Bought 2 different wines we would not have experienced elsewhere - Vidal Fumee was particularly interesting. We will be saving it to enjoy with a freshly roasted chicken. The winery is in a beautiful lakeside location and is perfectly set up...More

We called a few days ahead and booked for lunch at their restaurant. We were so disappointed with the menu, apparently they had just changed it, the starters did not include any type of salad...I think their specialty is smoking food, but that's really an...More

We've been stopping here for wine for years. It's one of the oldest wineries in the county and one of the few that sells wine at reasonable prices. Many of the other wineries in the county sell overpriced "emperors new clothes" wines unfortunately. Some of...More
