Captain Steve at Chummy Charters was a great guide for a boat of amateurs on a half day in-shore trip. Our group ranged from 7yrs to over 70 and he was helpful to all. He set up our 7yr old with a bobber and cast for her. When she caught a puffer fish he held it so she could hear it grunt and touch it as it puffed up. He made her feel comfortable and even teased a bit. Captain Steve baited all hooks and would cast for those who had a hard time. We caught 9 different types of fish including keepers of sheepshead, trout and pompano. We reeled in quite a few gag grouper. Unfortunately none were big enough to keep. When we returned to the dock he cleaned the fish we did keep and bagged them for us so we would know the different types. All of us agreed we would go out with him again. Thank you Captain Steve and Chummy Charters.

Captain Steve and Chummy Charters did a fantastic job! A trip with them is definitely worth consideration. The whole family had a blast considering that not all of us knew how to fish. Nonetheless, Captain Steve was helpful and engaging with the whole family offering tips and tricks to catch the perfect fish! We ended up taking 7 different fish home for dinner all of which is thanks to Captain Steve. If you're around the area, look up Captain Steve and Chummy Charters! You won't regret it.

Went out on a clear calm day. With weather conditions that captain Steve said were the best of the year. After a smooth ride taking in the surrounding beauty of the area from the captain's dock, to the area he had chosen to fish, we were on the fish in moments from anchoring. The fishing was excellent from sun up to sun down. A must have experience for novice/professional fishermen. #Chummy charters...Rocks
