I have had the fortunate opportunity to visit Seychelles Spa while enjoying my winter on the Florida Gulf Coast. I have been warmly welcomed by a talented and friendly staff. My haircuts are perfect and done with the Alicia precision. Sonia has the art of gel manicures down to perfection. I arrived with aching joints. Lora has alleviated joint issues with her massage. Terra has given me the best facial ever!! I am so lucky to have learned about Seychelles and am grateful to Caroline for her high standards and talented staff. I am dreading leaving these service behind when I go north for the spring, summer and fall. I only wish that I had thr means to fly back for a week at Seychelles. If you haven't been, book an appointment soon. You will not be disappointed in what you experience when you go through the door. I consider Seychelles the areas best kept secret!!

The massage and the facial were very good and very professional. Go for the 90 minute treatments. My sister had hair cut, color and mani/pedi. Lovely to have it all in the same place.

We tried again at Seychelle. I sent my husband to this shop for a 'men's cut and style' that the website says costs $15. I checked it multiple times. Website said "men's cut and style' is $15. Bottom line, he was charged $25!!! He also left a $3 tip. Although he asked at the desk, If the cost was $15 and they simply said, 'no, it was $25." NO EXPLANATION. When I (finally) called after the second time, and asked to talk to Carolyn, the owner, I must say she was very 'tepid.' Not friendly. Just sort of, yes, and she was going to have to talk to people ad look in to it. Finally she determined that, 'we have "master' cutters" and other cutters. Apparently the other cutters prices are on the website but when you go in with a $3 coupon you are given to a 'Master" cutter that charges almost double.
I think this shop should examine it's policies and what it says on its website. It isn't totally honest. Why would you give a customer that comes in with at $3 per highlight COUPON to a Master cutter who doesn't DO $3 highlights??? And why would you NOT try to do SOMETHING for someone who has paid top dollar even tho they obviously were not in to pay top dollar when they call you and complain. I just don't understand. I probably would not have used any discount she might have given me, but it would have been a NICE gesture. She only called to complain to me when I left an HONEST review on her website after our conversation.

I had an unusual start here. I wanted to purchase a Living Social deal t hear and they didn't have any left. So called them and asked them about it. I set an appt with Lenee. She turned out to be fantastic. She did a great job on a pedicure and then did my fingernails and sold me a bottle of cuticle oil that has been a real help for my nails. Then, I answered a coupon ad for $3 highlights. However, somehow, that turned in to a haircut and highlight that cost me a whopping $110 (and tip) Well, the cut was one of the best I'd ever had with Lisa. So I rescheduled a cut with Lisa for $45. I LOVE the cut. It is to die for. However. I have a question to this spa. Why does it say hair cuts cost $40+ and high/lowlights cost $55+ . I want to know what constitutes me being charged $45 for the cut and $65 for the highlights. I just do not understand this differential. Please explain. Thanks!
