I take my kids here all the time. Plenty of swings and slides for the kids. Great trails to walk and amazing views. I suggest it to everyone.

Nice park with paved trails, several docks to see the water, and a tower that once finished will have a great view. (Prior one was burned down by vandals).

We were visiting the primate sanctuary just up the road and happened upon this park. Knowing we were close to the water, I wanted to stop to check out the park. It was definitely interesting. The park has shelters available to reserve, facilities, and a playground. There was plenty of parking and lots of trails. It is easily accessible from... More

This is a great place to bring the kids or come by yourself to walk in nature. There are plenty of places to fish from the piers and I like to come here to do some yoga while looking over the ocean. The bathroom facilities are good and there is plenty of parking. I saw plenty of wildlife on y... More

This little county park off Alt 19 between Alderman and Klosterman roads is an awesome place for walking, picnicking, relaxing and letting the kids burn off some steam. Abundance of parking. Paved walking trails. The spring. Docks out into the intercoastal. Observation Tower(now under construction). Large playground for the kids. Picnic shelters. Very well maintained. Right next to Pinellas Trail.... More

I ride 15-20 miles along the Pinellas Bike Trail several times a week and always stop for a break at one of the piers on the bayou. It's a peaceful place to enjoy the sun, breezes, scenery, and wildlife. I love birds, and blue, green, and white herons abound, along with anhingas, ibis, egrets, ospreys, redheads, and even the occasional... More

We love this park! The shaded playgrounds are nice, there are lots of picnic shelters throughout the park, a bridge that is popular for feeding birds (if you don't mind getting pooped on!) and nice wide paved trails for biking or walking.
