Had a very enjoyable light dinner here. I had the house salad, my husband the fish of the day and we shared a cheese plate. Good cheese selection. English, Swiss, French, American to name a few. All were very good. Nice wine selection. The solo singer was enjoyable and did not drown us out!!! Cool but not cold evening. All... More

They only keep making this place better and better every year. Great new seating options and it was nice to have the option of going into the small building to listen to music when it was cold one night. Friendly staff. We had chicken meatballs and crab cakes which were very good. Of course, we always go for the cheese... More

We had our company holiday party at this little gem, and it was a great time. The atmosphere was fabulous, as was the service. Beverages were wonderful, and the various snacks were delicious. Big fan of the lobster bisque. Overall wonderful!

My husband and I stopped by one afternoon to sit and relax for awhile. We each had two beers and soup and the bill was almost $50. with the tip. Not worth it.

Great experience. Interesting wines to try, stuff to look at, and buy. Snacked midday on crackers and amazing shrimp and crab dip. Made fresh and hot. Will definitely come back.

Tucked away in Hammock is a little roadside wine and cheese shop where locals gather on Friday nights. Although not QUITE a restaurant, (no dinner or menus), it is a perfect happy hour place after work to sip wine, craft beers, nibble cheeses and listen to local musicians. To me, that's a meal. BUT one must know HOW to do... More

The Shoppe has been cleaned up and brightened up and re-supplied. The improvements seem ongoing. And the fresh fish available out back is fresh and local - not what you can get in the local stores and restaurants. A bit pricey but worth it if you're a discerning fish buyer. I understand they have frequent events there and do some... More

At one time, this was an excellent place to have a glass of wine and some cheese and let the traffic go on my for a bit. Now, it has gone thru a succession of owners and each time, it dies a little more. The latest iteration is in partnership with a seafood vendor who is selling small volume, little... More

We stopped by Saturday evening. They were pouring tastes of a Spanish White, a Spanish Garnacha and a French Rose. Decided to buy a bottle of Pinot Noir to share with my wife as my buddy picked up a beer. Too bad they only supply plastic to drink from outside. We sat at a table outside facing A1A. We were...
