Twelve of our family members had an incredible trip on the Dolphin Dream. We ranged in ages from 12 to 81. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive. Spending a week on a Dive boat was something I had never done before, Captain Scott and his crew members were so accommodating. The first day was a little rough going through the Channels. However, it was so worth it. Our family went swimming with the dolphins , up close and personal , they swam with the sharks, they saw sea life they had never seen before. In fact ,4 members of our family who had never gone scuba diving before felt so confident in the crew they went diving as well as snorkeling. We were concerned that the 5 teenagers were going to have a problem not having WiFi or internet. Not at all they were so busy reading, playing games, snorkeling, diving , watching movies, star gazing, and yes, sleeping that not once did the complain about not having any.
The meals were outstanding! All meals are buffet style. A cold breakfast is put out at around 7 am consisting of breads, bagels, cereals, nova, cheeses and jams . At 8am out comes the bacon, eggs, egg dishes . Lunch is a mini dinner, Ranging from soup, to salads to meat dishes, For dinner there was always an outstanding salad, with added touches like avocado, or olives along with roasted lamb or flank steak or corned beef and cabbage and boiled potatoes or pasta , lasagna etc.. There is always fresh fruit ( peaches, oranges apples and bananas. Snacks are also plentiful.
Our family made some awesome memories this trip and it was all due to The Dream Team Thank you again, Capt. Scott, David, Jake and Josh.

I first met Captain Scott and Dolphin Dream Team December 1999. My sister and I spent the 2000 New Year swimming with magical wild dolphins with the professional guidance and care of Captain Scott. I have since returned to Dolphin Dream annually for 20 years (missed a couple years during Covid). My younger son proposed to his now wife of many years on one amazing trip interacting with these phenomenal denizens of the sea. My annual trips feed my soul, and I wouldn’t dream of going with any other company.
Unforgettable dolphin encounters, plenty of food (food preferences/allergies etc are always addressed), freedom to move about the many decks of Dolphin Dream, laughter and safe travels whether dead calm or a little stormy. I have always felt safe and have made lifelong friends with some of the other passengers. Never more than 12 guests with 4 or 5 crew. Yes, we share 2 spotless bathrooms with plenty of hot shower water. (There is also a hot shower on the main deck). But everyone has always been courteous and kind. Big galley for delicious meals, but I always eat outside at the picnic table on the back deck. Almost every passenger returns year after year to experience these special Dolphin moments. Eye-to-eye contact, swimming in the pod, accepted as a friend by wild dolphins—what can I say? Looking forward to next year for my 21st trip with Captain Scott and The Dream Team!

We just returned from a week with Capt. Scott and his crew aboard the Dolphin Dream. I am still swooning from this magical experience. I’m in awe of the intimate and exciting moments we spent swimming with the spotted dolphins—it was more than I could have hoped for! The numerous dolphin encounters were made even more special by the unique connection that the crew members and Capt. Scott have with the dolphins. It was amazing to see how the dolphins flocked to the boat!
We felt so well cared for by the crew, which contributed to our sense complete relaxation. I highly recommend leaving the world behind and immersing yourself in a Dolphin Dream Team experience.

This is my absolute favorite trip for interactions with friendly wild dolphins. Captain Scott Smith has spent many years interacting with these wild dolphins and he knows them and their habits better than anyone. He loves and respects these animals. We swim with the dolphins when they want to (which is most of the time) and we leave them alone when they need to rest. It is not unusual to have a day where you spend hours in the water with the dolphins.
I took my first trip on the Dolphin Dream sixteen years ago and I have gone back every year since then. The boat is comfortable and stable, and the crew has always been wonderful. In addition, they always provide more food, snacks and drinks than any human can eat. I will continue to go back every single year for as long as I am able.
I have been on many many whale trips where we got short encounters with restricted numbers of people in the water. With the dolphins we have long encounters and everyone is allowed in the water together because the dolphins love the interactions. We get so much close eye to eye contact with these dolphins and through the years I have come to recognize different individual dolphins.
The Dolphin Dream takes 12 passengers on each week long trip. This trip is for people who love swimming in the ocean and want to be on a boat for a week. You will not be setting foot on land the entire time. The Dolphin Dream boat is comfortable, stable and safe. The Captain and crew are experienced and responsible.

Maximum of 12 passengers, homely meals, bunk bed cabin. It's a simple, non-fancy cruise for those who are happy to meet only the beautiful sea and dolphins (and/or sharks) without a casino or champagne.

An unbelievable experience! We did this as a family vacation for a special celebration and it was a magical and transformative experience. There was way more dolphin swimming than any of us had imagined. One interaction was 3 hours long! These dolphins really do love to play with humans - it is pretty surreal. We also did a few discovery dives on beautiful reefs, and with reef sharks! For about half of the family it was the first experience with diving. The other half were already certified. Everybody had a blast, and we got to spend a good amount of time shallow-water diving at beautiful reefs.
The Dream Team are warm, fun, and professional. They were great with the teens and the adults, and spending some time getting to know these guys was another highlight of the trip for all of us.
The food was plentiful and way beyond expectations!

If you want a liveaboard experience to dive with hammerheads and tiger sharks, there is no better boat than the Dolphin Dream and Captain Scott. When you are on his boat, you are treated like family. All the crew is wonderful and very experienced in all safety protocols. The food is delicious and it is plentiful and healthful. The snacks are also top notch. All I have to say is go because Dreams really do come true.

I signed up for a dolphin snorkeling trip leaving May 16th. He cancelled the trip and I requested my $700 deposit back. Scott told me per my contract this was An Act of God and he did not need to refund my money. I told him I never received a contract.
He then referenced an email he sent me 15 days after I paid my deposit showing his cancellation policy. It did not reference An Act of God and did not reference if he cancelled the trip.
I tried to get him to voluntary return the money but instead he sent me a nasty voice mail including "it’s plain and simple no refunds for cancellations within 90 days it doesn’t specify how it cancels" and "nobody is going to care about $700" and "screw yourself".
I was not going to let him steal my money so I filed a claim with PayPal. I also filed a complaint with Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody's office which you can do online by searching and make the complaint versus:

Honestly I will give them a 100 out of 5 stars. They deserve 100 stars. I loved the boat, dives and crew. Rhett lent me his GoPro when I lost mine at sea. Awesome dude. Jake and Christian were equally at Awesome. The Captain was Amazing as well. Very kind and just Wonderful. Gail is an Amazing cook. Food was EXCELLENT!!! LOVED this trip would recommend it. Stop what you are doing and go NOW!!!😃😃👍👍

We selected the dolphin, dream team scuba shark diving charters due to recommendations from a friend. We found out that this company provides the absolute best diving support and shark interaction delivery compared to any other operator in the Bimini and Bahamas area.
The accommodations were comfortable and modest, the prepared meals on a nine day charter were absolutely perfect to sustain energy, and to provide tasty meals, that the best aspect of the trip was the support provided by the Dive team, and Captain, in finding the best locations, and allowing us to have up to five days a day, depending on weather conditions.
Providing service for only six pairs or 12 people total, the dive sites were incredibly accommodating and provided, intimate, inch away, encounters with sizable and impressive sharks, including hammerheads, tigers, lemons, nurse, and a variety of other marine species. The onboard compressor was designed to refill a tank very quickly between dives, and we spent a great deal of time between 30 and 50 feet with a super visibility and great interactions
This is definitely an outfitter that we will use again, if we ever plan on diving in this region again. If you’re looking for a genuine, sincere, and professional operation, you need to check out the dolphin dream team!
