What could be more special than a elderly tree, one of a kind? Whether I am speed past on my bike or walking the trail, you must stop and marvel at this magnificent gift of nature.

Amazing tree and root system
Feb 2021
But lately it has been cordoned off, you can still see it but cannot longer get too close to it, which is good for the tree.

A Majestic Exotic Tree
Feb 2021
What a majestic exotic specimen. I learnt that it is over 186 years old. Quite an extra-ordinary sight situated on the pleasant grounds of the Royal Poinciana Chapel. Pleased to know that Church is committed to preserving and protecting this tree for future enjoyment. The root structure is impressive.

The is a beautiful tree. The Lake Trail it is on is very nice as well. The Flagler Museum is worth a look as well even if only from the outside.

Enormous

This beautiful specimen is unbelievable. The roots growing up and over the ground and how they also mold around creating small coves. Beautiful backdrop for pictures.

WORTH THE VISIT
Jan 2020 • Solo
I love to visit this tree. It is in the back garden of the Royal Poincietta Chapel. It is best visible from the Lake trail. It is probably the oldest and certainly the most magnificent tree in Palm Beach. While there, take the time to walk the trail of visit the Flagler Museum next door.

Extraordinary!!
Jan 2020 • Couples
This tree was incredibly extraordinary to see. It is enormous. It is a shame you can’t get closer to get pictures inside of the different routes. It appears that people have desecrated the tree by making carvings into it which is very disappointing. It’s in pristine condition in the area around it is gorgeous. Highly recommend!
