Has a nice boardwalk and trail, you can take your time or run the trail. There are animals if the children going through are quite and don't scare them away :). The creek is nice to view there are gators and manatee, turtles at the right time of year. Great for quick nature day. There is a nature center. Lots... More

There is a free nature trail that takes one through several Florida coastal environments with explanatory signs. There is also a building with rest rooms, a drinking fountain, and interpretive displays. This is a hidden jewel just behind the Palm Bay civic center and adjacent to the library.

A great place to get close to nature. T he boardwalk is a great place to walk. There is an exercise trail with stations for specific exercises that work specific muscle groups. The visitors center has plenty of information on local plants and animals. Wild animals can be seen in various spots in the sanctuary.

Love Turkey Creek! My family visits here often. We enjoy walking on the boardwalks and trails and every time we visit, we see wildlife.

The sanctuary was very Florida-native with lots of paths and hidey-holes for animals, but we went in July and the heat was horrible. With all the trees it's hard to get a breeze. A few of the paths overlook the water and we saw a manatee eating! This is fun for outdoor-types, but my 7-year-old got bored after 15 minutes... More

We love this place and go often. If you are lucky you can see manatees, we actually saw one kind of get out of the water a bit to eat some of the grass on the side of the creek. It can be noisy if kids are there screaming but the walk ways are elevated and there are 2 loops... More

This is probably one of the nicest local walking trails they have natural trails and wooden walkways that take you down along the river where you may see manatees or even alligators. You will also see all sorts of flowers and birds in the Upland

Lots of different paths to take leading toward the creek. Lots of wildlife to see. Nice places to look out over the water.
