The murals made the drive through downtown even better. It really added a lot to the culture. Palatka has a nice booming downtown area and these just add an artsy/cultured feel.

By all means pick up a brochure about the murals and any of the visitor's centers or many downtown businesses and take an enjoyable walk or drive.

Though I haven't had time to see them all, the ones I've seen are wonderful. Every time I drive by one it reminds me of how clever people can be. An beautiful idea to enliven an old city. Bravo!

What a colorful addition to historic buildings in Palatka. Pick up a mural map guide and drive by all the murals. Stop driving and walk by your favorite murals. You will learn Palatka history and as you gaze at the beautiful murals.

Its true most hotels have maps. You also can go to Mapquest and print the areas your interested in. For a actual view Google Earth Pro can show you aerial and street view and you can print them if you wish.
