This place is WONDERFUL! The perfect combination of independence and helpfulness. The owner is there if you need him full of ideas and helpful tips but he allows you to create your own masterpiece. Not like other pottery places where you can only paint what they have...here you can make it yourself from the ball of clay up. He also offers specials every month and is usually open in the mornings and evenings and on weekends. Great for all ages 5 - 85 and any size group up to 30 people ...YOU MUST GO!!

We got a gift certificate for Cup O Pottery for Christmas and finally made time to use it.
We had the best time, Terry was very helpful and friendly as were the rest of the potters there. I made a slab butter dish. the results, too soon to tell. Would I go back?

My sister offered me two hours with a groupon. Had no idea what to expect. You are given a lump of clay and allsorts of cookie cutters, textures,and looking around, you create. It is later fired and you pick it up. You know your piece is ready by viewing it on their facebook page.
Great idea for adults, kids, groups.
There are also people who use this workshop regularly.

The concept is a good one, but the color choices are very limited to just a few choices and that you don't get to actually get to paint it yourself was very disappointing. When I was finally able to pick it up, took about 3 1/2 weeks to get it back, I was very unhappy with my bowl. It looked unfinished, there were several areas on my bowl that just looked like nothing was done, even though I was told it was microwave & oven proof, I made it as a decorative piece. The owner seems in such a rush both in person and on the phone so I was not happy with my end result. It would of normally cost $40.00, but got a groupon deal for $20.00. which is very expensive for what you get. I will not go back or recommend this to anyone.

I went this past weekend with my daughter and Mother and a few other friends and this place is great! I got a Amazon Local deal and couldn't have have been happier. The owner was fantastic, gave great instructions and was always there to answer questions. He let us know that they do have special weekends around the holidays that we are all interested in. What a great way to spend the afternoon! We are all excited to go back!

I walked into the studio one day and stayed for a whole course. Thanks to Tracy, the owner who helped me to learn the clay making process. Its fun, therapeutic & affordable. I am planning to go back again and start restart my sojourn. Its a wonderful, casual and welcoming place. A gem in Oviedo. Plus the clay is all dishwasher & microwave safe , so its been fun gifting them to my friends and family.

I brought my 1-1/2 year old in one day just to see what it was all about and ended up making a bowl. The owner set up my daughter with her own table and let her go to town with her clay, paint and cookie cutters. He was such a help I brought her back on mother's day for our free mugs. She really enjoyed getting hands on, and I truly appreciated the help.

I can't say enough good things about Cup O' Pottery! Fun and friendly environment and an owner who makes it fun to learn. Nothing better than laughing with new friends and playing with clay! I came in several times a week during the year I lived in Florida and I haven't found anyplace like it since!
Awesome date night options, fun family events and a great place to experiment and have fun!
HIGHLY recommend!!! If you have any interest in creating pottery, stop by and check it out...you won't regret it!!

I've been coming to Cup O Pottery for over a year now. A great place to chill, make pots. Tracy is a great instructor, the classes are fun and the atmosphere is always friendly and inviting. Making pottery is a wonderful creative outlet and I just love being here.

Cup o pottery is a unique and amazing studio where one time students mix with advanced open studio and introductory level students creating a melting pot of ideas and creativity. I've been a part of the pottery family since August 2012 and it is the best outlet I've found for creating.
All tools and glazes are provided all you need to do is pick a class and pay, extra clay can be purchased at the studio if you need it.
