My over twenty year old Super Black Eagle "locked up" while shooting sporting clays last Saturday,so on Monday,I was front and center with their gunsmith.
I never got his name, but his "ID"number on the receipt was #98,and I was very much impressed with both his attitude, and competence!
It took him about an hour to correct the problem, and I'm very grateful that he did.
I'm a snowbird from Northern Michigan, and don't bring a lot of guns with me,and I shoot several times a week when I'm down here in the winter,so having a dependable place to get my supplies and service is critically important.
The Florida Gun Exchange is the place to go for all of your shooting needs, with competitive prices, and they're tops in courtesy and service.

I was amused reading the one negative review. That gentleman made a valid point and his comments were based on his true experience. I give the store four stars based on what I experienced. When you walk inside this place, the product offerings are greater than any other gun store I visited. Everything is clean and well organized, so you can easily navigate around to find what you want. I used to have an FFL license, so I know my guns as a true aficianado. This is a high volume business and they are there to make money first and foremost. Their prices are very competitive and sometimes lower than smaller shops, so it is an ideal place to go when you know exactly what you want. The sales staff is generally knowledgeable and can assist most customers, but don't forget they are not total experts and the pay levels reflect that. Plus they don't make money by swapping gun stories for hours with you.

Amazing place!! Everyone is extremely helpful. No high powered sales push. Have been here multiple times now and each visit we have received excellent customer service. If you are looking for a top notch place with an AMAZING INVENTORY you want to check this store out! Thank you FGE!!!

I was picking up my silencer for my AK-47 Veper, I brought the rifle in the PB-1 is just a little diffrent and I wanted some reassurance I was doing it right, the sales person had no idea how to thread the can, he then call over the gun smith he stated he had one and I stated how do you like it no answer he didn't like it and would not recommend it no positive feedback at all, he then stated I would need an adapter this was not true, I also asked about putting a rod through the can and just see if their could be a baffle strike he stated a waist of time. Very poor attitude and customer service. I shop at Schwab tactical in Debary Fl they went through the process.
Last thing I would not recommend Florida gun exchange fancy show room little knowledge.

I was at bike week this year, picked up a red dot sight. Got home opened the package to find a used sight with missing parts, contacted Florida Gun Exchange through their website. They never replied. I had to contact Holosun to receive missing parts.

Horrible customer service, seems like no management actually exists at this place. Spend most the time waiting for help. This is a churn and burn place they are better at the $500 firearm than the $5000.

I bought thousands of dollars in this store. Never again. The store staff was rude to the point of me wanting to snatch them over the counter. I am a very layed back person so you can only imagine how rude and snarky they were. i have spent several thousand dollars on firearms and ammunition since then. Their loss.

One of the best first dealerships I’ve ever visited! Outstanding variety and selection. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Bob was fantastic! He was patient as we looked at several firearms. He answered all of our questions and made us feel very much at home.

I feel a little awkward writing a review about something I know nothing about. But, I'll relay my husbands thoughts on FGE. He thought the staff was very well informed and knowledgeable on what he needed to know. The layout made it easy to find what you were looking for. He really enjoyed visiting the store.

After giving this gun store several chance and even purchasing over $5000 in firearms, accessories, and ammunition I will never shop here again.
Not only do I feel as though 80% of the staff treat me, the customer and consumer, in a condescending fashion but they are not educated in current conditions of several topics discussed or in professional forms of conversation and salesmanship.
While purchasing a handgun I noticed an error on my part when filling out the form in regard to my Social Security Number, one of the most important parts of this document. When bringing it to attention of the salesmen and mentioning I would fill another out and pay the extra $5 for another background check the salesperson respond as, “well it cleared so (and shrugs).” And continued to sell me my handgun.
On another visit giving them a second chance as one bad apple shouldn’t ruin the batch, I was fully prepared to purchase an armalite rifle with over $2000 in my pocket cash and my CWP in hand. As I discussed with the salesperson what rifle I was looking for, as I do an enormous amount of research before purchasing, I asked about two models and if they would have one of the two in stock since one was only currently available. The salesmen responded that the company has been shut down and he wasn’t even sure if they will ever re-open, the company being Sig Sauer and I personally knew that the information given was almost entirely false already gave me a distrusting feeling about this salesmen. He never offered to show me a rifle or remove one from the wall while talking. Another gentlemen walks up the salesmen immediately switches attention to him asks if he can sell him a rifle points one out and offers to show it to him right away. It was textbook profiling and stereotyping. When the gentlemen customer responded that he was merely browsing the salesmen went for the hard sell anyways and continued to ignore me. I scoffed and left the building purchasing only a $14.99 box of ammo instead of spending over $2000 on a firearm and accessories to go with it. The floor manager was quick to apologies but the damage was already done. I proceeded to go to Top Gun where they not only had the right information about the same company and products but sold me my firearm in glorious fashion.
I decided to go to Florida Gun Exchange today to buy ammunition, and yet again the same salesmen is working, and again I get a condescending tone and comments when I as the consumer only came in with respect and intent to purchase.
I will never shop in this location again and advise against anyone even considering doing business or purchasing from them. I know it’s busy, I know it’s Covid and we are all tired of it, but it’s your job, I do mine with pride and treat others with respect the least your employees can do is give me the same.
I’m pretty sure the first mistake is a huge legal issue as anyone could give false information it seams and get away with it.
When I go to purchase anything with the knowledge that I have I am met with, “Are you old enough to shoot a gun young man.” Instead of a modicum of respect. And to the salesmen that said that to me as I was purchasing ammunition today at 1:10 pm, there is no age limit or restriction on operating firearms only on purchasing and owning one and since you had my information in front of you as you asked what was the point of identifying my age or making such a petty comment. Again what a glorified example of how un-intelligent they are while treating their customers poorly.
I gave them one star because they in fact carry guns and ammo so they are doing SOMETHING right.
