I found Al Weeks Park on a TRIP ADVISOR search. My wife and I were looking for a quiet beach for an afternoon in the sun. We were generally impressed by the park and beach. Paved parking is just off the highway with easy stairs access down to the beach... The park is well maintained and clean. There is a... More

They tore down an old restaurant and made a beautiful park. It is a great place for surfing, swimming and fishing. There is even a place across the street that has surfing, paddle boards etc. They also have fishing supplies . It is a great place to watch the sunrise. They have showers and very clean rest rooms.

We stopped here and used the picnic tables to eat our take out pizza. The area was clean and had an awesome view. The metal surfboards make for a great picture opportunity. The bathrooms seemed to be really clean as well.

This park is somewhat on the small side but has everything you need to have fun and be safe. The lifeguard tower is also located here. The park is named after a beloved citizen who is no longer with us. He,along with his mother helped make Ormond By the Sea a premier tourist destination. We miss you AL and Minnie.

This used to be an empty lot with a torn down building. The city came along and transformed it into a little gem. There is enough parking spots and it is a great place to watch sunrise or the Dolphins.

Nice beach, life guard satellite office there also. It has bathrooms and shower and foot wash area. Parking is limited right at beach, but there is additional parking across the street. Across street is a store to rent kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Surfers, fishermen, and families frequent this nice spot.

A small, but adequate beach access or to stop to take a peek at the mood of the ocean.Volusia County takes great care of the restrooms.

Not only is this beautiful beach vast and expansive, it has been amazingly private the times we have gone. I expected a beautiful beach like that with good parking and restrooms to be crowded but there were only a few others there. It might have been the time of day (9:30 am - 11:30) or the month (May), I am... More
