Wonderful massage (Michael)! Would highly recommend. Fun for groups! The experience was very nice and clean in a COVID environment! Well done!

My nearly 9 year old daughter has been wanting to have her nails done for a while. As we were on holiday here, I treated her. We booked an appointment for a polish only which cost $20. We were escorted into a room to wait. Ten minutes post-our appointment time, someone finally came. No apology for the lateness. The person doing my daughter’s nails barely spoke except to issue an instruction (choose a polish colour, put your hands on here etc.) other than a brief comment about it being a popular colour to choose. There was no effort to chat with my daughter or put her at ease. My daughter had at least one nail which had an uneven edge. This was not filed, even though it would have taken but a minute, presumably as this was not what we had ‘ordered’. No cuticle attention of course, even those hers could have done with it, presumably for same reason. The layers of Opi polish etc. took 3 minutes then she was advised to put her hands on the dryer things for a few minutes then that would be fine. That was it. She walked off and left. Other staff were professional-ish (as had she been I guess) but very unsmiling. The whole experience ($20 for 3 minutes active work = $400 per hour equivalent, even if it did include overheads, materials etc.) left a bad taste in my mouth. One of the nails had not been done adequately, it had a drip on it, but I had no desire to stay there any longer so we left. An apparently glamorous salon (I was non-plussed) does not mean that good customer service with warmth of manner and putting people at ease should be lacking.

Do yourself a favor and indulge in their signature pedicure! Mine was with Jaqui (Jackie?) and I HIGHLY recommend her! I'm pretty sure it was the best pedicure (definitely best leg massage) I've ever had!

I was disappointed with Marilyn Monroe Spa. I have stayed in many great resorts that had spas yet this was really just a salon that happened to offer massage. There was a restroom and lounge area to wait for the massage service. Other than that you won't find a sauna, steam or whirlpool. My massage was ok, but nothing to brag about. They should really expand this facility and make it worthy of the visitors attention. I would not return unless I was in desperate need of a hair appointment for a blow out or styling for special occasion.

Had the BEST blowout ever by a fabulous male stylist. So bummed I forgot his name, but there's only one guy. HE'S PHENOMENAL and I've had blowouts in LA, Beverly Hills, etc. Worth the cost if you need to look great. Didn't experience the rest of the spa, but it didn't live up to my foo-foo standards, so I didn't pursue those treatments. Overall, a very cheesy theme, but then again...it is Orlando. If you want fancy and overpriced treatments try the Waldorf. But seriously....get your hair done here. You will NOT regret it. Had the top 3 blowout of my life. Maybe #1!
