Fantastic for the Kids
Mar 2020
So our daughter was about five and a half when we visit. It was good time, but she did get a little scared when it came time to fight Kylo Ren and Darth Vader. for kids just a year or two older, I think it would be great experience. For kids in that 8-10 year age range, this would probably be an amazing experience for them. The cast is super patient and helpful and definitely gives extra attention to children that are scared or need help.

Kids love it.
May 2019
My kids keep wanting to do it every time. It takes about an hour, but for the adults - the best part is the photopass downloads. The photographer is excellent and makes sure to get plenty of shots of just your kids - you will easily get 20+ high quality usable photo's from this. Furthermore the viewability and the audio quality makes for a perfect cell phone video opportunity. You can probably even get your gopro in there on a tripod and get an awesome addition to your home video collection.

Do it!!!

Sign up on entry to the park, then while the time away until your slot. Then have a great time! Come away a proud trainee Jedi! My youngest was worried about fighting Darth or Kylo so didn’t do it, the older one was chuffed to get their badge of honour.

Sign up right away!

You have to go right away to sign up early in the morning since this is so worth it. The kids loved dressing up in jedi clothes. Facing off vs Kylo or Darth is pretty amazing. My kids could not stop talking about how fun it was!

Best memory of our whole trip
Dec 2018 • Family
My 5 year old daughter isn't into princesses at all. This was all she was looking forward to doing. My 8 year old son decided he didn't want to but my daughter still did. She was the only girl up there fighting Darth Vader and it was awesome. They take a small group of kids, then split them in 2 lines. 1 line is fighting Kylo Ren the other line fights Darth Vader. I highly suggest signing up ASAP in the morning for more available time slots. The signup is around the corner from Hollywood and Vine restaurant. This was an amazing experience and the pictures and video I have from this memory I'll forever cherish.

DO THIS!!!!!!
Nov 2018 • Family
SO we aren't huge Star Wars fans and I did not think this was something we would do and was not in our plans. We watched a group being led throgh the park to their trianing and my son decided to try it. We were lucky enough to get a sport for him after dinner and I think this may have been a highlight of my trip. My son semeed to have so much fun and think we will bcome fans of Star Wars now...starting the series soon. So well done, so well organized, the cast memebers were outrageously trained and so ghoo dwiththe kids. Such a great memory for my son! Just do this...you won't regret it.

Fun!

Our kids loved this experience! Took time to wait in line to sign up when the park opened and we didn't realize the kids needed to be with us. But definitely go there first thing to guarantee getting signed up. The actual experience was fun for the kids but no ahade from the sun. A slight technical issue when the door opened up for the dark side villans to come on stage but overall a fun time for all. Souvenir pin for the kids was a nice memento.

If your child is between 4-12 when you get in the park run as fast as you can to the Indiana Jones adventure outpost and get them signed up for this! They get a Jedi robe. March through the park and then are taught light sabre techniques by Jedi masters Death Vader and kylo ren appear and the group get to take one of them on individually An awesome experience that every parent and adult was generally jealous of as it was so much fun Tip: don’t rely on the photographers to capture your child. Make sure you have your phone/camera handy as there are a lot of children & they move round quite a bit so might not catch them

Fight the Dark Side
Apr 2018 • Family
My 3 boys (8, 6 & 6) had the opportunity to train to become Jedi twice on our trip to Hollywood Studios. The first time they fought Darth Vader and the second time they fought Kylo Ren. Both times they had a great experiences - they loved getting their Jedi outfits and lightsabers. Their trainers were great and provided some great ad lib moments (for example there was an older boy who was clearly not interested in participating, after he reluctantly battled Vader, the trainer said "such enthusiasm" to the audience's delight). I also loved that there were as many girls as boys training to become Jedi!

Absolute MUST for kiddies.... but get in early!
May 2017 • Family
This was a highlight for our two children who are avid star wars fans. But to be in with a chance to get a place on this, you need to be in the park as it opens. Get onto it, and the kids will love it. Really love how the staff encourage children of all ages and abilities to take part (inc those in wheelchairs). Well done disney.
