We were lucky enough to have one of the owners give us a tour today- It was marvelous! Fun, entertaining and informative. I was surprised at how personal and interesting it was for all ages. Even my husband and daughter, who are not that fond of chocolate, enjoyed the tour. Of course the chocolate we got to taste was amazing !
Thank you so much 😊

It was a tour, about chocolate-- how could it be bad?! My husband and I loved it. It was funny and quirky and we learned some interesting facts about chocolate. We tasted some samples and created a customized candy bar. We bought some chocolate candy souveniers to take home to family. Everyone was happy! My husband really liked the chocolate soda.

It was a fun and educational tour of chocolate and the process of how it becomes chocolate to us. Our tour guide was awesome. Samples along the way! It was a fun thing to do when the weather was not the best!

Honestly, I love chocolate and we were just looking to kill some time before our flight out of town. We went here based on tripadvisor review--WRONG!! Although our tour guide was very nice, it was hardly a "tour"--it's a cheesy cartoon, then a short video, then you go into one room where the same info is repeated that you just saw and you get one cocoa nut to chew. Then you go into another room with another TINY sample, then you go into another room to drink what the Aztecs had made, then you shoot marshmallows at a large fake dragon and get a chocolate covered marshmallow. Then you finally go into the fifth and final area, where the machines are, and you get a small sample of dark, milk, and white chocolate. If you pay another $6 (on top of the tour which already cost you $16 each), you can have the people make your own custom candy bar.
Now I would like to make it clear that the chocolate at this establishment is VERY good! Not denying that! But to pay nearly $17 to walk through five little rooms and get so little is really a ridiculous waste of money. Now, if I had small children with me, like my grandkids, I think they would have enjoyed it. I would say AVOID the tour and just go purchase some expensive chocolate because it is very tasty! SKIP the "tour" unless you have kids under 12 otherwise you will be embarrassed and your teenagers will think its a punishment. Although it was ridiculously overpriced, I don't begrudge our spending of the money for this small business, just because its a small business and I wish them good luck but NO this is NOT entertaining in the least. Teens and older don't waste your time seriously.

We bought tickets on Groupon because the reviews looked fine enough but were really disappointed. The "museum" is basically a store front with a few homemade displays and a cheesy video, and the tour is very unsophisticated and offers no more information than you could find after a quick Wikipedia search. One of the low points of the "tour" consisted of guests shooting stale marshmallows from an air gun into a display dragon mouth like a carnival. A couple of the staff members were nice but the rest were pretty curt. Most annoying was at the end when we were asked if we wanted custom-made candy bars with ingredients of our choosing. We were grossed out when they melted down another company's chocolate bars and then just added other ingredients that were sitting out and let it all solidify. And they charge you for the bar at a huge mark-up. Complete waste of time and money.

Hello Ashley, It's interesting how Groupon gives you a place to write reviews but yet you went on Yelp and TripAdvisor to write the same negative review and didn't write anything on the Groupon App. Seems to us that there's something else that happened during your experience to make you want to write such a review (when you can see that we mostly receive 4 and 5 stars - and have a 4.85 star average on Groupon). We are reaching out to you to see what really happened and see what we can do to remedy it. Since we don't have your information, please write to us at info@chocolatekingdom.com so that we may try to make it right. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Please do not confuse Chocolate Kingdom, "an interactive journey" with the World of Chocolate Museum and Café. I didn't go to the later. This review is for the former. Calling this $16.95 "tour" an interactive journey is as interactive as you are grocery shopping. And "make your own personalized chocolate" is and ADDITIONAL charge.
The 45 minute tour is 30 minutes of watching a movie, 10 minutes walking thru sets, and 5 minutes of interaction.

Hello, Thank you for coming to Chocolate Kingdom. We don't want other readers to get incorrect information from you, so we want to set the story straight. The initial video is 9 minutes long, the rest of the tour is about 35-45 minutes long which include 4 videos (the storyline) that last 4 minutes total, a 5 minute interactive activity, samplings of cocoa bean at different stages and the tour guide explaining the agriculture process to grow cocoa trees, the history behind this amazing food and what it takes to make chocolate from the bean with real working machines.

Tucked away from the main road on international drive, you could easily miss this place.

The tour was interesting, and Robert was a great guide, even if he did appear to be on a sugar high!

The tour lasts about an hour, but a good part of that includes watching a screen that gives some chocolate trivia as well as advertising the place.

The only negative for me was that on a tour of only adults, I would prefer a less child oriented presentation. That's only me though - I guess the whole point is to bring out your inner child!

There's not much point saying much about the tour itself, it's best to go and see for yourself.

Price is not too bad at $16.95 and if you pay $6 more, you can decorate a chocolate bar to keep.

They also do wine and chocolate pairings.

Hello Gareth, Thank you for coming to Chocolate Kingdom. We appreciate it. Just to be clear, the chocolate trivia is done before the start of the tour to entertain guests before the tour guide comes into the room... the same way they do in a movie theaters before the start of the featured film.... It adds to the entire experience of having fun before, during and after the tour! We hope to see you again in the future.

The tour was fun for all ages but definitely aimed towards children. I’m 21 and still enjoyed myself. It’s definitely cheesy, but very fun and interactive. Taste testing along the tour, super energetic tour guide. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to kill some time in Orlando. The tour is pretty cheap, coupons can be found. I did two different chocolate shop tours in Orlando and this one was definitely better. The chocolates in the shop itself l wasn’t as impressed with.

So my friends and I went here today so excited to do the Tour. Upon arrival, the guy behind the counter said, "You don't want to.do the Tour. Unless you have small kids, you wont.find it interesting. It's just about the history of chocoloate for 45 minutes." Really???
We were speechless.
So sadly, we didn't get the Tour but I did take pics..

In common with other reviewers, I was disappointed.

The location is nondescript from the outside, and I was hoping for a large selection of confectionery inside. Instead, the range of chocolates is very limited, and rather overpriced.

It's nice that there's an attraction closer to the International Drive hotels than most, but I was hoping for more. Roald Dahl would be disappointed.
