I purchased the Groupon tickets for my mom, sister and myself and I was not sure what to expect as the last time I went to see a male review was back in the early 90's in NYC. We paid the additional $10 each to have seats as my mom and sis cannot stand so long. It was the first time my mom and sister ever went to a male revue. While the seating did not impress me (folding chairs), we were pleased by the dancers - nice looking, very fit and danced well. I was happy they gave attention to my mom and seeing my mom blush was priceless.

Currently Rock Hard Revue has two shows, one in Tampa and their main one in Orlando. I'm reviewing the Orlando one.
Our squad has been coming to this show since 2013. The show is always what you make of it; you can just watch and not be in the action if you want, participate a bit if you'd like, or YOLO and have your friends take blackmail pics of you!
Sometimes they dance with LED stuff, sometimes there's water involved, breakdancing, military costumes, suits (ugh, my fave), bathroom towels (yeah, exactly what that sounds like), blue collar job outfits, country gear...they aim to please lol. At first I'm like "I'm not allowed to like this stuff this much, people will stare" and then a couple drinks in I'm like "Oh who cares, there have to be SOME perks for adulting, WOOOO!"
There are a few different priced levels of seating, and there are two stories of seating too.
General admission means you'll be standing at a bar in the very back.
Preferred seating are sardine squished chairs lined up in aisles to a wedding.
Premiere booths are at the side of the stage, which is good for one big group, but it makes it difficult for the men to get over to you without pole vaulting over walls.
Sky boxes are on the second level and are good if you want a private area, don't want the men to come up there, and you want to hoof it down in your stilettos for 10 minutes to get to the stage.
Our favorite is the VIP tables, which are the lowest price tables, but they are not for shy customers! VIP tables let you skip the general admission line, get a pic for everyone with the men before the show and meet them (don't worry, none of them are grabby/rude, they're all really polite and warm personalities), and admission to Gilt nightclub after the show unless there's a special event going on at the nightclub.
What we do since we usually have 10-15 women going is have one person lay out the money for the tables and the rest of us pay them back via paypal. Then you'll all sit together, have good seats, have somewhere to put your drinky drink, and get the most attention.
If there's more than 5 of us we opt to get the $200 bottle service because you get a nice champagne as well as a name brand vodka, which is too much for 5 women normally but for more than 5 it's nice. Also there are not many cocktail servers, so if you drink fast or are impatient, bottle service might be better for you.
Bring your broken bills from your local bank, and if you want the dancers to come on over to you later, have the money sitting out on your lap or table. They don't want to bother customers that don't want contact, but they're not psychic either and it's dark in there, so help them out with understanding that you would like attention. Or you can be like me, that horrible woman that makes it rain during a feature dance so we can all laugh AND they'll remember you.
They sell raffle tickets before the show starts for various things like feature dances (you on stage with the dancers while they do a set), door prizes, and other stuff that I was too drunk to remember to write down.
Feature dances are $40, I don't remember if you got to pick which dancer or not.
They have a shirt feature (literally the shirt off the dancer's back) for $40 and you can get pics at the end of the show for $10.
They did a feature for $10 where all of them were there lined up with chairs and you assembly lined down for a quick dance. The $40 dance is a complete song.
Also, I know dresses are cute on Pinterest for stepping out to the night with and all, but if you want a dance from the dancers, dresses make dancers feel awkward because if you have your legs pinned together they can't get as close to you as most of us would like, and if your legs are apart well you're in a dress, so that's awkward for everyone. If you like having lap dances then dress in nice dressy shorts or pants so it's less stressful on everyone involved in the dance.
It is a bit of a drive from the attractions area, but we take a rideshare type fare service and it's around $30-50 (depending on how fancy of a car you select). If you have 5 people going that's not bad to split the fare amongst you. There really isn't anything in the attractions area that's like this show, so if you're from a town that doesn't have this type of show regularly available, it's a good time and worth the drive.
If you're here on business, the charge slip comes out as Gilt nightclub, not Rock Hard Revue. So you know, easier to do write offs and whatever!
Around the club area there's an Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Pollo Tropical (see my review on that if you're not from Florida), Steak n' Shake, Taco Bell, and Boston Market if you want to eat before or after the show. Not all of those places are open after 9:30, but some are. Most women leave the show tanked so a food run is usually called for...so there's the info on that!
Have a good time, and if you go as a result of this review, please tell them my name since I'm a regular there so they know they have feedback on Tripadvisor.

This was my first time going to a "male dance show," and let me tell you- AMAZING. The guys are good looking and the dances are fantastic. I went with a group of friends for 2 birthdays and we all had a blast! Make sure to bring lots of money- you'll want to get some lap dances!

Amazing male revue in Orlando. The RockHard guys are hot, hot, hot, and the production is top-notch. Highly recommend for a bachelorette party, or night on the town!

My friends and I recently attended this show and had an excellent time however, two of the three of us had never been to this type of a show before and didn't know what to expect as a result, even though we are in our mid to late 40s. What I mean by that is from the moment you get there to the time you leave they want, and quite frankly expect, money from you. The three of us got in on a Groupon deal which was great however, they didn't tell you that sitting down was an extra fee of $10 each. The $10 fee can only be paid in cash and you get no receipt. When I asked if they took a credit card or offered a receipt they looked at me like I was crazy. Why is that so unheard of?? We were lucky we arrived early and were able to get good seats as a result but there were a great many unhappy ladies there who didn't. We purchased drinks which of course are expensive but my problem with them is that they weren't full. My friend got a Coca-Cola that was only half full and in a small cup, which I've shared a picture of. The extra seats of which there were probably close to 100, are very cheap folding chairs that if you moved around you felt like you were going to fall or the seat would break. We needed to have extra cash to give to the dancers as well as for raffles which we weren't told about in advance. I was glad that I had some cash on me however my friends don't carry cash. We still had a great evening and of course will know for next time but it isn't clear to me how it is that they expect us to have this information in advance when nobody has told us. The ladies outside the establishment before the show need to be replaced or need to be talked to. They need to be more respectful to their customers. But for those rude ladies I would've given them five stars.

Thank you so much for the review and feedback. We are always looking for ways to improve the experience.
The Groupon tickets are a discounted General Admission ticket which is admission to the show but does not come with a confirmed seat. The seats that are offered up for $10 are inventory that did not pre sell and are typically $35. We do take credit cards at the door but we are in the middle of migrating ticket systems and it was not set up that night.
I completely understand and see how you were not properly informed about how the show works. Unfortunately the verbiage allowed on Groupon vouchers is limited. Our website has full explanations of the entire night and even has a FAQ's page.
As for the drinks, Rock Hard Revue is not affiliated in any way with Gilt Nightclub. Therefore we have no control of anything bar related.
I do appreciate the feedback about our front door staff and I will personally handle this myself.
I would like to extend an offer for you and your friends to come back and enjoy the show at our VIP tables, compliments of Rock Hard Revue. Please let me know how else I can gain your business back and create a top notch experience for you and your friends.

Such a fun night without breaking the bank. (Hint: usually Groupon has tickets for sale). The show last about 2 hours and it is quite entertaining. The men really interact with the auidence (of course they want tip) but nonetheless they make sure everyone is having a good time. The drinks are normal price for Orlando. One catch: When you buy a ticket that is for standing room. They upcharge for a seat, however, standing gives you a better view of the stage anyway. Caution: you may get your bum lightly spanked by men in passing but don't worry, you will get to return the favor. ;)

I found out from my matron of honor that she purchased a on stage pass for me for my bachelorette. I know your website says no shorts, for me being on stage though can I wear shorts? I just didn’t know if that was an exception or would it be preferable to wear a dress and have shorts underneath. Thank you so much!
