It took a while but I finally got a chance to see this show. Perfomance-wise, they did not disappoint; there was a lot of humor which was surprising, and the music was great. Both adults and children will have a good laugh. You have the option of sitting in the splash zone which is right up front, which allows you to get wet while they play around with paint (you get ponchos to wear), but it is really not necessary for the performance.

A couple things to note: the show had a lot of flashing lights, so folks with epileptic health issues should do their research before going, and the music is very loud. Finally, this show seems over priced. Can't imagine paying that price again for less than 100 minutes of entertainment.

Family of 5 with high school and college aged kids. Great experience literally from start to finish. The ticket office staff (Allie) were awesome and the performers came out after the show for photos. Great value we all thought.

Normally, I don't write reviews. However, i don't want anyone else to be subjected to this show. The best part of the show was when it was over and I was running down that long concrete path putting as much distance between myself and the Sharp Aquos Theatre.

I do want to add this though, this show will make you appreciate every spare moment in life. After sitting through this, you will never take a moment in your life for granted.

Starting with a positive the Blue Man Group show was funny and entertaining. However in my family's opinion the tickets were well over priced.
The reason for the poor review is due to lies and unbelievably bad customer service we received.
My wife booked 5 adult tickets via Universal Studios Blue Man Group ticket office. The sales person told us to book dinner tickets because of the following -
1. Priority speedy reserved seating in 3 of the main restaurants including Margaretville.
2. The show tickets work out cheaper
3. Free drinks at the restaurant we choose.
This appealed to us as having had to wait for an hour to be seated previously at one of the restaurants we thought this would be a good idea and we could eat around 6.30pm and enjoy the show that started at 8.30pm.
When we arrived at Universal we went to the Information kiosk and explained we needed to collect our tickets. The lady explained we needed to collect them either from the ticket machines or the customer service area by the front gates. The ticket machines were not working. We stood in a queue for 40 minutes to speak Customer service which was woefully undermanned.
Eventually we explained to a lady that we had come to pick up our tickets and she explained that we had to go to collect them from outside the Blue Man group main entrance. (to be fair she did try and help and was the only person who seemed to know anything!)
We arrived at the Blue Man Group entrance and walked straight up to the collection point. The time is now 7pm. The lady went to print our tickets after wanting to see proof of ID, email confirmation and our inside leg measurements. She then said there was a problem with their ticket machine and could we wait. So we waited and watched others have tickets printed. Confused I asked the lady why other peoples tickets were able to print and she again said sorry the manager is coming down to sort out the problem, My wife asked what the problem was and they said they couldn't find the booking. We explained we had dinner tickets and we needed to get to the restaurant, the time was now 7.15pm!
We asked if they could phone ahead top the restaurant to ensure we could be seated straight away as we would struggle to now eat the meal and get back to watch the show. The manager (DEBBIE) said she couldn't do that...jobs worth. So I asked my son to call ahead - he was told by the restaurant that Universal always sell the tickets based on a priority booking and quick seating but he said this was untrue and all he could do was add us to the waiting list. needless to say we had been mis-sold and told a pack of lies by the Universal Studios sales person. It was now 7.30 still no tickets, my patience had expired so I said that we could no longer eat in the restaurant and asked why the salesperson had told us we would get priority seating when this was clearly not the case. The manager Debbie, was abrupt and unhelpful. My wife asked for a refund on the meal part of the tickets. Debbie said proudly " We don't do refunds here at Universal!!!!) after another 10 minutes of arguing she said she would refund the meal tickets and just give us the tickets for the show. She said the refund would take at least 2 weeks to process ( No explanation as to why) and then gave us 5 adult tickets for the show. we were just about to walk away when my wife saw the price of the tickets we had paid on line and the price she had just charged us was massively different. My wife said she had made a mistake, the cost for 5 adults and 5 dinner tickets was $525 yet the tickets she had just given us was $515....$10 different!!!
This is the best bit........
Debbie again with great enjoyment announced that we had just walked up and bought tickets direct from the stand and these are charged at a much higher rate than those bought on line.
I could not believe it!! I did everything to keep my cool and my wife jumped in to remind Debbie that had it not been for mis-direction, the ticket machines not working, the inability to print our tickets, being mis-sold we wouldn't be buying the tickets at the kiosk!
Eventually after further exchanges we had simply had enough we took the original tickets that they could now print with the dinner vouchers and decided we would just have to eat at 11.30pm at night. just as well we didn't have young kids.
To say the team were unhelpful at Universal is a massive understatement. I can t believe the appalling service, jobs worth and rude attitude. It is no wonder Disney have such a great reputation for customer service if this is their only competition ( BTW Disney staff were always enthusiastic friendly, helpful and engaged in their work) I can only imagine the majority of staff at Universal were turned down by Disney!)
So it gets even better! we arrive at Margariteville and after a 15 minute wait get seated. its now 11.45pm. ( great bad and atmosphere) and are given menus. we then explain we have dinner vouchers and the menus are taken away replaced with a mini menu with 5 items on it to choose from! Basically it was a cheeseburger or similar! we ordered drinks and the waitress explained that we get one free coke or lemonade with the meal. LOL not what was indicated by Universals sales person!
I can honestly say that I have never been so annoyed, frustrated or disappointed by a company in my whole life. One of my working roles is to coach customer service to new starters joining my company. Lets just say I will not be using Universal to demonstrate how it should be done....but well done Disney, you guys deliver!

This was a great night of interactive showmanship. The Blue men not speaking takes nothing away from the show. Every seat is a great seat. This cracker of a night is for people that don't take themselves too serious because if you do, go to the Opera. If you enjoy it bright and loud.....take a seat, you wont be sorry.

I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Undercover Tourist and decided to buy our Universal Orlando Tickets and Blue Man Tickets thru them. This site saved us a lot of money on all of our tickets and I checked every site imaginable! I couldn't find any info about how the Blue Man ticket process worked when you bought them this way, because you don't request your specific seats when you buy them thru Undercover Tourist.

Here goes: you buy the Blue Man tickets and when you get them, they are actually "gift certificates". You then call the Blue Man box office, give them the info from the certificates and then you make reservations and choose your seats. IMPORTANT: These tickets are NOT for the first few rows (aka the poncho seats). The ticket agent told me that we couldn't use them for those seats and that I could not pay to upgrade. I was a little disappointed, but we still got really good seats in the next section back.

If you have your heart set to sit in the poncho rows, don't go with Undercover Tourist. If that isn't so important, I highly recommend buying tickets from them. We saved $60 on four tickets by buying them from U.T., which I think is well worth sitting a few rows farther back.

Tip: When you go to Undercover Tourist, type in mousesavers in the search box, and you will get an additional discount on any tickets you buy thru them. Also, they said it could be a couple of weeks before I got my tickets, but I had them in 2 days!

We can't wait for our upcoming trip!

I went to Blue Man Group Orlando the day we visited Universal Studios. Universal/Harry Potter area was great. My friend had made Blue Man Group reservations. She was told people might be splashed with a little water at times; that was it. Instead, large amounts of banana material were thrown off stage during the performance ruining my pocketbook and coach sneakers, and it did not come off with soap and water. Also, we got it all over our pocketbooks, shoes, and pants despite the small ponchos they give out, and it ruined the rest of the performance, not to mention the expense of dry cleaning the clothes and having some of our favorite clothing stained, and affecting our dinner out afterwards. They are talented musicians and performers; they could do it without humiliating people in the audience and damaging property of people in the audience. We were also made uncomfortable by watching things they did to others in the audience; ruining a pocketbook with sticky material, getting dye on someone, putting an object in someone's mouth, etc.. The performance would have been great without that, as the music and special effects on the stage were otherwise entertaining. We didn't mind them tossing around balls for people to keep up or even shooting clean toilet paper out at audience, but they don't need to damage property!!! Skip it; see Cirque du Soleil at nearby disney downtown, or just have a great dinner at Universal CityWalk.

I saw this show after years of curiosity since I heard it was very good. Its not. Its awful. It is the single worst thing I have ever seen that is marketed as entertainment AND the price that is charged for this talentless display is appalling. I paid almost $175 for two tickets over a week ago and I'm still fuming that I wasted so much money on such total crap. I don't even know what their talent is supposed to be.......spending 30 minutes cutting up a Twinkie with someone picked from the audience? Or is it the person picked from the audience who will be hung from their feet and splattered with paint? Supposedly, they are musically inclined but with the brutally loud background band I was left wondering exactly WHO is playing the music. Which leads me back to the question, "What did I pay for?". This show is not intelligent, amusing, or entertaining. I spent less on Broadway tickets where at least there is a talent on display. The three of these men need to grow up and get real jobs and stop falsely advertising themselves as artists. Oh wait, they are: they're con artists. Save your money on real entertainment. DO NOT SEE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

My stepdaughter took us to see The Blue Man Group at City Walk in Universal. This show is the pits! You have to have a brain the size of a walnut to like this show. If I had paid for it, I would have demanded my money back. We had front row seats and each seat had a plastic poncho (supposedly, to wear so you don`t get wet or dirty from their shenannigans on stage). We cooked like rootisserie chickens the whole show and nothing happened. The people in the middle of our row just got pelted with marshmallows & fruit loops. Th paint spatter did not reach outside the stage.
The Blue Men spent much of their time looking and staring at each other . They went into the audience and looked and stared some more ( like half an hour, until they found an audience member to their liking. They then made him or her stand up and raise their
arms and then sit back down. They did this several times. They had some audience members come to the stage so they could sit and have their ears pulled while the Blue Men made monkey noises. One audience member was a kid like 6 yrs. old and he sat
like a statue with the most bored face and his eyes half closed.
The Blue Men also stood and put their own heads in to Television set simulatiions and made stupid faces every time they turned a channel or turned the TV on and off.
There was also a time when with a female audience member, they sat and pretended they did not know how to open a twinkie. They stared at the lady for what seemed like hours unti she got the fmessage so she opened the Twinkies for them, They then made
a big show of cutting the Twinkies with a knife and fork, spearing a piece and feeding it to each other.
When they were playing their instruments, we felt the bass from the drums hitting us like fists in our chests and our backs because the seats are rigged that way. Beware those with pacemakers.
At the end of the "show" they dropped white bands from the ceiling that looked like they were toilet papering the crowd. We had to dig ourselves out of our seats, because everyone passed the swirls from the back all the way to the front.
If you don`t mind paying a pretty penny for staring competitions, bad manners, gross open mouth food vomiting and just plain stupidity, then this show is for you.

Booked 6 months in advance and paid extra for premium seating so we had centre seats and first row out of wet zone, when we arrived tonight found a row in front of us for disabled seating which is not on seating plan which would be fine if they were used for the disabled but instead given to the tallest people on earth so my kids could not see the show , also got covered in a banana type goo which was shot off the stage during the show which covered all our clothes and had the cancel our dinner reservation as we could not go to a resturant in the condition our clothes were and we stank! Also considering we were out of the wet zone seating, the show was loud which was fine but really boring, I found nothing in the show which was as good, even my 7 yr old found it boring, I'm really disappointed that firstly we were sold VIP premium seating but people who brought at the door got better seats at a really low price, the show was boring so don't waste your money unless you get the tickets really cheap or free, we paid £500 for 4 tickets (VIP) when all we really got was covered in goo, could not see very well and so so boring, buy universal park tickets instead and avoid
