A Great Course
May 2021
This course remains one of my favorites in Orlando. It is challenging but playable to golfers of all skill levels. The course was in good condition except the greens were a little bumpy, but still rolled true. The staff were all wonderful and always smiling. The 18th hole has been reconfigured into a par 3 with an island green. It is a very beautiful hole and a nice way to end the round (especially if you birdie it!). The only shortcoming of the revision is that it makes the back nine only a par 34. Play it: you won’t regret it.

Annual Trip

Our golf group plays here each year. The staff is very accommodating and the course was in great shape. This was our first time playing since the changed the layout. 18 is now a overwater par 3. I miss have the par 5 as the finishing hole.
We will be going back.

Bad customer service
Mar 2020
Played this course March 4th, course was ok but customer service was the worst. Had some issues on the course with the cart person and wanted to tell someone about it. The person at the counter was totally not interested and too busy talking on his phone. Someone named Chris Jones arrived and was so ignorant and arrogant and totally blew us off. I have played the best courses in the country and some very humble public courses but never been treated with such terrible service. There are many places to golf, don't waste your money here.

Did Not Like This Course
Feb 2020 • Friends
I did not enjoy my round at this course. The Layout penalizes good shots off the tee box. Course was in good condition and had some very pretty holes, but I will not return.

Hope you have 5+ hours to play
Feb 2020 • Couples
After playing at three other courses, we were looking forward to this course. Looks beautiful driving in. Staff that greets you and in the pro shop are very friendly. That’s where the positives end. We teed off on time but were behind a group and waited for them on EVERY shot. They took numerous practice swings for every shot. We never saw anyone in front of them. When the ranger came by, our cart said we were 10 minutes behind. I acknowledged this to him to show we were aware of it and he said “oh well...not much we can do about it when it’s this crowded.” Uh, yes there is!! I could not believe that he didn’t comment that he asked the folks in front of us to pick up the pace. I know the group behind us must have been just as frustrated as we were.
As pretty as it was, next time I’m in town, I’ll avoid coming here. Not a very enjoyable day.

Great service
Jan 2020 • Friends
Nice Orlando golf course located at a Marriott property. Course conditions were awesome, greens true and fast and best of all, some of the most friendly and welcoming pro shop staff you’ll find anywhere in Orlando. Come to think about it all the employees wherever you encountered them were great! Nice experience from arrival to departure. The only minor knock is the 19th hole for drinks and scorecard settling up is located at the hotel a walk away from the course. We opted to just go offsite to a sports bar instead due to the logistical challenge since we weren’t hotel guests. But nonetheless the golf course was the reason we were there and it was a good time for our two foursomes.

Very disappointing golf club
Feb 2020
We were so looking forward to this golf courses and were very disappointed. The cost for the Sunday round was 145 dollars(with our discount). The fairways and tees had very little little grass. The tee boxes reminded me of a course that had been left unattended for weeks. Just a very poor course for the money paid. Our complaints to the clubhouse were just like the tees, unresponsive.

A must play course
Dec 2019 • Family
Excellent and friendly staff from the pro shop to the starter. As mentioned by others range balls are included as well as free coffee or tea. The course is in immaculate condition, greens were rolling 12’s. If you can hit the fairways you can score well.

This course is incredibly difficult. Greens are super fast. 4 puts are common. Water on 16 holes. Its run like prison. Also hamburgers are 17 dollars and beer is 10 to 12
Course is in good shape though. 80 dollars plus to play.

Pace of Play
Nov 2019
The course is in very nice shape, plays very challenging as its more about shot management as you really need to play just about every club in your bag.

We played on a Saturday with overcast and windy conditions which made the course even more challenging.

The biggest gripe: Pace of play. I honestly waited 5-8 minutes on every tee box as there were 2 groups in front of us that slowed everything down. They were shanking shots, looking for balls for 5 minutes, hitting multiple tee shots, etc. The "ranger" was around and I did tell them each of the 3 times I saw them and they did nothing.

For example, I got to the turn at 1:57 PM, and the group in front was hitting off the box. We went in to warm up and use the restroom. I did not tee off on 10 until 2:18 PM. Number 10 is a par 5! When we were on the 11th I could see the group in front of us, then the group in front of them was on 12. Nobody was on the par 3 thirteenth hole, and there was a group of 2 putting on 14. Remember we got to the turn at 1:57, we finished the 11th (2 holes) and it was 2:50!?!?!?!

By our group sluggishly made it to the 15th tee box, we could see the entire course stacked up behind us. So there was a group or two of complete hacks ruining it for everyone else. Keep in mind its over $100 and also cold and windy that day which made for a miserable round.

I dont know whats worse: Not seeing a ranger, or seeing a ranger and they do nothing about it. We were the lucky few to get our rounds in but when we got to the clubhouse I witnessed 2 other groups complaining so it was not just me.

I played 4 courses in 5 days and was saving this for last, however it was really not fun at all. I would rather shoot in the 100's and play on time instead of shooting in the 70's and waiting for every shot.

Cmon Marriot - do better.
