- AprilGrand Rapids, Michigan5 contributionsFun birthday nightSurprised my mom for her birthday and bought VIP tickets for her, my sister and myself. My mom was serenaded by the security guard and they referenced her during the show. It was lots of fun. As a VIP we received a souvenir glass and drink. We paid extra for pictures, they were good pictures. The prime rib was perfect (I love med rare) and my mom/sister thought their dinner was fabulous. We got the chocolate pudding cake…wish I had got the cheesecake or key lime pie. The show was fun and entertaining. Expensive- I paid extra for the VIP, of course…seems it should come with the 3 pictures. I tipped servers 25%.Visited November 2023Traveled with familyWritten November 13, 2023
- SamMiddletown419 contributionsFun Time, Good Food.First time here for us. Really did not what to expect. Everything went well for us. I was really suprised how good my prime rib was. Our waitress was spot on, went out of her way for our table. The show we saw was fun. The actors were funny, overall, the show was better than I thought it would be. - DMS1908456 contributionsFamily Night Out in OrlandoOur family of 4 (2 adult sons) and another couple attended. We booked about 2 days in advance with no problem for a Thursday night. Checkin was fine. It's not cheap...about $270 for 4 of us including two prime ribs. The food was fine. Not fine dining but edible with no complaints. The inclusive wine, beer and soda was a good touch for the price. The show was cheeky but entertaining. We like that the audience gets invited to participate. Overall, we had a lot of fun and was glad we attended. Pictures are $20 each and we bought them. We chose not to tip when we paid and opted to tip.our server in cash at the end of the show. We always try to take care of service workers. They recommend $10 to $12 a person for tipping. Go. Have fun. Enjoy.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten January 1, 2024
- Ginny EMelbourne, Florida156 contributionsGreat evening outGreat evening out with family. We enjoyed trying to solve the murder mystery. Each table chooses a spokesperson and is given the opportunity to ask the characters a question. If you like prime rib, definitely pay the extra to get it. Chicken was good but prime rib received high praise We also appreciated the 2 vegetarian options as we had diverse tastes in our group. The drinks are unlimited. Great time.Visited December 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten January 5, 2024
- bigchriscMontauk, New York14 contributionsFun time at the innHave to say we were a little hesitant going to a dinner show in Orlando, it was for my birthday, and my wife and daughter thought it would be fun. Can't say enough about the whole production, I was mr kramden the bus driver, and given a simple script, the storyline and characters were amazing, and lots of laughs. Special shout out to Holly the bartender, for the grape Gatorade drinksVisited January 2024Traveled with familyWritten January 18, 2024
- Denise DGettysburg, Pennsylvania258 contributionsWho-Done-It Hilarity! If you’re looking for a fun evening with personable performers and a delicious meal, give Sleuths a try. The service was exceptional, and the audience interaction with the improv performers can be (was) hilarious. The detective work to determine the who-done-it made sleuths of us all. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was a delicious slice of Key Lime pie!Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 17, 2024

Mixed feelings about the experience. The show itself was quite entertaining, but taking all things into consideration after the evening, it was definitely not budget friendly, and actually had me a bit regretful when all was said and done. I am a frequent spender in Orlando, passes to all the theme parks, regularly visit venues for misc things to do with my family. First, the cost of the dinner/show. You pay when you check in, and maybe for a couple it wouldn't seem so bad, but my family of 4 ended up costing over $300 for the dinner/show. I guess I was kind of duped when they asked me if I wanted to leave the gratuity on my card, since they calculated the standard gratuity on the entire cost of the show and dinner. After the sticker shock of a $46 tip which upset me, I realized they added a tip to their show as well as the meal. I would have never done that. The meal was actually horrible, and I never complain about food while dining out. It was a Thanksgiving menu, the turkey was just ok, the mashed potatoes were hard, the stuffing tasted bad to all of us, and I can't recall what else was on the plate. The pumpkin pie after dinner was just ok and the coffee after desert was good, fortunately. Another complaint was the reservation said free unlimited softdrinks, so when we checked in while waiting for the show, there was a bar to get something and I found out my husband paid $16 for four sodas while we were waiting to be brought over to our tables next door. If you are spending $300 for a 2 hour dinner/show, you would think if you did have to purchase a drink while waiting, it would be a little more reasonable in cost. Also the tip regret severely impacted my overall experience since the waitstaff was serving a mixed seated table. We had three different parties sitting at our same table, so that means if you use the person to person tip calculation they passed on to me, that server made about $100 at just our table for the 2 hour experience, of which only a short period of time was set aside for the dining portion of the experience and there was minimal interaction needed since the drinks were served just in pitcher form for your own refills as needed, rather than them having to continually serve you. It was the worst service to tip dining I have ever seen and I will be sure to never attend this event again just because of that alone.

Thank you for attending the show and providing us with your concerns. We take all guest comments seriously and make adjustments where they may be needed.
We were happy to see that you found the show entertaining. In looking into your comment, we see that you did receive our November special rate of $60.95 for visit (our regular gate price is $70.95) for our Special Thanksgiving show at 6:30 PM show that ended around 9PM. The experience is designed so that you receive your salad and drink service when you arrive in the dining room. Then you see a comedy mystery play where all the clues are presented, after which guests are served a plated dinner and more drinks while they work as teams to come up with the questions for the interrogation. Next we have the 2nd part which is the interrogation where the guests ask their questions and uncover additional clues, followed by dessert and coffee service, and ending with the final unveiling of the criminal.
As for your concerns about tipping, first we want to tell you how grateful we are for you taking care of our staff. Since 2020/Covid, we have been working on a limited staff who have given up all their holidays with their families so that we can provide a holiday event for our guests. They are a fantastic crew who really care about the guests. We were disappointed to hear that you felt that they were undeserving.
As a little background, our crew arrives early in the day to prepare for the guests for our evening show. Everything you use and have in the dining room is prepared by our staff daily as well as cleaned up well into the night after our guests leave. We as a company, do not allow them in the dining room during performance times out of respect for the cast and guests experience. However, rest assured that our staff is very busy during these times as they are preparing for the next portion of the show and getting things ready for the best experience. On average our staff walks upwards 6.5 miles each night - they are on the move from the time they arrive to the time they leave. We are sorry that that was not evident.
As for the food, on Thanksgiving, we offer a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at no additional cost to our guests. This is a more expansive menu than our normal show and requires preparation well in advance just like a holiday meal you would prepare at home. We love doing it as a special treat for our guests. Again, we sorry you didn’t enjoy it but we can assure you that we make it all from scratch and lots of love!
We hope in explaining this that our guests see that we do care greatly about your experience and product. As always there is room for improvement and with each day we do try. Once again, thank you for allowing us the opportunity to see our show through the eyes of our guests.

We found this place by accident on our honeymoon 25 years ago and this was our first time back to Orlando without the kids. We decided to do it again. Loved it back then and loved it now. Decent food and great fun. Mature children would also enjoy. If you can get a discount, recommend trying as the price is a bit on the steep side. The picture at the table was also pricey but it was good quality so we bought it anyway

The show is not bad, the 4 actors really seem into it. They are quick with funny comments and make the most of it. The audience interaction is OK, albeit a bit much.
The parts we did not like is the waiting. Check in is 4-420 (for our Sunday show), which means you first have to wait in a long line as only 1 person is taking payments and giving tickets.
Then you have to wait for your number to be called, a very inefficient process. It’s not professional. Then, in small groups, you are guided to the room where the show takes place. Salads are already on the table.
The whole process from entering the lobby to the show starting took about 1.5 hours, way to long. Would be easy to make this less painful.
The show, as said is OK. The 2 breaks also take a bit long. As such, the whole ordeal makes the 45 minutes show take 4 hours. Not bad, but not worth it for the money.
We have done many dinner shows in Orlando, Medieval times is much better, or the pirate show.
Food was OK, server was friendly.

What a fun evening! We went to the amazing magic show to start the evening...oh, he’s good! Even with close proximity you can’t catch his slight of hand or the “trick”! Very entertaining!
We moved on to the mystery dinner show. Dinner was ok. The show was lots of fun. Our table had four couples from all around the US. We worked together to solve the “murder”! Lots of laughter and intrigue! Well worth going to!

Our dinner to Sleuth's was a very good choice for me and my honey. We sat with others (socially distant), connected with the actors before the show. The food was exceptional so, I ate it. The mystery dinner was a true 'Who-dun-it' spoof . We laughed a lot. Met some good people and enjoyed the time spent together.

Well worth attending. We found this on our last visit to Orlando in April on the hotel recommedation. Enjoyed it so much on our return trip now in November, we attended again and it was still great. They have different shows so you get a different show each time. If we return again to the Orlando area, this will on our list to see again

We go to Sleuth’s every time we are in the Orlando area and enjoy from beginning to end. The shows are smartly written and masterfully acted. Family friendly – no offensive language (some innuendo but in a fun/comedic way, PG rating). The actors engage the audience and encourage you to play along which is a lot of fun. The food is wedding/catering food – nothing special, but absolutely fine and one less thing to worry about on vacation. We are there for the show, dinner is just an added bonus. And we are never, ever disappointed. Absolutely worth every penny – go! You will not regret it.

I might come with a friend who doesn't fully understand english
Will that affect him to understand the show?
Thank you
Written October 3, 2018
I would say not to take the friend to this. There is lots of conversation in their skits and it changes all the time from one thing to another which at times confusing. He probably wouldn’t get the humour or joke. This is something your going for the laugh and show ... the food is a pass but not the best or fancy.

I've been here 3-4 times but I don't remember the names of the shows I seen and I want to see something I haven't seen yet. From my experience, the more actors/actresses on stage the more interesting the show. I want to know what past visitors and staff recommend...."Joshua's Demise", "The Show Must Go On", "The Reunion", or "Squires Inn"???
Written June 27, 2018
We saw one about the death of a twin brother. I can’t remember the name of the show but It was good. We enjoyed the play and dinner.
If you call them they will give you a brief description of what performance they are having.
We were told that they have five different shows.
Written June 27, 2018
Do they make any substitutions on the meals? My son wants to get the prime rib but won't eat a baked potato or vegetable can he request a different side?.
Written March 21, 2018
The only thing for you to do is call ahead and ask them. You have to have reservations and you must tell them what your dinner choice is when you make the reservation. I would definitely ask them then, and make sure you know the name of the person who gives approval, if it is given. When you arrive on the day of the show, you have to check in at the "box office" and get your entry slip for seating. You should then follow up with that person to remind them, again if it is approved.
In any case, I think you will enjoy your visit tremendously. I have been several times and have always gotten the prime rib. It costs a little more, but it was well prepared and we enjoyed the meal.

How far is this show from universal studios Florida
Written January 7, 2018
It’s about 10-15 minutes away. It’s on the other side of I-4 on International drive by the Orlando Eye.
Written January 22, 2018
If you purchase all three shows, the magic show and the comedy
club in addition to the dinner show, then arriving about 45 minutes before allows you to browse the gift area or have a drink at the bar. Also, did buying the tickets early get us a better table,( ours was in the first set in front of the stage), I don't know, but it couldn't hurt.

We are looking forward to seeing your show.we have a group of 10 coming.my question is what show would you recommend that doesn't have sexual induendo or bad language?

Sleuths Guest Services
Orlando, Florida
Sleuths rates our shows PG. There are no 4 letter words, no nudity, no graphic violence but there are sexual innuendos, similar to shows like Friends, Golden girls and Two and Half Men without the 4 letter words. So it's really up to you if this will be OK for your family. We do have children attend every night but it's a parental decision. Hope this helps!
