About
Orlando's Premiere Miniature Golf Experience Come and experience Central Florida’s newest and most outrageously themed miniature golf – Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk Orlando! The two all-new, state-of-the-art 18-hole courses are unlike any other miniature golf experience. Inspired by the 1950’s era, guests enter a classic drive-in theater box office area where they select either a “single-feature” (18-holes) or “double-feature” (36-holes) with a choice of two family friendly courses, “The Haunting of Ghostly Greens” and “Invaders From Planet Putt.” Based on vintage horror flicks and “little green men” science fiction films, guests putt through elaborate movie-style scenes, passing through a cemetery, under a giant spider, around an enormous alien robot, through the open mouth of a giant space worm, and into the basement lab of a towering haunted house. Cutting-edge interactive elements and special effects immerse guests further into the “double feature,” and LED neon edge-lighting allows play during the day, night, and late night.

We did the Alien course and the 50's style vibe were so much fun and perfect for photo ops. The giant robot and spaceship were standouts, and the holes weren't too difficult. I would recommend going after 6pm when the parking for Universal Citywalk is free, the $27 almost doubled the price. Still worth it though!

We visited during the night to take advantage of the "Haunted House" theme course with light effects and props, the other course being the 1950's Sci-fi. I recommend getting the LED ball and playing during the night! The little scorecard has questions on the course as you go along, which I liked. I also liked the props, some of which move or do effects. The mini golf can get crowded on weekends, so we went right away at sunset. Overall, a nice mini-golf in CityWalk.

Brought my family of four (ages 6, 9, 12, 14). There are two courses. We tried the Haunted one. The holes are really fun and while you are playing, there is a scavenger hunt. The kids really enjoyed it, especially the last hole. I don't want to spoil anything. We each purchased some really cool souvenir golf balls at the end. We went in late August, so it was HOT! However, they had misting blowers that helped quite a bit. Maybe due to the heat, we were the only ones there and did not feel rushed. Probably a great place to check out closer to the evening. It is not cheap, but we really enjoyed the experience. We look forward to checking out the next course (space aliens I believe) the next time we are in the area. One note, parking is expensive if you are not at a resort and riding a bus there. I believe parking is free after 6pm though.

Overall, this place was good. The staff was excellent, very friendly. BUT huge note, this is located inside of the Orlando mall and it costs $27 to park and it took us 45 minutes to park and get through security. It was a huge hassle. So this is fine if you want to do other things there but if you are just going for the golf, choose another!

We tried the haunted section on our recent (Oct. 2020) trip to Universal. The course was really cute and was impeccably maintained. My only reluctance about giving 5 stars was the price, but elevated costs can be expected at an entertainment complex like City Walk.

We only had a couple days in Orlando and had to skip the parks this trip, but wanted to still have fun. So we had good old fashion family fun playing mini golf. We chose the Sci-Fi course. We played at night which added to the fun. The Hollywood Drive-In mini golf is so whimsicle and full of color and spooky lighting. It's great fun for all ages.

We came on the evening of December 30th and decided to play the haunted mansion course. We were greeted by a wonderfully cheery and friendly girl named Tequila (which is such an awesome name btw)- who explained the course and made us all laugh and get excited about what was to come.
The actual course was great, many obstacles, so much attention to detail and was pretty challenging. We honestly had the best time, and if it were less expensive, we would have played the other course too.
Do it at night so you can see the lights and all the effects Universal put into the course.
Definitely something we want to do again!

Best game of mini golf so far! We did both courses, one during the day and one at night. If your going during the hot months you might want to wait til the sun goes down, but it is much less crowded during the day. The course is brilliantly lit up at night, however it does get crowded. Staff is overly helpful and kind which pushes this place to 5 stars!

We’ve played both courses here many times over the years. It’s still lots of fun and we love coming back here. My tip - play in the evening to enjoy the courses when they’re lit up with special effects, much more fun!
Would definitely recommend if you enjoy mini golf.

We went for the double feature. Made it through the haunted side. The course was well cared for and fun to complete. The theme was great. Fun activities and things to read at each hole. Small trivia sheet to complete. Made it fun even if we caught up to the family in front of us. Unfortunately we hit rain and they had to close before we could get to the next side but they were nice enough to give us a rain check so we can come back anytime and play the other side.

We took our 6 month old in a stroller through the haunted side which was great and easy to do with a small umbrella stroller. The staff were very friendly and let us know the stroller would be difficult on the other course though due to stairs but looking at it, we had a carrier with us too and it would be pretty easy to walk through with the little one strapped to us.
