About
Orlando's Premiere Miniature Golf Experience Come and experience Central Florida’s newest and most outrageously themed miniature golf – Hollywood Drive-In Golf at Universal CityWalk Orlando! The two all-new, state-of-the-art 18-hole courses are unlike any other miniature golf experience. Inspired by the 1950’s era, guests enter a classic drive-in theater box office area where they select either a “single-feature” (18-holes) or “double-feature” (36-holes) with a choice of two family friendly courses, “The Haunting of Ghostly Greens” and “Invaders From Planet Putt.” Based on vintage horror flicks and “little green men” science fiction films, guests putt through elaborate movie-style scenes, passing through a cemetery, under a giant spider, around an enormous alien robot, through the open mouth of a giant space worm, and into the basement lab of a towering haunted house. Cutting-edge interactive elements and special effects immerse guests further into the “double feature,” and LED neon edge-lighting allows play during the day, night, and late night.

- Cassandra W11 contributionsSuch a fun course!Visited with a 7 and 9 year old on a weekday morning. It wasn’t busy at all and the location provided much shade and a constant breeze on a warm day. Course was on the easier side, which was great for the littles. Fun and interesting decorations, with interactive effects. This was one of the most fun mini golf courses we’ve played at. The downside was the price to play, combined with the price to pay for parking. Because of the price, I would only recommend if you were going to Universal CityWalk anyway, or were staying at a partner hotel with a shuttle.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 4, 2024
- Tom P2 contributionsGreat timeHollywood golf was a great time. The whole facility was clean and well kept. Holes were easy but challenging at the same time. The staff was friendly and helpful. Scott in particular was very nice, informative and generally great to deal with. All in all, a great time!Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 11, 2024
- Emma M1 contributionFun stop at Universal’s CityWalkSuper neat mini golf place… two courses, haunted and sci-fi. We opted for sci-fi, lots of unique holes, and can answer trivia questions along the way to earn some coupons to come again! (order tickets online for a slight discount :))Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 8, 2024
- Breanna M1 contributionHighly recommend!!The golf course was so much fun! Each hole was well decorated and so many photo opportunities. The best part however was talking to Scott at the front. He was cracking us up with jokes and giving us some helpful tips to improve our game. Highly recommend!!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 14, 2024
- Snax3 contributionsFor a good time...The people that work here are very informative and very polite. We played both courses. The Alien/UFO course was MUCH better than the Haunted course. I suggest a new theme to replace Haunted. I love that the scratch off tickets (which offer discounts of merch and future plays) they give you at the end of the courses never expire. The admission prices are quite expensive. There are many photo ops throughout the courses. We did have fun though!Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 30, 2024
- Morgan L6 contributionsSo entertaining! This was an absolute blast! I go to Universal often, but have never stopped to play mini golf. So this time I took my father and I think I've found my new must for a break from the rush. Scott was very kind and helpful in helping us decide which course we'd enjoy the most. Next time, I go to Universal, this place will be on my list of stops. Totally worth it.Visited September 2024Traveled with friendsWritten September 22, 2024

It was the best condition Mini Golf course we have ever player ….. and we have played a lot. Great theming for both sides and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Was fun to do and would definitely recommend, great imagination throughout the courseVisited November 2024Traveled with familyWritten November 5, 2024
- James CWorcester, Massachusetts32 contributionsDon’t miss while at UniversalVery nice mini golf course in Universal City Walk. We did the Alien course, which was challenging and well-themed. What stood out was how well maintained the course was. We also played Disney mini golf earlier and it showed some wear and tear from the Florida weather. Kudos to maintenance folks. Gentleman checking us in was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.Visited January 2025Traveled as a coupleWritten January 15, 2025

We did the Alien course and the 50's style vibe were so much fun and perfect for photo ops. The giant robot and spaceship were standouts, and the holes weren't too difficult. I would recommend going after 6pm when the parking for Universal Citywalk is free, the $27 almost doubled the price. Still worth it though!

We tried the haunted section on our recent (Oct. 2020) trip to Universal. The course was really cute and was impeccably maintained. My only reluctance about giving 5 stars was the price, but elevated costs can be expected at an entertainment complex like City Walk.

We visited during the night to take advantage of the "Haunted House" theme course with light effects and props, the other course being the 1950's Sci-fi. I recommend getting the LED ball and playing during the night! The little scorecard has questions on the course as you go along, which I liked. I also liked the props, some of which move or do effects. The mini golf can get crowded on weekends, so we went right away at sunset. Overall, a nice mini-golf in CityWalk.

Overall, this place was good. The staff was excellent, very friendly. BUT huge note, this is located inside of the Orlando mall and it costs $27 to park and it took us 45 minutes to park and get through security. It was a huge hassle. So this is fine if you want to do other things there but if you are just going for the golf, choose another!

We came on the evening of December 30th and decided to play the haunted mansion course. We were greeted by a wonderfully cheery and friendly girl named Tequila (which is such an awesome name btw)- who explained the course and made us all laugh and get excited about what was to come.
The actual course was great, many obstacles, so much attention to detail and was pretty challenging. We honestly had the best time, and if it were less expensive, we would have played the other course too.
Do it at night so you can see the lights and all the effects Universal put into the course.
Definitely something we want to do again!

This mini golf course is so cute. We took our 6 year old and he loved it. We went on a Friday and it wasn't busy at all plus it was raining a little. It was perfect because we could take our time without being rushed. It was a little pricey but it's worth it. I like all the little information at each hole. Also they have questions on the back of your scorecard and if you get them right you get some cool scratch off coupons. Can't wait to go back.

Incredible crazy golf right on citywalk. Best golf course I’ve done. $16.99 for 18 holes. Would highly recommend doing it at night to see all of the flashing lights. A choice of two courses: Haunted House and Alien Galactic. We did the Haunted House as there is a little surprise at the end. Amazing break from the parks before catching some dinner on citywalk. If you are staying at a Universal hotel etc Cabana Bay, pop to your Universal information desk for a 20% off voucher.

The price is usually more than we want to pay for mini golf. However, I saved money by buying the tickets online and saved 10% as FL residents. You choose between the Haunted or Alien side if you're just doing 18 holes. We played the Alien side. Everything was pristine and smooth. The greens may have been recently replaced. We enjoyed doing the trivia game. If you answer the questions correctly, you get a scratch-off for a prize. The prizes are discounts, coupons or a bogo free game coupon. We won a bogo. We returned the next day and played the Haunted side. That one was a little disappointing. It was cloudy and there was slight rain,so it was darker outside earlier than usual. However, the lights were not lit up, so we missed out on some of the visual features. Some of the greens were a little torn or damaged near the cup. We had to wear face masks the whole time, which was to be expected during this time of pandemic.

Best game of mini golf so far! We did both courses, one during the day and one at night. If your going during the hot months you might want to wait til the sun goes down, but it is much less crowded during the day. The course is brilliantly lit up at night, however it does get crowded. Staff is overly helpful and kind which pushes this place to 5 stars!

I went with a group of friends and we had a great time. I ordered my tickets online and was able to walk right up and redeem them. We quickly got checked in and started our courses. First we did the Alien, then took a break to grab lunch to do the haunted corse. Carlos , the attendee, was very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who likes putt putt as it was a great time for everyone even in Florida's heat.

One of the two courses is wheelchair (and stroller) friendly, the second course has stairs.

Can/should we make reservations?
Written January 16, 2019
We were practically the only people there on a weekday during the day. However, I have never seen it terribly crowded at anytime. Perhaps if you are going in the summer - when the parks a quite busy - or even s Friday or Sst evening, but otherwise, I do not think it is necessary.

Which course is more interactive? (2 adults) We only have time for 1 course (at night)
Written May 23, 2018
Sorry for the delay on this question. Both are great experiences especially at night. They both have interactive elements so you can't go wrong with either one. Enjoy your round if you haven't already!

Can you buy tickets from the UK before you go and are you tied to a particular day
Written April 21, 2017
You don't really need to buy in advance as it was not crowded at all. I noticed it became bit more crowded in the evening, but there was no back up or significant wait. When we bought our tickets to play each course in order to get the discount on the second course, we played one on each day.

Hi guys,
Can I just ask if anyone has had a positive experience with these guys changing tickets or date issues ?
I've just purchased online tickets for Feb 2017 as it states on the homepage that tickets are valid any date but yet on my confirmation it says they expire Dec 30 2016. I've emailed the customer team and I hope they can help as I purchased 2 x 36 hole adult tickets !
Can anyone help me if they will be good eggs and hopefully change the dates on my tickets to allow me to use them in Feb 17 !
Thanks.

The tickets never expire! Just bring your online ticket and they will check you in. If you have lost the ticket have a ID with the name on the tickets and they can look it up for you. As long as it hasn't been used you will be able to play Have Fun!!!
