Islands of Adventure is filled with a range of attractions for all ages. Everything is housed in different themed areas, and every area is designed with bold, graphically creative exteriors. I was also impressed with the modern technology used to make the virtual reality rides seem like the characters were RIGHT THERE coming at you! My favorites rides were Spiderman... More

As I spend my second day her at this park I get the impression that some one long ago went to Disney and took a bunch of notes and tried to copy the mouse. Except it just isn't the same. There are few benches available to rest a moment. There is litter everywhere. If a lord be says 30 minutes... More

We had several great days here. It was easy to travel here and fast to enter even with the metal detectors. It really helps if you're Harry Potter or Dinosaur fan. We had one of each 😀 Don't bring anything that can be used as weapon. I had a small three cm pocketknife that I had to go back to... More

The scenery is great and adds to all the little details that make islands of adventure great. There is a mix of thrill rides, kiddie rides, shows, shops and eateries to keep you busy all day. Some islands are a bit sparse of rides for adults, Jurassic park only has one thrill ride for adults that leaves you soaked. Not... More

We came here for one thing, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We were not disappointed. As we walked into Hosmeade the first day, with the atmosphere and music playing, I'm not embarassed to say, we both shed a single manly tear. My boyfriend and I both grew up as huge HP fans, and being able to see the real... More

I don't like roller coasters. Other rides were basically a multi-person car that moves erratically while you watch a screen with 3-D glasses. Images violently blow up in your face or you seemingly drop down rapidly through a hole, down a building or through space. All the rides were the same if you close your eyes. Open them and it's... First time visiting and came exclusively for the Harry Potter experience...while it was good, it in no way justified the price. If you're used to Disney, Universal is a big transition. Disney makes it easy, Universal just makes it confusing... from their lack of directional signage, hidden coke refill machines, and crazy ride rules (who EVER heard of a ride... More
