We came back having been here last in 2012. We stayed at a Universal Resort so we could get in at 7:00 am for it got really crowded. We did not have Express Pass as Cabana Bay does not have that perk and too expensive for 5 but really we didn't have excessively long waits. Only got on King Kong... More

Fantastic new ride at Islands of Adventure. Nicely done, great special effect and use of 3D protection. It does feel the story gets cut short for the benefit of the ride but it's overall a great new ride. Stay alert when you are getting close to the board the ride as there are some surprises lurking on the dark. As... More

Great time to make family memories. Express passes are a must if you want to save time and see the whole park.

We visited Islands of Adventure on our third day, we had early access and fast passes, these are well worth the extra money. Upon entry all of the staff are chatty and look genuinely happy to see you. We headed straight for Hogsmead where Hogwards and the Harry Potter ride are, these rides did not disappoint! It's best to do... More

I had an absolute blast coming with my mom to ride the rides and see the Harry Potter world area. The rides and the areas are top notch quality and blew me away at every turn. Every detail was thought out and immersive. In the sinbad area the mulch around the plants was crushed seashells. My mom and I got... More

We spent 5 nights enjoying universal studios, and some of the water parks. This was a great place to be during the summer. The weather was hot so drink plenty of water. The lines were long, but this was the summer and school was out. If you don't like long lines I would return off season. The parks had plenty... More

I realize I am reviewing Universal's Islands of Adventure but we had the park-to-park passes and I get the two parks confused as to which ones had which features so I'm actually commenting on both here. If you do nothing else you have to go to the Transformers ride. That is AMAZING! It does things that my imagination could never... More
