Aloha! We are located on a crystal clear spring run that is perfect for paddling of all kind! Most of the waterway is only hip deep and with a sandy bottom you can see fish and turtles swimming by! This scenic river is patroled and protected by state and federal agencies and is an ideal place for new and experienced paddlers alike. With cypress, oak and pine trees lining the shore, the river is shielded from wind and is shaded by the trees top canopies. With both tours and rentals available you can experience this scenic wonderland on your own or with a guide! Not sure about stand up paddleboarding ? We also have single and tandem sit on top kayaks available as well as 2 and 3 person canoes. Come and experience this amazing local's "secret spot " ! With its natural setting it's the perfect place to hang out even if you dont want to paddle! Cold beverages are available at the 'tooting otter bar ". Delectable fresh food is available onsite at "without a paddle" cafe! Join us!

We booked the Manatee Moments trip for Friday 23th March. We were really looking forward to the experience. We were contacted by Ned 3 days before letting us know that the Manatees were on the move as the temperature was rising. He offered us a full refund or an alternative experience. What good service! We couldn’t take him up on the alternative option as we were flying home so had to opt for the refund. We will definitely re-book when re return to Florida.

The best paddleboarding in Central Florida, we had an awesome trip on the upper Wekiva. Ned is a great teacher and guide!! He also offers really high quality boards, which makes a big difference to the enjoyment of your experience. Highly recommended, you will have a blast all while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Ned was a fantastic guide. He’s full of knowledge of the springs and stand up paddle techniques. His energy is infectious and I imagine his entire team to be the same way! Will def keep this in my library of great company and companies to work with. Thanks for a rocking river time!

I'm a returning fan and paddleboarder with Paddleboard Orlando. I've been on three of their tours in the past couple years and rented SUPs from them when they were located on Lake Killarney. I've been on their Wekiva Springs tours and their historic canals tour around Winter Park. I can't recommend these guys enough. Paddleboard Orlando is a small owner-managed company with fun and varied excursions and top notch service. They are very well equipped with great boards and run fun tours. In my personal experience they are they the superior operator in the area! I'm looking forward to being back on one of their tours very soon!

Went paddleboarding at dinky dock the first time. This time round wekiva river adventure. This tour was even better than the first as you get a chance to swim in the springs in the middle of the tour. Ned is one chilled guy as we are novices to say the least and paddleboarding at a slow pace! He has plenty of patients and gives a full training session before you head out. This is a fantastic experience for novices and experts alike. What can I say but a big thank you Ned for another paddleboarding chilled out morning. Give it a go, it's so good

Friendly, Knowledgeable instructors. Safety and fun was their goal. A pleasant 90 Minute outing on the lake for all ages. Well worth the money. Will do it again but next time, I am ready for one of their longer trips.

That was awesome! We're not strong swimmers, my husband even tried to chicken out this morning. Finally we found out it's not scary at all even if you fall into the water. Thanks so much for the fabulous fist time paddleboard experience, you guys really know great skills and how to take care of people. 真好玩，感謝！

Great Fun! The instructors are friendly and helpful! I suggest this for everyone!
The water was beautiful, reminded me of growing up on these lakes.

We were in Orlando for vacation this week and it has been 96 degrees and humid. We wanted an alternative to the typical Disney day. I found Paddleboard Orlando on tripadvisor so we took our teenage girls on the Friendly First Timer paddle board adventure to the Wakiva state park. It was amazing! We all got a lesson on boarding, then paddled up stream to a natural spring where the water was nice and cold! We swam for a while and paddled back to the launch site. The entire excursion was about 2.5 hours long. We saw a lot of turtles, fish and three gators! Everyone had a blast. Tom, Hannah and Sean were awesome guides, they made it really easy to have a fun safe trip! We brought water bottles and flip flops which were perfect, they all floated when they fell in the water :). We brought a picnic lunch, but there is also a great place to eat at the launch site. I will book this again for sure, we all loved it!

They say the lake is “alligator free”. I’ve only seen otters BUT I’ve lived in Florida my whole life and take caution even I’m pools. Better to be alert than get caught by surprise and risk being bitten

Gotcha , we do private stand up paddle board lessons for surfing , but we don’t teach surfing on regular surf boards . A private sup surf lesson is $150.00 for 3 hours , conditions permitting .

My son who is 12 years old and me know how to swim and change breath but can not swim long.
My husband even worse, he is kind of like a beginner. Are we able to do "Friendly First Timer's" class/lesson/tour?

Sure ! All children must be accompanied by an adult on the water . All children must be strong swimmers . We've had as young as 4.5 yrs old paddle .

Aloha ! there a few options ! at the store 7 days a week, on the private spring fed lake behind our store. a one hour self guided rental is 25.00 that includes a 5-10 minute land lesson if you need it. 35.00 for a 2 hour rentals. no reservation required for the rentals at the store. on Saturdays at 9 and 11 am we do our "Friendly First Timer's" class/lesson/tour. at dinky dock park , that cost is 35.00 and is 90 minutes long. multiple instructors go out with the group the whole time. reservations are required as this fills every weekend. to sign up for Friendly First Timer's RSVP and details are here meetup com paddle board Orlando
