My husband and I LOVE all WDW parks, but some have more to do than others. Animal Kingdom, in my opinion, doesn't have as much to do as other parks like Magic Kingdom. Since I knew that we have extra time, I started to peruse through WDW's website in the "Things to Do" section and I came across this walking... More

I have an 8 year old son who loves learning about different animals. This was perfect for him. We had Nick and Olivia as our tour guides and they did a fabulous job! Fortunately, it was just me and my son on the tour so they were able to focus on all of our questions. You really learn about many... More

I was a little wary before hand because we paid $200 each to go on it but I was pleasantly surprised that I had such a great time on this trek! Admission to this private tour is separate from your Animal Kingdom ticket. There are weight and age restrictions for this tour: You must be at least 8 years old... More

This is a 3 hour excursion through Animal Kingdom Savanna, with with behind the scenes access to viewing animals and learning much more in detail about their habitat. The first part is walking and you are wearing a full harness so they can tie you off and you can do some closer viewing of some of the animals (hippos and... More

Fun and unique! You go in a huge truck and the terrain is bumpy just like it would be on a real safari. The tour guide even gets into her role. I asked her, "how any animals do you have here?" And her response was, "we don't have any of these animals. In the African Savanna, no one owns them."... More

My sister and I went on the Wild Africa Trek on Monday, June 20th at 12:30. Since it was in the afternoon it was discounted I guess because not as many people want to do it during the hottest part of the day because of personal comfort and animal activity. We saw (we think) all the animals on the path... More

Absolutely fantastic! Andre and Daisy where fantastic tour guides! Disney's description of this tour doesn't do it justice. If you plan to go to Animal Kingdom and not do the trek, save your money and stay home. Thanks again for an amazing time.

We weren't sure if we were going to be able to do the WAT because of the price. It was so worth it. The food was great and you get to see animals up close and personal. The cast members were super funny and attentive. Everyone should do this.

Wonderful experience with fantastic guides.Up close and personal for hippo feeding, walking a suspension bridge across crocs, giraffes right at our vehicle, eating lunch on the Savannah and much more made for a great "adult" experience.

After taking the Backstage Tales in the morning, The Old Lady took the Wild Africa Trek tour that afternoon. There are two guides for this tour. Since I was the only one that signed up for it for that time period, I had a private tour. All I can say is "Wow!" The tour guides were engaging, fun, and knowledgeable.... More
