I did this with my 12 year old daughter for her birthday. It was great! We went out close to a hippo and walked over rope bridges over the hippos and crocodiles. Scary but great. Then we had a delicious lunch and an extended safari ride. It was a blast. I highly recommend for any animal lovers!

Amazing, fantastic, awesome...there's not enough adjectives to properly describe this adventure. It's a tad pricey but worth every penny! Every single detail is covered. Each participant gets their own headset so you never miss anything that the guides say. In addition to two awesome guides that are with you the entire trip, there are individual animal experts that speak to... More

This was a really nice tour. You get to see the other side of the safari at animal kingdom and can ask questions that others may noT be able to answer in front of kids. You get really close to the hippos and crocs. The snack is huge so make sure you do not have food reservations too close before... More

We have watched people walk over the safari rides every year we have been here, but have never done this. This has been some of the best money spent at Disney World that we have spent. Jess and Paula were amazing tour guides! This is a must do for any visitor to Animal Kingdom!

So much fun. The animals were incredible, the guides were funny and very informative. And believe it or not, the food was pretty awesome too. The highlight was eating on the Savanah in little tin lunch boxes. I really felt like rock stars gone to Africa. Also, there is a professional photographer with you and all the pictures are included.... More

We have often thought about Disney tours, and took the plunge this year since it was just the 2 of us. The wild African trek was amazing. Hippos, rope bridges and crocs, a safari ride, and a great lunch. Thank you for the memorable trip! Even with a full tour group (12) nothing felt crowded. A couple f families in... More

I have wanted to do this trek since it first existed, but haven't gotten around to it. Well, for my sister's 60th birthday, I decided that she and I would do it together. It was SOOOO worth every dime I spent! Rachael and Danielle were our guides and they were funny, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were helped by Emily... More

We contemplated doing this because of the cost, finally decided since it was a Disney excursion it must be good. Well have to say it was the best decision we made, this experience was the absolute best thing we did in Disney World. We were the only 2 on this trek, 8:45 am, and were given the VIP treatment for... More

Wild Africa Trek is the very best thing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I recently went on this 3-hour excursion behind the scenes and it was fabulous. The two guides were interesting and knowledgeable, and kept me smiling. Walking over rope bridges above crocodiles, watching hippos being fed, and having a fabulous lunch after a tour of the African savanna was... More

We had Meg and Morgan for our guides. They made the excursion simply outstanding. It's everything you would expect from a Disney experience. We didn't feel rushed at all and were able to get up close to the animals. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it, we would definitely do it again.
