We have often thought about Disney tours, and took the plunge this year since it was just the 2 of us. The wild African trek was amazing. Hippos, rope bridges and crocs, a safari ride, and a great lunch. Thank you for the memorable trip! Even with a full tour group (12) nothing felt crowded. A couple f families in... More

I have wanted to do this trek since it first existed, but haven't gotten around to it. Well, for my sister's 60th birthday, I decided that she and I would do it together. It was SOOOO worth every dime I spent! Rachael and Danielle were our guides and they were funny, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They were helped by Emily... More

We contemplated doing this because of the cost, finally decided since it was a Disney excursion it must be good. Well have to say it was the best decision we made, this experience was the absolute best thing we did in Disney World. We were the only 2 on this trek, 8:45 am, and were given the VIP treatment for... More

Wild Africa Trek is the very best thing at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. I recently went on this 3-hour excursion behind the scenes and it was fabulous. The two guides were interesting and knowledgeable, and kept me smiling. Walking over rope bridges above crocodiles, watching hippos being fed, and having a fabulous lunch after a tour of the African savanna was... More

We had Meg and Morgan for our guides. They made the excursion simply outstanding. It's everything you would expect from a Disney experience. We didn't feel rushed at all and were able to get up close to the animals. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it, we would definitely do it again.

This was a trek basically behind the scenes at the Disney's Animal Kingdom animal park. We hiked through the back of the animal zoo and had an amazing up close personal look at the animals in their habitats as well as a truck ride through the animal park. We also received a gourmet lunch in a special viewing hut in... More

Paula and Joe were kind, fun guides. We enjoyed spending three hours with them. The tour provides binoculars for you to borrow. Disney gives each guest a stainless steel water bottle to use on the tour and take home with you. Photographs of your experience are included, along with access to gallery shots of the animals. We got about 20... More

The animals here have a lot of room to roam and seem pretty natural. I have been on a lot of safaris so I like this ride.

This was so great, very expensive but enjoyed every minute of it. Having lunch while the giraffes come up close so you can view was amazing. If you have the money I would recommend doing this!

Nick and Jess were our guides and if you have the chance, request them. Their enthusiasm for their field and their knowledge made the day for us. fFrom the beginning you are strapped into a harness and at any place where there is a drop off or on the bridges you are hooked to a tether. Bottom line: you are... More
