I have come to Orlando every December for the past three years. In December 2019, the course was in bad shape. However, this December I have seen a marked improvement. The fairways were over seeded and green. The greens were in good shape. The facilities such as pro shop and bathrooms on the course were clean and well maintained. The golf cart that I had was brand new. I understand some of the negative comments from the past, but it appears to me that they are making a strong effort to make improvements. Cost for the mid-week round with cart was about $35 which I considered a bargain. I would give it another try, if you had sworn it off in the past.

Played yesterday and would like to know how this course gets good ratings! How do they charge $50 and feel like their is value in the experience. The fairways were barren or little grass to hit from. Almost solid dirt with a few fairways having large areas of sand - not sand to heal the course - simply sand in the fairways on top of the dirt. Around the greens, hard, again barren areas with no ti little grass. Greens were the best thing about this course and that isn’t saying much because they looked like baby Swiss cheese with weeds throughout. For $50 you should be embarrassed and can go elsewhere for less money and better conditions.

This is a links style golf course with fairly open fairways. The fairways are patchy with a fair amount of hard pan, however, the backside fairways are in somewhat better condition. It appears to greens have all been completely relaid recently with new sod and they are extremely fast but inconsistent which should improve as these mature. There is an abundant amount of bunkers which are in good condition. The tee boxes are definitely in need of improvement. The clubhouse, pro shop and bar are very nice. The course is a good value and I would recommend it.

Golf course layout designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. He would be turning over in his grave if he saw what this golf course has become. The greens lumpy and fungus ridden although all greens were consistently poor the fairways were even worse looking more like a cow pasture than a golf course with almost no grass to hit off of and dirt patches all over. If you are going to play this course play lift and place otherwise you will be even more disappointed in your round, pace of place approx. 5 hours. Eighteen most memorable hole. We usually play this course every time we come down to Florida and look forward to playing Metrowest but sadly never again. There are much venue’s to play in Orlando and Tampa. Sorry to see the course and area of Metrowest in such decline of what it once was including some of the older buildings of Metrowest in such disrepair. Cart person very nice, front desk at check-in ok. Grounds crew never a smile on their faces when you acknowledge their presence they look as miserable as the course. One last note restrooms at hole number 10 were closed, Not a very memorable experience.

The course is horrible. They are not watering and the entire course is dirt! i wouldn't send my worst enemy there! I have lived in Florida for 30 years and this couse by far is the worst course I have played. The staff is nice but there is nothing nice about the course.....stay away.

The clubhouse, golf shop and starter were all so welcoming . Then we hit the course, speed of play was great , we had teed off at 7:17 ? Greens terrible, fairways dreadful areas of no grass . The design of the holes looked great was had happened! Green fees cheap, you get what you pay for?

Was disappointed in this course this trip as we had played the course in other years. Badly in need of overseeing in many areas. Course was dried out and weedy.
Will not hurry back unless we see more favourable reviews in future.

I played this course on Jan 2nd. It was in just perfect shape. The tee boxes only had a few ball marks but were mostly green. The fairways and greens were in perfect shape. The sand traps were in good shape I know because i was in pleanty. The greens rolled very well. The GPS on the cart was not only accurate but readable from a distance. The course was testing but playable for a high handicapper like myself. All the staff from the bag drop gentleman to the pro shop staff and the cart girl and bar staff were very friendly. I would recommend this course highly and would play this again next time I am in town.

Really had a terrific day at this course today. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The course was in amazing green shape, couldn't believe how plush the fairways were. The layout was challenging and interesting. Played through reservations on golfnow.com and the value was outstanding. Highly recommend.

The course was in poor shape compared to a year ago. The pace of play was slow and was there was no ranger to speed it up.
