We tried this place with our 2 children (age 11,10) as something else to do in Orlando that’s not Disney related. It’s located inside an old mall so the attractions are spread out and there’s dining options available too. Once you enter the building, you’ll see some of the museum’s cars out for all to see but if you want to see more of the collection, that’ll cost you. I liked the fact that we only had to pay for what attractions my kids wanted and Dezerland offers bonus money depending on how much you are willing to spend, it’s not cheap. My kids liked the trampoline park (you have to pay additional $4/pp for their socks) and they will find you to tell you when your time is up! We also did the auto racing around the indoor tracks (they charge additional $ for the headpiece to wear under your helmet) and my kids thought that was pretty cool for only driving for 7 minutes. The Nerf foam guns shooting course was small, but guns kept jamming with the foam bullets so the kids had a hard time clearing that, so they weren’t a fan of that attraction, the guns need some serious replacing. We did the one hour at Pinball Palace and that was a joke. Most of the machines are broken so save your money!!! You will struggle to find machines that will keep you busy for a hour. The actual arcade was probably the best, most of the games were working and many to choose from with a prize booth nearby, just be prepared to pay the exorbitant prices!! Overall my kids thought the place was just ok and most likely we will not return. There’s needs to be a lot of updating done to the place. The A/C I felt wasn’t working so it got hot pretty quick during the run around of foam guns and trampoline park. Just a suggestion, go early! We were there when it opened and didn’t have to wait in line for anything. By the time we left in the afternoon, there were a lot of lines to the attractions, but we were in the arcade so that really didn’t affect us. We did Dezerland once but will find other things to do in Orlando next time we visit.

This is only for the auto museum it's the only thing we did. The cars are fantastic the museum itself is top notch. The major reason for a 3 star review is poor curating. The placards in front of the cars are terribly flawed one was in front of an Edsel. Titled Edsel but all the lower explanation was about a chevy impala that wasn't even on display...this is just one example of many problems with the curated information. There were only a hand full of placards throughout the museum and a we noticed quite a few flaws. There is an Original car from a tv show from the 70s. It's beautiful but all the posters are from the remade movie based upon the show. not the tv show. The cars are great I highly recommend going but it fealt like the curator just didn't care about what they are doing.

Need a place to get out of the heat/rain? Interested in vehicles from all around the world and/or featured in TV and film? Check out the Dezerland car museum!

My family and I went and had a great time. There are docents who will walk with you and explain the history of different types of vehicles. The collection of vehicles was incredible! If you have kids with you there are go carts and a pinball arcade. The center also features a movie theater as well.

We really felt that the cost of the museum, $20 for an adult, was worth it. We spent approximately four hours looking at cars and doing one go cart race. The only negative to me is that the music piped through the PA system was really loud with mature (filthy) lyrics. Odd for a family entertainment destination.

Hey there! Thank you so much for your review! We are happy you mostly enjoyed your time here at Dezerland Park Orlando! We are still in the process of solidifying different aspects of our park. We want your next stay to be a very memorable one.

We went during a recent family trip to Orlando. We’re looking for something air condition to do because it was really hot. This place is ginormous. we didn’t pay a fee just to go in -every activity had its own price. Which was fine. It wasn’t very crowded which was nice. It seems very clean. The bowling was ridiculously expensive As well as the trampoline park. It was over 25+ dollars for a 30 minute jump plus the cost of the socks. There was a lot of stuff going on at this place. It has a car museum And it’s set up like a mall. When we were there a few of the stores were closed. And a few others were vacant. They have a movie theater which was nice. We didn’t go see a movie but it was nice that they had that available. The go kart track was impressive but wasn’t appropriate for younger riders. It kind of fell a little flat for us due to the pricing. Also not a place for the younger kiddos. If you have teens this place would probably be a big hit but we were traveling with a six-year-old.

Place was basically empty of people. I understand they have not yet officially opened.
Free admision to the main builing where you can see some vintage cars and play on arcade, go karts and some other attractions
The (main) car collection (museum) USD 20 entry fee is very impressive
If you are a -classic/vintage car fan, you will like this place

This is a really bug indoor game park with arcade, bowling, karts, trampolines, and other attractions. But it seems to be partially finished and it seems like the owner / management lost interest in it. It's partially finished and doesn't seem to have much construction going on to complete it.

We went for the Dezer car museum. We saw a previous Dezer car exhibit and the previous exhibit was better organized. This exhibit had a random mix of classic cars and movie cars. A number of the cars were modern replicas of classic cars. The car descriptions were mostly replaced by little QR codes you can scan with your phone for more info, but that requires installing a phone app which only worked with some cars. Others had QR codes that went to a broken web site. For a large collection like this it would be nice to have a section of legitimate classic cars displayed with information on them and when suitable hoods open and engines displayed. The movie cars (and replicas) are nice, but are of interest to a different crowd and it would be nice if they were displayed separately.

The heavily advertised Bond car collection was not here. Would be nice if they left the Bond stuff off the web site until they actually move in the cars.

One stormy day in Orlando, we looked for something indoors to enjoy. This place was way more than we expected. We went for the auto museum and spent 2+ hrs there without looking at everything. Easy to find. Parking is no problem, and free, as this appears to be an old mall building. Military discount is honored. Great layout.
Not all autos have a written description, but they do have a podium with a QR code. You must download their app to access the info. My husband did this, and it charged him for the app, which I thought was a bummer, then he was going to have to sign up for an account, so we ended up not using it at all.
There are multiple bowling alleys inside, along with a huge, curvy go cart track. The only suggestion I can make is adding an ice cream shoppe. There were places to get food, so we couldn’t believe there was nowhere to get ice cream in this fun space!
All in all, this is a great place for young, old, and everyone in between. Glad we took time to explore it!

If you like vintage cars, the auto museum at Dezerland Park is for you. I can honestly say this is one of the best museums I've ever been to. The number of cars is incredible. My family liked the movie cars (such as the Ghostbusters Cadillac, the Back to the Future Delorean, Herbie the Love Bug Volkswagen, and many more).

This car museum was moved from Miami a number of years ago. Check Groupon for discount tickets.

Pretty cool spot visually. Lots of things to do from go karts to bowling. If you love cars you will love the auto museum. However, I feel completely ripped of in regards to the arcade. $50 play card. Games range from $1.00 to almost $3.00 a play. The payouts on most of the games are low. $1.80 for a game that paid out only 3 tickets! Many were out of order, malfunctioning, buttons that did not work (deal or no deal), calibration issues with what is displayed and what is actually won and quite frankly the game selections were not very fun. I felt as though I should have just walked in and handed them a $50 bill and walked away. They did some cool little scooters you could ride. I think they definitely need to reevaluate the arcade in its entirety.

Haven't even had the party we booked and already a very disappointing experience. Not looking forward to actually having the event as it is sure to be an embarrassment for my poor daughter who has to tell her friends that this place is so cheap they don't even allow you to earn tickets on arcade play for parties. You have to purchase those separately, which I don't even care about, but it takes away all the fun as the majority of the games are purely based on earning tickets. Even Chuck E Cheese can manage to offer that.
