We took advantage of the free buffet and drinks that our seats came with, the quality and variety of food was amazing, you had dishes from the 4 corners of the world available, and a FREE bar, the game the crowds the entertainment staff, what an experience. We will see you again in March 2023Visited October 2022Written December 19, 2022
- Mag1324Bayport, New York130 contributionsRude usherWent to the Magic vs Knicks basketball game. Our seats were 6 rows off the floor. After an usher pointed us in the direction of our seats, we settled in. About 5 minutes later, another usher came down and asked to see our tickets. He was very abrupt and rude. He clearly didn’t think we belonged in such good seats. After he looked at the tickets he mumbled “okay” and walked away. We noticed he didn’t question anyone else.Visited February 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten February 8, 2023

- Mike V2 contributionsGood time, bad usherWent to the NCAA games Thursday and Sat March 2023. Sat in section 111. My wife and I are in our 60s. After getting settled in on Thurs, we were asked by an usher to show our tickets? He asked no one else but clearly there were violaters as sometimes we would get food or go to the bathroom. Saturday three gentlemen who clearly were trying to improve their seats as they were moved twice by the usher but never questioned, sat behind us. They were Duke fans. I wish I had a dollar for every Fbomb dropped by these morons. Then one of them told a Tennessee woman to "Sit down you wh*re!". I had enough and complained to the usher who did nothing. The seats are cheap and one fan fell as his foot went through a rubber protector between the stairs next to us. The ushers answer was to remove the rubber protection leaving a gaping hole. Not good. Had a great time but with a competent usher, it would have made a huge difference.Visited March 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten March 19, 2023

Tran Siberian orchestra 12/18/21 at the Amway was THE WORST Christmas Concert I have ever been to in my entire life. It was nothing like what I expected or heard about. My poor elder mother was over it 3 songs in, and this was my gift to her. Unless you live acid rock save your money and don’t go.

When entering the stadium any food and drinks you previously purchased have to be thrown out so that you must buy their overpriced food and drink. Even food items purchased at tourist attractions had to be thrown out. Even though the tourist attraction is related to the center. Plus when coming out of the center there is no signage to direct where the uber collection points are. The match and events were entertaining.

Disappointing. They should be called Trans-Siberian Death Metal Rock Band. They share as much in common with an Orchestra as Mozart shared with the Beasite Boys. My wife and I dressed up and went to their show to see an Orchestra play, I should have worn jean shorts and flip flops. Change your name or change your music!

I see now why magic are having big trouble getting people into the stadium. The security staff is the worst. They wouldn’t let my wife in with a purse/wallet that was .5 and inch over their limits(4.5 x 6.5). This organization Should be ashamed. Guess why they are dead last every season

Great venue and a fun evening had watching the Orlando Magic play against the Houston Rockets
NBA is far from what it was in the 90’s unfortunately, but it is what it is and the venue was still great.
However the limit on bags being allowed in was really weird, the size of my partners was possible 1 cm or 2 over the image and the security sent us away to put it in the car.
Based on this we had to re-queue up, but what if people had arrived by cab or similar? Very odd and very strange process and size limit imo which I don’t agree is right and I never had anything like that at other NBA venues

Visiting some friends in Orlando recently, we had the opportunity to go to a Magic basketball game. First NBA game I have ever attended. It was a great experience, largely because of how nice the arena is, and where our seats were located. The staff are very friendly, and seem to do a good job of controlling the crowd. I especially liked the way they don't let people wonder up and down the aisles while the game is going on. Nice touch. I was also surprised when we decided to get something to eat, and they had some great options other than hot dogs. I had a Cuban panini that was actually pretty good. Glad we went, and would go again.

Very Poor Arena. Mens room lines excessive. Concessions lines where very long and slow. 100 level seating is ok but you have to climb 20 or so steps to get in or out. Heaven help ADA"s.
I will say that it was a full house for the UFC at 21000 plus people.
Very safe lively area in downtown Orlando, Arena staff very efficient and friendly. Beer lines short and efficient but bathroom lines not so.

Amway Center please join the rest of us in the 21st century, where running a website with clear, concise and accurate information is an actual thing. Not only does your website not provide a list of possible concessions, meaning that as a family we cant make any dining plans prior to arrival, the maps function of the various concourses on the website isnt functioning. No matter which level you click on the map comes back with "website not found."

Hi everyone!
I'm hoping you can all help, for the very first time ever (because the NBA is out of town during our visit) I'm attending an Orlando Solar Bears game at the Amway Centre with my brother and Dad in December.
I just wanted to know what things there are to do inside Amway during the hockey games? Is it worth arriving early for food and drink options or is it fairly limited?
Would appreciate any insight from anyone locally who attends all the time or international visitors.
Thank you :)

We are going to watch a NBA game on Black Friday but would like to go shopping in Premium Outlet beforehand. Since there is a bag size limit for Amway Center, does anyone know where we could temporarily store the extra bags? We would be staying in Disney at that time & move to Universal Studio 2 days after. Thank you!

There are lockers for rent at the entrance. I cannot recall how much they cost, but we used them and were satisfied with the service.
