As a solo woman traveler it was the perfect adventure. Both Greg and Astrid expertly handled everything before, during and after the week long excursion down the Buffalo River. This is an amazing river with beautiful high bluffs and mezmering waters. Our small group of 9 people was perfection. Greg's expert knowledge of the river and the areas flora and fauna was amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to book another week long trip.....I'm looking forward to it.

We had an excellent kayaking tour with our wonderful guide, Bill. He is very knowledgeable about the nature in the area, and told us a lot of interesting facts about the wild animals we spotted. We were very lucky to have seen so many manatees in the river and got so close to them. It was such a great experience. For those who would like to see the manatees during the season, I would definitely recommend the Blue Spring and this tour.

We had a beautiful afternoon for kayaking. We met up with our guide, Bill, as directed just beyond the entrance to Blue Spring Park and had a reasonably sized group of 7 for the afternoon. Bill was very knowledgable and led us out and back on a a very relaxing tour of the river. We saw a good handful of gators and large variety of birds. Unfortunately, the higher temps of the past couple weeks had already scattered the manatees, so we'll have to come back in the colder months for our manatee sighting.

It was fun and our guide Guy was very helpful. Even though we were surprised by a thunder storm and had to give up on the island, it was still quite an experience and I highly recommend this, just to try something different than your usual tourist tours. The only negative thing I can say is that it was shorter than the two hours as advertised. We came back 30 minutes early and that was a shame because we had a great time and would have liked to see more the last half an hour.

Worry free travel. We were picked up on time at the airport. All of our food was taken care of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Homemade desserts. Side hikes to a waterfall. Every campsite, the views got better and better with views of high bluffs, we were on sandy river banks. First couple days we had white water and the last day. We saw gorgeous Northern lights that was a special treat and a surprise. Stars every night of course, meteor shower. We saw plenty of bald eagles, we heard the whippoorwills every night and every morning. We saw deer and snakes and beavers and otters.. this trip was Sunday to Sunday there was barely anybody on the river we practically had it to ourselves. Everything was provided boats, tents, water, toilet paper. Greg our guide was excellent. I asked him to bring coffee to my tent every morning and he surpassed my expectations. Greg really cares about his clients and their safety. Greg gives clear and concise direction. Whenever we could avoid harsh conditions of the River or the weather he adapted. I definitely would never attempt this without a guide of Greg's caliber and experience. He has professionally guided over 20 trips on this river. I never felt scared or unsafe with him at the helm. Everything was well-paced, we were never in a hurry. I was with a great group of friends, we played guitars and sang around the campfire and played board games. Made two new friends as well. I would definitely do this River again. It has everything and there's no River like it Florida.

12 friends from Upstate NY went on a week long lodge based event involving kayaking and hiking. Greg and Bill did an awesome job of guiding, shuttling and cooking. The experience, service and food was spectacular. We explored the Blackwater River State Forest just outside of Pensacola. Greg booked us at the Schoolhouse Inn at Adventures Unlimited . Greg and Bill are top notch guides and operate a first rate operation. This is the fourth time that I've been on this particular trip. I've been going on trips with Greg and Adventures In Florida since 2016 and I plan to do many more.

We had a group of 12 women that kayaked different rivers each day for a 6 day trip. We were based in four two bedroom houses in Suwannee State Park. Greg and Astrid made each day perfect with delicious breakfasts and dinners prepared and cleaned up by them. We kayaked a different river each day and swam in crystal clear springs. They were informative and interesting guides. They provide top quality kayaks, paddles and PFD’s too. Can’t wait to take another trip with them.

The Kayak FLIRTS are an amazing group of adventurous ladies who we enjoyed showing off some of our favorite paddling rivers. Hope to be on the water with you all again soon.

Hiking, paddling, bird watching….oh my. Then you return to the lodge to appetizers and a great meal. Lodging, meals, experiences were all top notch.

Three things really stood out. The lodge owner and the tour guides had such an easy working relationship. To me, that speaks volumes about trust and respect.

Second, other tours I have been on were locked into a rigid schedule because of “jobbing out” parts of the tour. This tour was very flexible because the had all the equipment and did all the guiding.

Third, the equipment! Carbon fiber paddles, new boats with good seats, NRS life jackets…not your standard tour equipment.

Greg and Bill were wonderful, knowledgeable and worked well together. I highly recommend this tour company for vacation happiness.

My fiance and I LOVED the bio-luminescent kayak tour. Our tour guide was great. He met us at a time that was good for us with very short notice. He even brought extra supplies for us to use.
We had recently tried to go on a bio luminescent tour through a different company and had a terrible experience (they took us to a place that had no luminescence) but this tour guide knew the right spot to go and it was fantastic! Was so much fun kayaking at night and being able to see small jellies in the water and other fish as the move making the water glow. Would highly recommend this experience to everyone!

We booked a kayaking tour down the river but due to manpower shortages we were advised to change to the manatee trip instead.
It was a great suggestion, we got to see so many manatees swimming right up to the kayaks. We also saw a bald eagle and one small alligator.
The guides were very experienced and knowledgeable.
