We were lucky enough to be the only 2 booked when we went. So we got a private guided tour of the St John's River with plenty of wildlife. Astrid was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the different wildlife we were seeing. She also gave us tips to kayak better since we brought our own kayaks.

Kayaked the local Rivers. Being one with nature is better than any theme park. Spiritual and majestic experience far from commercialism.

I recently attended a trip on Lake Powell with Adventures in Florida. All I have to say is Wow! We were on a house boat for a week, which allowed us to motor to different areas of the lake and each day we got to kayak and hike to see different things. The scenery and view were spectacular. While the vegetation and animals were sparse, the awe factor was high. The combination of the light, the color of the rocks, and the reflections created in the water was simply incredible. Not to mention the stars at night-- it is too easy to forget how many of them actually exist. I just wanted to stay awake and stare up at the sky each and every night. I have been on a few trips now with guide/company owner, Greg Pflug, and he never disappoints-- He takes people to beautiful places, he is highly knowledgeable of both kayaking and the outdoors in general, he is entertaining, and a great cook! His trips are the best and I highly recommend both this company and this trip. You won't be disappointed!

This trip was even more amazing than I ever imagined! Greg Pflug and Adventures in Florida put together a seamless, active but relaxing 6 days in one of the most dramatic settings I’ve ever experienced. Did I mention Greg is also an amazing chef? From grilled salmon to catfish caught from the back of the boat every meal was well prepared and delicious. Kayaking, hiking or exploring the coastline by foot there was always plenty to keep us entertained. Some of us elected to sleep on top deck under the stars which was one of my favorite parts. I will definitely keep an eye out for my next adventure with Greg and Adventures in Florida!
