My bioluminescent kayak tour went beyond my expectations. My tour guide Bill was extremely friendly and knowledgable about the science behind bioluminescence, nature in Florida, and the Titusville area. He adjusted the tour as we went and gave us a 2 hour experience for a great price, he was even willing to extend the length of our visit at no extra charge. The bioluminescent did not disappoint. At certain areas of the water movement was a bright glowing blue and the scenery was beautiful. My friends and I would absolutely return.

Yes, Florida might be well-known for its white sandy beaches and ocean waves, but for an amazing new experience, venture into the interior and paddle its miles and miles of rivers. There, under guides Greg and Astrid of Adventures in Florida, you will float along gentle waterways lined with pine and cypress trees, swim in crystal clear spring-fed pools, and be on the lookout for turtles, exotic birds, and the occasional alligator resting on the banks. Our group of twelve women are avid kayakers who have traveled across the United States and Canada annually for a kayak adventure. This was our first trip into Florida, and I don’t think it will be our last.
We stayed in comfortable cabins at Rock Cut State Park. Greg fed us with scrumptious, hearty meals and enthusiastically shared his knowledge of Florida wildlife, peppered with lots of funny stories gleaned from his years of experience guiding all kinds of outdoor excursions from literally around the world. Astrid acted as our official photographer, taking very professional photos of our group as well as great closeups of the wildlife and interesting plants along the way. That allowed many of us to just enjoy the beauty directly without having cameras come in between.
I would recommend that if you like a little adventure in your life, book a trip with Adventures in Florida. You will not regret it!

Fabulous kayak tour by Jim our guide. Jim was knowledgeable about the animals and plants we saw, pointing them out and commenting about their behavior. As my first kayak experience on the St John River and beautiful adjacent creek, Jim made the experience easy and put all of the ladies in my small group at ease with paddling and moving over the plants when necessary. We were especially thrilled to be able to see the manatees. Highly recommend this wonderful kayak tour with Adventure in Florida.

We booked a bioluminescent guided paddle because of a recommendation on Facebook. After a misunderstanding on my part, I ended up arriving late. Bill had someone wait for us at the launch and guide us out to the rest of the group, and then took us back out afterward to make up for what we missed. Again, the mistake was on my part and this was nothing short of impeccable customer service.

As a business, Adventures in Florida is knowledgeable, communicative, and provides incredible value to their customers and we will be using their services again.

As an experience, the bioluminescent night paddle was extraordinary. Words can't describe it. I recommend it, and Adventures in Florida to anyone who is looking for a new outdoor experience.

The rivers at the Wakulla Lodge kayak tour had to be one of the best trips I have taken. It was well organized from the hotel/airport pickup to the incredible home cooked meals. The Wakulla Lodge is a wonderful old building from the early 1900's offering hiking on surrounding trails and swimming in the springs. The kayaking trips were varied from winding rivers to the ocean on the Gulf. Such a relaxed atmosphere and flexibility gave everyone the ability to do what they most enjoyed. Our guides Bill and Gina never stopped moving to provide the absolute best experience. Bill always had a smile even on our "adventure" on the slave canal. Gina offered yoga every morning on the diving platform overlooking swimming manatees and the rising sun. I give this tour a high plus recommendation and can't wait to travel again with Adventures in Florida

We did the Winter Park Chain of Lakes Tour and had a fantastic time. Bill met my husband, two teenage sons and I at the lake and took us out for a great morning of kayaking. We saw great landscape, animals. Bill took time to point out all the wildlife we saw, tell us everything we needed to know and more. He was patient with us novice kayakers and we had a perfect family morning on the water. I will be booking another trip with them when we return to Florida.

During this COVID mess its a perfect activity for social distancing! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to get out on the water anytime.

We had the Manatee-Encounter kajak tour with Guy. He was very professional with profound knowledge about flora, fauna, the animals and the habitats. I really appreciated that the whole tour and especially Guy respected the manatees and their wellbeing. He told us how to behave around this precious animals to minimize the disturbance and took care that everyone followed this instructions.
He also took account of the participant's wishes and shaped the tour according to them. I always felt safe and sound, also when seeing gators :-) I recommend this tour to everyone else that is interested in nature and manatees - better choose kajaking than snorkelling with those protected animals. That is for sure better for them.

I’ve paddled the bio several times, and this was the best I’ve seen it. We opted for a private tour for our group of twelve, which gave us flexibility to explore at our own pace and spend extra time swimming at the island in the glowing waters! Our guides, Bill and Gina, we’re friendly and fabulous. Most of our group had just moved to Florida - what a memorable way to introduce them to Florida’s natural beauty!!

Two families with teenagers decided at the last minute to have a private "Manatee Encounter" kayaking tour on St John's River, and Gina our guide made it happen! The kayaking was wonderful. We spotted many manatees, plus we saw little alligators, a great blue heron and many other birds. An excellent experience and a very customer-oriented and knowledgeable tour guide!

Joined an outdoor group for a 6 day guided trip in Blackwater State Forest. Greg and Bill guided us through twists, turns and logjams on Cold Water Creek, Big Juniper Creek and Blackwater River. Swimming holes and plenty of sandy beaches added to the enjoyment of our time on the water.

Greg and Bill read the group and adjusted plans based on skill level and weather conditions. We paddled Hurricane Lake and tossed in a couple of hikes, all necessary to burn off calories from Greg's excellent cooking. Bill led the evening's activities with Jenga and Chickenfoot and the entire experience created new friendships within the group of new faces.

I highly recommend this company and these guides.
