The Basilica has masses on Saturday (vigil) and Sunday mornings and in the afternoon. It is the closest Catholic Church to Disney. We attended the 1130am Sunday Mass. Great Choir and a beautiful church. Check out the small museum on the history of pilgrimage in the gift shop.

We have visited the Queen of the Universe Basilica dozens of times. If you plan to go,and you should, be prepared to spend a little time there. Enjoy the serenity that engulfs you immediately. Embrace the quietness away from the hustle of Orlando and its many distraction attractions. Walk through the Holy Door this year. Feel comforted by the availability... More

The Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe is a beautiful place for Catholics to attend a Mass service. But people of all faiths will be welcomed by Monsignor Paul Henry and the dedicated group of volunteers. Coffee and donuts are served in the welcome center, and the gift shop is a "must visit" experience. The... More

We visit the Shrine almost every year during our trip to Disney World. It's easy to get to, and you can see it from I-4 no problem. The local police direct traffic on the weekends so it's not crazy getting in or out. People are welcoming and from all over the world. The choir on Sunday was very, very good... More

You can see the Basilica from I-4. It is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. If you are Catholic, they have daily Mass and confessions. For non-Catholics (and Catholics) they have beautiful prayer areas and an extensive gift shop. There are several areas on the grounds for peaceful meditation and some wonderful Christian statues. They have... More

The basilica is beautiful and the grounds are meant to sit and listen. To be with your thoughts and reflect. If you go to Sunday mass the choir is amazing. And the gift shop is a must.

"Indeed, one of the hallmarks of this new church would be "natural lighting" from stained glass windows that were to extend the entire length of the nave. Looking down from the upper reaches of the Shrine Church would be a series of 16 clerestory windows - "The Rosary Windows" - to bath the area below with a soft translucence and... More
