Beautiful Gardens
Aug 2021 • Business
This place is right up my alley. I don’t like touristy spots. I like more of a nature type setting. The variety of plants and the impeccable grounds keeping make it incredibly beautiful! There are plenty of resting spots if needed.

Best to enjoy the gardens from October thru May when it is not so hot and humid. We are annual members and love to walk and enjoy the surrouundings.

Lovely

If you are coming for the butterfly garden in particular this is not the place. For that you want to go to Lukas Nursery and Butterfly Encounter. Now, if you want to walk around a beautiful property and see flowers, foliage, beautiful sights, and hunt fairy doors (great addiction for kids) then this is the place. It is not super expensive and lovely experience.

The Live Oaks and Bamboo stole the show for me

Get lost in the gardens and enjoy yourself. The trails wind all over the place with wonderful surprises everywhere. I highly recommend a visit and a stroll. I would have loved a little refreshment stand - because it’s hot and humid in Florida. A little iced drink on the terrace would have been lovely. Otherwise, the gardens are filled with a variety of plants.

Morning walk
Jul 2021 • Family
It was the day after the tropical storm passed by and there were few people out and about. We decided to go to the gardens and glad we did. Only a few people were there and the wind kept it cool out. Numerous trails with a variety of plants from around the world. Great place to take a morning stroll. Will return in spring when more is in bloom. I think this is a hidden secret

Lovely garden in central Florida
Jun 2021
The wife and I love to find local gardens wherever we go. I'm a huge fan of palms, cycads and other tropical plants so this place was right up my alley. There are plenty of trails with informational plaques to let you know the different types of plants. Plus, at only $10 per person it's a steal.

Simply beautiful! In the heart of Orlando, Wow!!
Jun 2021
What a nice surprise to have found this beautiful garden! If you enjoy learning about local history, trees, plants; if you enjoying walking through shaded walkways-this place is for you! If you hold a garden membership at another garden, please inquire if they will reciprocate. No food on property, so plan to bring something to drink.
Take time to tour the museum home on the property. The docent was excellent and you will learn a great deal about the history and how it all started. Nice giftshop.
A map is provided but it didn't seem to be to scale. In summer, go early in day and you can easily stroll/look/learn for 2 plus hours. I will be back.

Very nice

We loved our visit to Leu Gardens . . . also saw a little boy and girl dressed up as fairies and that made it all the more delightful! The gift store could offer postcards, that would be nice . . .

Natural beauty in Orlando
Jun 2021 • Family
If you want to spend some time off the beaten path in Orlando this is the place to visit. The grounds are well kept. Pathways are easily maneuverable and you can go at your own pace. Bathrooms are available and clean. Kids may find this boring depending on their personality.
Loved the butterfly garden which is completely outdoors, attracting pollinators naturally! The rose garden smelled amazing. Bring a bottle of water and maybe a fan too. It is very humid in Orlando, especially in the warmer months, which limited the time we spent there. If it were less humid I could have spent a couple of hours just walking and enjoying the scenery. Relax and escape the usual tourist activities at Leu Gardens.

Lovely gardens
May 2021
This whole place was lovely. I especially liked the little bridges and that most walkways were shaded. Tropical plants as well as indigenous with overlooks. The rose garden was beautiful. It was a lot of walking and we're older, but we took it slowly and spent several enjoyable hours there. Most of it did seem to be wheelchair accessible.
