We went to Leu Gardens for one of our non-park days rather than sitting by the pool at the villa. We're members of the National Trust so were looking for something similar in the USA. Pleasantly surprised by how attractive the gardens are given their urban location, free parking was also a nice touch Some visitors have commented on the... More

For being close to downtown Orlando, the gardens were much bigger than I would've imagined. The $10 entrance free per person was a value, with a 30 minute tour of the house on property included. The arid garden was my personal favorite. Definitely a great way to spend the first few hours of the morning.

Spent mothers day there with my close friend and our kids. We had a great time relaxing and taking pictures. The walk around the gardens was beautiful.

What is being promised verbally and what was actually done for us were different. Slow or no reply by the wedding coordinator. Complained to the CEO or the big manager. He cannot understand how important wedding is and hanged up on me. Very rude considering I am a long time patron. Will no spend money there anymore.

We could have spent hours here, there are over 40 acres of gardens. Beautiful and colorful tropical plants and HUGE old oak trees!

Even if it's off-season, the walking paths are relaxing. They offer classes in horticulture, as well. Always worth a visit when in the area. Might just help you skip that extra doze of Xanax if you're traveling through on family business ... ahem ...

Not hard to find with a garmin, north Orlando. Friendly staff. Easy for wheelchairs or strollers. Probably has peak season for flowers so do some research. Glad we went. Got us away from the theme park crowds.

Visited twice whilst in Florida. The first time just my husband and me and then we took a friend the second time. The gardens were well kept and being developed and the flowers were different each time we went. Certainly worth a visit if you want a break from the theme parks.
