"Disney's BoardWalk area contains more than 90,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and nightclubs. It encompasses Crescent Lake and is ""a village on the water"" near many Disney Resort hotels in Walt Disney World Resort. This quarter-mile entertainment, dining and shopping area is also conveniently close to 2 Disney Theme Parks. With sherbet-colored building facades, striped awnings, rising columns and archways, Disney's BoardWalk is designed after the boardwalks that were famous during the turn of the 20th century along such coastal cities as Coney Island, New York and Atlantic City, New Jersey.Stroll along Disney's BoardWalk during the day to explore the unusual shops and restaurants. When the sun cools down, the nightlife heats up with street performers, food vendors, midway games and lots of live entertainment.

They have ESPN for the sports fan.High priced bar food.Staff are wonderful . We love the actors that put on little shows and interact with the the guests . They have a cute little country type store. They have a few carnival games and good funnel cakes. We just feel its not enough to do here.

While staying at Disney we explored many of the hotels and other places on their property. Enjoyed a beautiful sunny day strolling along the wooden boardwalk. We checked out the boardwalk hotel. We saw a chipmunk and some large grey squirrels with really fluffy tails at the boardwalk hotel. We looked at some of the shops and restaurant menus. Had... More

Boardwalk is the best located resort in my opinion. You can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. It has two pools, fun activities on the boardwalk.

First things first: we had no trouble finding a parking space (free) around 5PM, albeit it in the off-season. Valet parking was $25; many reviews warn of the lack of parking, but this time of day and year we had no problems. The 1/4 mile Boardwalk reminds me of my younger days in Atlantic City. Several restaurants, shops, games, funnel... More

Take a Friendship boat and enjoy a stroll on the boardwalk. This is mostly restaurants and gift stores however. We did not visit the dance hall so its a destination with only a few things to do. Short walk over to the Swan and Dolphin from there. You could also walk to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios

Which choices we can find in Orlando of free entertainment, not a lot, here your family can walk, enjoy fireworks and take great photos at no cost. Their is some options that involve fee ,like rent bikes or pizza also. So if you in the mood for fireworks, Boardwalk is an excellent choice.
