Basic tour was as described, though Textile Services employees were described as separate employees and not like the rest of the Disney cast members giving the feel of a separate caste. As for lunch we arrived at Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge where we were...More

Brilliant tour! First the important answers: You do NOT need to buy a park pass for this, this tour is all you need, and although you are in the parks at various times, you will not have time to do anything except the Backstage tour......More

As others have stated, guides Amber and Katiie were knowledgeable and entertaining. During the tour they explained about the audition process to attain their guide jobs and how they continue to improve their skills. Most of our group were older adults, but we brought our...More

My wife and I agree this was easily one of the best choices we have made as a way to spend a day not doing the parks. Being able to see some of the back stage happenings and operations actually makes the Disney Magic even...More

After 3 days of theme parks it was nice to get a different perspective of the Disney experience. The tour accommodates enough people that we used a bus to get around. We had 2 tour guides and split up at each location to keep the...More

We met at Epcot and joined with others in the group and two Disney cast members; Gerald and Amber. We rode a bus from point to point throughout the day to visit areas that can't normally be seen any other way. Amber and Gerald are...More

My husband, my adult son and I took this tour. It is a 7-hour experience. The downside is the cost (~$275 per person plus tax). The upside is the up-close look at things like costuming (fascinating), the "scene shop" (quite interesting), and hotel laundry (oddly...More

.......which one would you choose. Both are backstage tours. Anyone done both? Is entry to the park extra?

Hiya FF~~~~~~You need to pay park admission as usual, and the tours are the "extra" bit. I have not done it,because I think it would spoil the magic,at least for me. I do know 2 people that have done it,and were fascinated. They did the backstage magic. Happy planning!!
