I have been going to this park for many year well since it opened way back. For me it still remains the best water park in the world for one reason when you enter you are in a whole new world for the day.

Just wonderful in every way. So relaxing, and the staff were really helpful. We had a cabana for the day which was nice, but on reflection possibly a luxury we didn't need. The place was spotless, the rides were great, and the queues weren't too bad at all. One thing I particularly appreciated was the vegan/vegetarian menu. Veggie food can be very difficult to find in the US and I'd been to places like McDonald's and found they had NOTHING vegetarian on the menu which was just scandalous. But Typhoon Lagoon had an entire vegetarian/vegan menu with some really great choices on it.

Most people we spoke to wouldn’t think of rope dropping a water park, but we found it was a really effective way of getting things done. Turn up about 15 minutes before they open (which still gives you a lie in as they open later anyway) and you’ll be right at the front of the queue. Save time by going in your swimwear and renting towels there, which are free for resort guests. To make things even easier, avoid taking any valuables, pay for everything with your magic band, and just leave your now small pile of belongings on a sunlounger while you get on the rides. Doing all this, we managed to ride Crush n Gusher three times back to back with no queue, and complete every ride in the park including more than one lap of the lazy river all before lunch time. Also don’t forget to bring watershoes as they will save burning your feet on the hot stone paths.

Amazing water park! Perfect for a full family day out! Absolute love the big wave pool it’s such good fun! Great water rides throughout and all round great atmosphere. Plenty of sun to be had here but plenty of shade if that’s not for you! Plenty of loungers for all, gets really busy when you get the most stunning days but not bad at all other than that I’m my opinion. Great day out if you don’t fancy he hustle and bustle of the parks and want to cool down in some water.
