Spent half a day at Typhoon Lagoon in August of 2016 with my husband and 8 year old daughter as part of our 2 week Disney holiday from the UK. Myself and my husband had been here previously about 10 years ago and were disappointed that it didn't seem to have moved on much, if anything it had deteriorated. There... More

The waves was cool but too rough for under 5 y.o. The blizzard have more option for younger kids than typhoon. We are heading back in Oct. 2016 and March 2017 since we have the annual pass with water park. Best to use refill mugs and share. Bring your own cups so you can split stuff. Bring your own food,... This water park's main attraction is the huge wave pool. Every so often a loud siren will sound and the waves start. These become progressively bigger over time and more extreme the further out you venture. Great fun if you are a strong swimmer. Not so good if you only prefer to paddle !

Varta very busy, especially at the weekends. It is a good waterpark which is not as extreme as Blizzard Beach. There is a nice lazy river and the new attraction of swimming with sharks is novel.

This was my partner and the young kids' joint favourite place, was a nation of things to do to keep the kids occupied, nice big slides for adults aswell. Also chill out area for older guests. Food available was good bit pricey but you will pay it.

Brilliant - really nice rides (most quite tame and family friendly). Great wave pool too. Just beware, the storms in Florida can close this place pretty quickly and a wet 2 hour bus queue can follow! We went back and it was well worth it.

Hot, busy and very expensive. There are better water parks in the Orlando area. That said, the wave pool has to be experienced to be believed. No other wave pool will every now compare for my kids. The size of the waves was frightening, but it did not stop them going back for more! Worth going just for the wave... More

GET HERE EARLY!!! NO CHARGE FOR PARKING!!! We arrived at ~9:15am and the lawn chairs were already being quickly claimed, real estate is at a premium. Be sure to leave a towel on your chairs and if you are visiting from June-Sep, there will be afternoon rain (~3pm). We inquired about the cabana rental and they only had a super... More

The only activity I didn't feel I needed to plan- we arrived hour before opening and have never been aloud to live it down! So check hours, good fun park, ques can be long and watch out for waves as they can be big!
