We visited this park as a family and had a GREAT time. The safari ride was about 20 min and took you through an African wilderness where you can see everything from lions to giraffes to elephants up close. Disney did an amazing job balancing the welfare of the animals with education and just plain enjoyment - we felt like... More

We love visiting zoos and nature reserves, we love Disney parks generally, but we have little love for Animal Kingdom. We spent a day here in October. Ride lines were short enough that we rode several rides back to back as much as we would like. If we had a shorter trip, this would've been cut from our itinerary.

I am in my mid 60s and went here with my daughter and sister. I think this park is more suited to older adults than any of the other parks. Everywhere in Disney is lots of walking and few chances to sit. Good to go to once.

There's probably not review that will affect your decision to go. So, here are some "tips" that worked well for us. Rides: The two most popular rides seemed to be the safari and the everest rides. Arrive early and/or book fast passes. Our 6yo is quite adventurous with the rides, but the everest ride was a bit more than she... More

This is my favorite Disney park. The Kilimanjaro Safari and the Tough to be a Bug show are my favorite attractions at this park, and the outdoor zoo is also excellent. The atmosphere re-creates Asia, Africa, and prehistoric times. It is a lot of fun for people of all ages.

This park is my third favorite park, but it still ranks as a must see. The Safari Ride is great. We were fortunate to see very species that is in the Kingdom. It was morning and moderately cool. Suggest you try to make this ride as early as possible. The Lion King production was great. Good rides and a nice... More

The "WOW" of the day was even before we were let in. It was a few minutes before opening and we were in the park behind ropes. When they were ready to take the rope down, they instructed those in the front not to go in yet...then music started along with a welcome message from one of the Animal Kingdom... More

Not my favorite Disney park, but still pretty cool and in typical Disney style, everything is first class! If you like barbecue, try the restaurant near the entrance ( I believe it is called the Fire grill) it will not disappoint. Large portions of delicious food for a decent price. Also, make sure you ride Expedition Everest and see the... More

It is the most educational place for anyone to increase their knowledge about our wildlife. There's lots of parking spots. Friendly knowledgeable employees and great food for every taste. I recommend this place highly.
